Man, just how soft spoken and levelheaded Gordon was when he talked to Amy at the end, really goes to show that he gets angry at chefs because he cares and believes it’s what they need to hear. At that point, he knew there was no getting through to Amy, so there was no point getting heated.

Aussie culinary standard are extremely high. Poor restaurants would be rare. The coffee is average not as bad as English coffee. Aussie cakes and deserts are world class. The reds are some of the best. Your pies are probably the worlds worst. All of them. Only good pies are from the U.K and New Zealand. The U.S do probably the best desert pies. It's probably the meat. The best Aussie steak I would not use in a stew. It's dry, stringy, way too lean and no taste at all. Strangely the burgers are o.k. I remember an Aussie bakery opening up in NZ and their pies were the same as back in Aussie. They closed down quickly.

I've had two girls and admittedly threw up over 40 times a day in those pregnancies, but I still got horrendously sick with my boys and couldn't eat or drink either. It's a total myth that you're only sick when it's a girl. Some people have a gene that causes much more intense sickness in pregnancy no matter the sex of the baby
