The game looks so good! I would definitely like to get it however when I asked my parents about buying through kickstarter they said it would be a bit risky and they felt unsure about it and that is why I never was able to get one. If it were through like Amazon or able to be found in store it would be a blessing. However from what it sounds like that would be difficult to do.
I understand their concern but kickstarters for physical board games are generally very safe to back. If they hit funding then you are going to get your game, it just takes a while. I have supported well over 30 games across a few years and not a single one has ever just not given me my reward
Bought the Print-n-Play and have loved playing with my siblings! I even made my own Keeypling, Groovy Sam, the disco spider! Wish I could share a picture, but comments won't allow any links it seems. My siblings and I have tweaked few Keeyplings to reduce obnoxious camping and stalling strategies (*cough* Hat-Nip *cough* Blue Jazz) and it's been delightful fun! We even made up a new mode where you each play two Keeyplings at once, haha.
blue jazz doesnt ignore defense and can only be used at its turn tho, its the same as a regular attack except ranged and increases damage depending on range
How do you play the game? I can't afford to buy it and thought i'd make one myself using materials at home but he never explained in depth how to play it, can you tell me how or send me to a link to see the notebook that comes with the game pls
i just finished making my print and play copy and cant wait to play it next board games night with my friends. thanks for making it a print and play and making it more available
I backed this after finding your video over the development process, and my family & I love it! Especially my younger sister. It's really simple & easy to learn.
As always I REALLY appreciate the videos you make, they are so inspiring and insightful and I learn so much from each one. Watch out man! One day I might just pop off with something awesome I made from everything I learned on your channel 😤😂 Also cant wait to play The Keeyp, will sign the petition!
Hey Goodgis! I'm always finished watching your videos thinking "Man, that was a great video, I should probably comment on it saying something about how great he is at making them." and I just don't know what else to say other than that they are great, and I genuinely get such a big dopamine rush whenever I see in my youtube notifications that there is a new video you've made. I also know you reply to so many comments, it's unreal. The Keeyp game video is the first video I ever saw of your channel. Obviously it was super interesting, and when I found out you did game dev, I have watched almost every video you've posted so far. That has been very rewarding, and makes my day better of course. The simplistic art style you use in your videos is great, and is very easy on the eyes to look at. I wish there was a way to express what I think about the content more in depth more than just "Like the video, it was great," because it's so overused and general it reminds me of like school with the people who write essays on simple questions and people who write about 4 words, and I fall into the essays category (I feel bad for my writers callus), and the 4 words type of person is so basic and vague it's like trying to say your life's story in one sentence, except the sentence is almost identical in some way to almost everybody else. Trying to come up with a different comment is super hard, I guess, unless there's something that REALLY caught your attention. There is something that caught mine, like the fact that the Keeyp "flopped". That really makes me sort of sad that such a good game has sort of died down. Well, yeah, I write comments all of the time. Never once in my life have I ever wrote one this long. (joke that's not true) I think I've written enough. If some of this isn't grammatically correct, I kind of just typed whatever my fingers tope (typed? what's the word for the past tense of type that would make sense in this situation bruh), and I just let it auto pilot. I want to get my word out, but typing paragraphs upon paragraphs (which I have not done here) is tiring, and I think I'm done. I've said what I guess I wanted to say, and I'm not going to go back, read the whole thing, and check, so uh I guess you have a great day, or night, don't know what time it is for you. Bye!
Honestly, I've been really loving this game. It's such an amazing board game, i would spend hours playing it with siblings without feeling bored at all unlike other kinds of board games we would play with, this is hands down the best board game there ever is. Keep up the great work! I hope you'll gain more profit on this project for how many efforts you've put into it, you deserve so many awards! Can't wait for more future content for the game, love your channel and as always stay safe!
Absolutely Love the idea, presentation and result of the game! It’s unfortunate that funding is an issue but the print and play idea was absolutely genius. Unfortunately I was way too late for the kickstarter and didn’t even notice it had happened at first. Although my goals are different from yours, seeing you thrive even after you thought it was all over is inspiring and i wish you and the keeyp luck.
This is the content I originally subscribed for. I'm a board game developer and when I was doing research on roguelite board games I found your original Keeyp video and subbed after watching it. I'd love to get frequent updates on your journey with Keeyp and its expansions, so please keep posting this kind of content!
Videos such as this are really valuable! I've got plans for a visual novel, it is surprisingly hard to find content that discusses the problems of physical releases. I'll have to check the game out. Hopefully there will be an another physical release in the future.
My brother and I are in the middle of making a game currently and we are planning to release on kickstarter so I'm really glad this got recommended. Well done on making a successful game that looks really fun to play. Super informative vid!
I was about to comment how sad it is that I would never be able to experience The Keeyp (bcs I can't buy internet stuff) but now everything is possible.
I've never even heard of The Keeyp before this video, and all I can say is I REALLY WANT YOU TO BRING IT BACK!! This game is awesome! I really love the art style and the goal of the game. If more physical copies are released definitely gonna buy a copy. Again I hope the physical copy comes back :D

I got my copy last month and my friends and I love playing it! It's really clever and it's really well done! Great job on it! I still want that blue door expansion pack tho. I want that. You better make it. Having two doors would be really cool. Another idea: one issue with the game is when you're low on cards. Obviously, as a physical roguelike, it's kinda hard to get around it, but having more cards would be nice... ?
this is a extremely interasting sequal to the other video and i was really happy to see the game become sucessful!! i wish i was able to buy my own copy aswell because its a extremely good game concept aswell!! Im really happy for you Goodgis!! :3
Bro, I know that feeling to create a game on kickstart and the ship get fucking expansive, and the house full of 600 copy....hahaha bro we are the same.
Hi! My name is Cylis. I am on my mom's account and I just want to say that I think this game is really cool! You inspired me to start making my own board game.
Thanks dude, I just got my copy in the mail. I have a few questions about special interactions: 1. Does Slip Kid's ability ignore Slime/Spikes? Can it go through a tunnel? 2. Does Shieldon's ability apply to the Metal Pants (since it's not a "shield")? 3. Does Mooshi have to decide at the beginning of combat if they will fight? If not and Mooshi jumps to evade combat after cards are played, are the cards discarded or kept? 4. Does the Switch card reset HP, or should you track HP when switching characters? Or do you simply keep your HP die as is and only swap the cards? 5. How is damage reflected with Shiny Shield? Assume the attacker plays Axe for +3 ATK against Shiny Shield at +3 DEF. Does the attacker take 3 or 6 damage? 6. If a player without the Key is on the Gate Tile, does the player with the Key have to fight them to successfully exit and win?
1. No, you have to roll for each trap. 2. Yes, pants count as a shield 3. Yes 4. No, your health stays the same. 5. You only deal the weapon damage back 6. Yes, they have to survive the fight
sad i missed the kickstarter, i live in italy and i would love to play this with my friends! probably gonna get the print & play since one of my friends has a printer buisiness tho i would have loved to get the official physical copy
It's really fun! Glad I bought a copy. It's simple enough to understand that even my parents and sister were able and willing to play it with me, but complex enough it doesn't get boring, with plenty of strategy.
The print and play is nice but if im being honest, i would really like a physical copy. I did the Snomes print and play and it wad fantastic but i honestly prefer the feel of the cards and seeing the game arrive. If it is an impossible task, i get it, you're human like me, and sometimes we can't, no biggie, but if you did put physical copies into retail somehow, you would make my decade. Love the vids, and thanks for making such an awesome game, from what ive seen at least, and your work wont be forgotten.
Just did a first playthrough. Was well received by the players, so in the event of another physical printing, I know a few people who would want copies.
Thanks a bunch for this video Goodgis! This will be very handy for when and if I decide to do a kickstarter in a future! And it would be cool to see a steam punk extension :D
I took part in teh Kickstarter and haven't gotten my copy yet, but it is in my country if the tracking code I got is right, should be here within a week, hopefully. Really looking forward to it
First of: great job! A well deserved success. Second: I hope some day it'll be available in physical form in France (of through an online shop to mailed to France) so that I can play this. It really looks unique and fun.
I'm still really, really wanting a physical copy of the Keeyp for me and my family to play. If there's ever any word on how to obtain a copy, please let me know!
I work for a marketing company in Youngstown, OH and we use a few different local printers here. I don't know too much about pricing since I'm not involved in any of our print orders, but I know which ones we've had good experiences with. Akron isn't too far away from Youngstown, so I figured it might be worth reaching out. Let me know if you're interested and I can send over some more information!
this is cool . now i can finally buy the print copy! glad to see things work out for you guys . Edit: got it and hopefully i'll print it soon . i can't wait to try it in family gathering . Tho I would love it if you make video to show how to play it. It will make it easier to introduce it to people who casual to or new to bored games .
Did you ever do a separate video announcing the Kickstarter? I remember the original video about the game and being pretty excited about it then didn’t hear about it again until this video
That looks like a cool game. I’d want a physical copy. Not a huge tabletop guy. I’ll have to check out your other video. Also, I have been researching boardgame creation. Not sure if you’d made a video on that or not, but I would find great value on a video about the process that took place, especially in your head, that led to the creation of the game. What worked, what didn’t work, what thoughts raced through your mind before you landed on certain ideas compared to other ideas? Did you and your friend disagree on aspects of the game and how did you handle it? Edit: I ended up binge watching the channel ha ha. Too bad the game isn’t available anymore except if you paid to print it yourself
I make fun board games since I was in elementary and my friends, and family enjoys it and it was hilarious most of the time. I know my boardgames are a success to us because everyone enjoyed playing it and laugh so hard. I wish I could sell my unique boardgame designs too and share the fun with people.
Please please please please please please keep making the Keeyp physical edition I saw your original video on it and was sad I missed it and don't want to miss is again
I haven't played it but it would be cool if made like running shoes, where it makes the player move double the dice amount..(or something like that) BUT SEEMS A SOLID BOARD GAME
Would love to back a physical copy of it becomes available again! I watched the previous video last year and UA-cam suggested this new video to me again!
This is the first I have heard of it, and damn I really want it buy this! Is there a place I can reserve one, I know the kickstarter is over. But it looks sick! I’m sure it will be worth all of y’all’s hard work.

We definitely will!
Just did a first playthrough. Was well received by the players, so in the event of another physical printing, I know a few people who would want copies.
That's awesome! :D
You have no idea how happy this makes me. Just found out about the Keeyp
:D
Got it a little while back. Soooo fun!!
Super glad to hear it!
Thanks a bunch for this video Goodgis! This will be very handy for when and if I decide to do a kickstarter in a future!
And it would be cool to see a steam punk extension :D
That's a great idea! :D
It’s insane how good looking and professional this game looks I’m blown away OH MY GOD 👍
Thank you so much! :D
I took part in teh Kickstarter and haven't gotten my copy yet, but it is in my country if the tracking code I got is right, should be here within a week, hopefully. Really looking forward to it
Yeah, some over seas copies will probably take a little bit.
Please make more physical copies! I really want this game
First of: great job! A well deserved success.
Second: I hope some day it'll be available in physical form in France (of through an online shop to mailed to France) so that I can play this. It really looks unique and fun.
Thanks so much! That's our dream too. :D
This has made my day
Aww, thanks so much! :D
Wasn't intrested at the start when the first video blew up and got recomended to me by the algorithm, totally am now!
Glad to hear it! haha
i think it's going to be so good
I'm still really, really wanting a physical copy of the Keeyp for me and my family to play. If there's ever any word on how to obtain a copy, please let me know!
Will do! We are trying our best!
Feel free to send us the good ones! hello@firith.studio
Please do, what would be amazing!
this is cool . now i can finally buy the print copy!
glad to see things work out for you guys .
Edit: got it and hopefully i'll print it soon . i can't wait to try it in family gathering .
Tho I would love it if you make video to show how to play it. It will make it easier to introduce it to people who casual to or new to bored games .
Heck yeah!
@@Goodgis btw I am the same guy who made the custom box and sent it in Discord.
I did play it. We enjoyed it :D
I want to see more physical copies. It looks very fun. I wish I had seen these 2 videos before.
It shall return!
Did you ever do a separate video announcing the Kickstarter? I remember the original video about the game and being pretty excited about it then didn’t hear about it again until this video
We did a livestream and one on another channel.
This is so cool. I've always thought it would be so cool to make a board game, but could never think of a good idea :/
You totally should. Just grab some paper, pens/pencils, and steal some monopoly pieces to get started.
@@Goodgis :)
Too bad the game isn’t available anymore except if you paid to print it yourself
first video about this game
@@metris5402 thanks
I make fun board games since I was in elementary and my friends, and family enjoys it and it was hilarious most of the time. I know my boardgames are a success to us because everyone enjoyed playing it and laugh so hard. I wish I could sell my unique boardgame designs too and share the fun with people.
Nice! That's awesome!
@@Goodgis Thank you! Thanks for the inspiration! 😊
Please please please please please please keep making the Keeyp physical edition I saw your original video on it and was sad I missed it and don't want to miss is again
Don't worry, it shall return! :D
I need this game to come to Tabletop Sim so bad, it looks so fun!
:D
I haven't played it but it would be cool if made like running shoes, where it makes the player move double the dice amount..(or something like that) BUT SEEMS A SOLID BOARD GAME
Yes! That's a cool idea. :D
YES FINNALLY!
Finally*
:D
This story is heartwarming
Thanks so much!
Would love to back a physical copy of it becomes available again! I watched the previous video last year and UA-cam suggested this new video to me again!
Fingers crossed! Hopefully we can get them back in stock!
I haven't heard of this game before but it looks like a great idea
Thanks! :D
This is the first I have heard of it, and damn I really want it buy this! Is there a place I can reserve one, I know the kickstarter is over. But it looks sick! I’m sure it will be worth all of y’all’s hard work.
It shall return!
I was wondering what the name of this colourful 3D survival looking game that appears in some of your thumbnails. Can I play it?
It's sadly not available right now.
