The lady whose husband stole tips from his staff and shouted at/threw out customers who wanted refunds? That was very much not scripted, if the way she acted after the show was over and in the youtube comments of that episode was any indication.

The twins one is my favorite episode tbh, the twins were two guys who genuinely wanted help from Gordon, who were a little in over their heads and took his advice to heart. I heard apparently they did improve after Gordon, and when they retired Gordon personally visited them on their last day.
Honestly they just needed freshness and clean, i mean they seemed lazy with cleaning and hygiene, but i think that's due to no one told them what they do is wrong, Gordon told them the harsh truth, they accepted it and listened to him. I respect the twins for that, they were honestly up for the change not like many others who is up for the change until Gordon leaves, good example for that is Mangia Mangia, after Gordon left, everything went back the old ways in couple of months.

The twins one is my favorite episode tbh, the twins were two guys who genuinely wanted help from Gordon, who were a little in over their heads and took his advice to heart. I heard apparently they did improve after Gordon, and when they retired Gordon personally visited them on their last day.

Honestly they just needed freshness and clean, i mean they seemed lazy with cleaning and hygiene, but i think that's due to no one told them what they do is wrong, Gordon told them the harsh truth, they accepted it and listened to him. I respect the twins for that, they were honestly up for the change not like many others who is up for the change until Gordon leaves, good example for that is Mangia Mangia, after Gordon left, everything went back the old ways in couple of months.

@@darren_khy yeah, even i feel disappointed when i learn they close down within weeks due to owners going back the old ways, then how Gordon feels? He puts in so many hours to help them, even renovating their restaurant which cost money, all that hard work goes down the drain. They should least try their best to keep the changes, even it fails in the end, they could at least say they tried their best, but when they don't even try that's disappointing and upsetting.
I couldn't help but notice they didn't wear gloves while preparing the food tho
