You continue in pattern until it is the size you want, them decrease on every second row. Simple.

How many total of stitches did you put on the needles when you had finish

cast on 3 sts
row 1: k 3
row 2: k1, kfbf, k1 (knit front, back, front on the middle stitch)
row 3: k 5
row 4: k1, kfb, k 1, kfb, k1
row 5: k 7
row 6: k 1, kfb,k 3, k fb, k 1
row 7: k 9
row 8: k1, kfb, k5, kfb, k1
row 9: k 11
row 10: k 5, yo, k 6
row 11: k 5, yo, k 7
and so on ( every row k 5, yo (yarn over) and knit to the last stitch.
until your desire lenght and bind off.

Per esguire una mattonella quadrata con questo bordo come si fanno le diminuzioni, per poter terminare in modo corretto la mattonella ,per favrr mi potrebbe aiutare,son alle prime armi e vorrei eseguire uguale a questo duo esempio perché lo considero molto bello pe fare.una bella coperta ,per,favore mi può aiutare ,non conosco l'inglese ,mipotrebne spiegare in italiano,mi chiamo

sorry i must be stupid i dont understand so you stopped increasing at eleven how many more increasing rows
I think each time you do a yarn over that is increasing.
so at how many stitches do i stop to increase please
you continue the yarn over increases until shawl is as big as you want.
whoopee ive worked it out ha ha . now another question when i get to required size how do i finish to get the shape at end corner as the beginning if that makes sense
how do i finish off .i.e. decreasing at required size
