Great video, Erik. Thanks! More of this type old-New York brick interior buildings is what I'd like to see. There's something very appealing about the vintage half-moon windows shown in this apartment, too. Nostalgic. I love when builders have respect for the history of a structure.
Where does that antique door lead to?!!
Are You Hero ? 👌🏻😍👻
Ukraine is bombed right now by Putin.👨🦯selective blindness doesn't sell. 🤢
I always wondered what 9 million's worth of IKEA would look like.
The amount of shit you have to buy to get to 9 million, you’re probably able to buy everything in IKEA at least once
@@keizercas6051 not even
@@keizercas6051 no, twice XD
Thought the exact same thing..
🤣
If it’s so historic why do they ruin it by making it so modern? There’s plenty of other modern multi million $ apartments in nyc, keep the character of historic buildings
Levi LaClave agree with you. Saw one on a Brownstone and they had taken all the original details out and made it high end modern. Such a shame.
True brother
Preach! Love the historical vibes.
100% agree, keep the character of historical buildings
Agree
This is a really cool place, but it blows my mind that for 9M, you can have a gorgeous ocean-view house in LA with a pool, hot tub, and huge backyard, or a mansion in Wyoming that spans a quarter of the state.
Who'd wanna move to Wyoming tho?
you are in the middle of the most expensive city in America, it's so expensive the project is gonna run you 2 gs a month and you are worried about 9 milly in noho lol
love this!! been in nyc just a week ago. ur videos always motivate me to study harder so i can eventually afford to live there one day :)
It's good to be motivated. But don't buy into grind culture too much. It also serves to not let you question systemic inequalities.
@@biggiesmartypants lol what?
@@zachbuchanan5109 Having aspiration is bullshit and won’t help you have a purpose in life. Wanting a better more fulfilling life filled with the things you want, the hobbies you want in the place you want and with the family you dreams won’t lead to happiness.
lmao some people are so bitter that they think they are clever. 🤣
I hope you can achieve what you want

The videos that Cash does are the preview to moving to NYC, on a realistic level. Erik your videos are the reason to move to the city and what one hopes to accomplish after being there ten to fifteen years....
Nice work and thanks for all the detail attention 🤩
I like that you keep it calm and reserved during the tours and the the loud false bravado personality of other people doing tours. Also thanks for adding the floor plan to help us follow the flow of the home.
This place sold the month this came out, the price dropped about $800k, to be expected now. The Indian or Asian-style doors&frame just jump out at 7:42 amid all that minimalism and white walls and expensive but plain commercial doors. Maybe they have a historical connection to the building. They are a breath of life in all that. But once you're in this place, one probably appreciates the minimalism, you put your things on the walls, have a few pieces here and there, it will look lived in. Person compared this to IKEA - I assure you, when you stand on those white oak floors and look down, you will know you're not in IKEA. I worked for some companies in the Financial District in a couple of old landmark buildings that have been redone, you have to be in it to appreciate it. The cedar, the white oak, the metals - you just can't get it across in a video.
this is a really good looking apartement. Windows that does not go all the way down to the floor is way better IMO than the floor to ceiling windows, and frosted glass on the shower doors is a nice touch
PS: the Tahoe house is beautiful too
Erik is back with an iconic apartment. I love it!
yessir!
Really like the spatial solution with the raised platform, and how the heater blends into it (at 1:35 ) to form a complete design, not a detatched clunky look made only for utility. The black wall beside the stairs is a truly impressive accent piece at whole interior.
Wow this was really interesting… a very grand space, yet it also felt kinda cozy! Great tour, Erik!
Love your loft properties brick walls, heights and just loved the windows !!! Erik is back with unique properties ❤️ you as a person inspire me for so long thank you 🙌🏼
thanks for that!
@@erikvanconover coming soon to NY would love to meet you and Brett ❤️

The woodwork and brick are absolutely elegant and terrific feature. The neutral colors are relaxing and give a calming aura. That staircase is a statement piece. The loft is simply made of quality. Another astonishing property in the NYC, thanks Erik
Wow! This place really kicks. So tastefully designed with a really cosy and modern touch. One of the loveliest places you've put on your channel in a while.
AGREED!
Cosy? Nah man it’s modern and cold
Woooow. This is maybe my favorite you’ve ever shown. A lot of great tangible inspiration at a lower budget too, so sick.
Love this kind of videos and also the more „realistic apartments“
I esp. Love the view in the second bedroom of the same scaffolding that covers 70 percent of all buildings in NYC. But of course this space is amazing and the finishes are flawless!!
Watch a great video

I moved to Long Island about 16 months ago. I was a Realtor in my previous state and got my NY license last fall. Got my first listing today! Not quite this nice, but it's a start.
well...I watched it twice, which means I really like this home..also it's in one my favorite old stomping grounds from back in the day...great tour Eric!.
Hello Eric, fantastic penthouse. Love this episode had to watch it twice.
I absolutely love your videos they are the best ! NYC videos are everything
Gorgeous place! The layout is so intelligent- very efficient use of space. Thank you so much for showing the toilets, too! I’m one of those who always votes to see everything! They are fancy-schmancy toilets all right! 👍🏼👌🏼
I love this apartment !
Does your family by any chance own pizza shop?
I love the uniqueness of this apartment! I could only dream of a kitchen like that!
OMG! I love it Erik. It's very well laid out and in a great neighbourhood. If I had that sort of money I'd buy it.
Love this. I work in Nyc and it’s good to see how the other side live.
Notice HOA fee's are never mentioned
I think that bedroom/office off the master bedroom would most likely be used as a nursery if the occupants had a small child or baby. Surprised you didn't think of that!
The mix of textures and dark and light framing with the exposed brick bring fresh visual stimulation at every turn. It’s a tiny bit drab in my opinion and could have used a bit more sheen like the accent wall and frames around the window Lighting and art would be key in an elegant apartment like this.
This is one of my favorite “Old New York” buildings on Manhattan.
Dream loft
In a lot of these luxury apartments, I really think they are beautiful and cool but too much over the top for me to want to live there. I know this is an enormous amount of money, but it felt luxury yet very homey. Amazing tour as always Erik
Something new a different to what we've recently seen. I like :)
I love the ceiling height and the amount of storage space.
This is a beautiful design ❤️wow. Thanks Erik
Wow! I fell in love with this apartment!
This is the best place I’ve seen in a long time and I’ve seen all your videos.
If it had a balcony/terrace overlooking cooper square it would be perfect.
the view from that bedroom..... WOW WOW WOW! love the curved windows in there.
Waaaaw,!!!, this is just perfection
I love that home. It's truly beautiful and $9 mil tastefully done so well. Wow! ✨✨✨😍✨✨✨
Great video appreciate the detail and the background history 👍🏿
Pretty nice. Twice as many rooms as I'd ever want. But the living area was pretty cool .
I love it! I am a fan of real wood and like the red brick, although it would have been nice to see more of it.
Wow. It's a huge beauty!
I love your videos bro!! Such great quality and effort in each and one of them
You really do an excellent job showing properties⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
first world problems: the curtain are down and cant be raised because the wifi is down, lol.
ERIK IS THE NEW GODFATHER OF REAL ESTATE OH YEAH 🥳❤️👏🏾❤️ AGAIN HE HAS SHOWN US ANOTHER BEAUTY
I never been to New York but, I love this architecture!
Dunno if its such a great idea to have your serverrack in the same room where you airdry your laundry
Billy Joel used to rent space in this building. He worked on some of his albums here.
i need that couch, I've been looking for it everywhere
Something about the brick walls it creates a certain feeling you can’t find anywhere else in the world
Love the apartment, great video Erik!
You can create that feeling anywhere they have red brick.
Which is most of the world.
Have you forgotten England is made off bricks lol, bricks are very common in Europe, if you haven't visited do it! :)
New York and Chicago have coolest lofts, wish we had more options like this in Canada
This is one of my favorite apartments that you have shown
Nice apartment, the concept of raised dining area is creative, but I would switch the position of dining table with the circular seating area near the entrance.. Should also minimize the white wall because exposed brick style iconic NYC loft is the way to go specially when it's snowing outside. ☕
Nice jeans. Showing off all the good parts
It's nice when outrageous wealth is actually paired with timeless, good taste.
"Scaffolding not permanent" LOL. Most stay up for years!!!
Yo Erik Conover , its Joe Spivey glad your doing well man ! Keep up the great work "to the top ☝
Just wondering if there is a lift or something to access the second floor? How could you do if you need to carry some heavy things to the 2nd floor?
Thanks for touring! Next time we need to see a bit more on Narnia.
😅
I love it! Historic in the outside, modern inside! Absolutely timeless!
Incredible Erik 🧜♂️
Eric, make an offer on it furnished! Perfect for someone your height!
I love to visit New York, but even more I love the fact I don't live there. Mortgage free in the country beats being committed to your eyeballs in the city.
The wooden door looks its from India. You often find such doors with beautiful carving for ancient/traditional homes there.
Man this is cool and all but I find it hard to believe that you could convince anyone that this is worth $9 million. You could buy a whole island with that kind of money!
Simply incredible 🥰
Looks like the façade used for Grace Adler Designs’ building
I was scrolling down to find this comment. So thank you!
Hi Erik I really love your videos ❤️🇿🇦
this looks like the apartment Denzel Washington's Character had in the move The Bone Collector. from the outside any ways
Very Zen except for the scaffolding outside......lol
To die for!
looks cold over there
Love love
You kinda seem like you don't enjoy touring real estate that much anymore. Whatever it is what you would like to do more of (especially New York related content) please do it
Seems like they didn’t know what to do on the second floor. I don’t think you can ever go wrong with more rooms. I certainly would prefer that over one large area.
A very nice space. A bit of a gut job but not total. The master suite would have to be completely re-organized. The most redeeming feature are the Narnia doors. If that atrocious painting was removed and replaced with a TV of equal size that would be incredible. The countertops have to all go including that raised and ridiculous curved breakfast bar. Red? I’m guessing someone was trying to make a statement in a completely beige room. Oh and that tiny in embedded TV in the bathroom. If you’re with jewelers glasses it would be great. I would think a simple radio would’ve been cheaper. One more thing. If you need Wi-Fi to open and close blinds what else in this unit goes down if the Wi-Fi is gone? I say again a very nice space just need a lot of work.
Every time I watch these tours of American properties, and see the bedrooms, I always ask myself - why so many pillows xD? Everyone I know here literally has two on bed (one for each person) or just a single one if it's a single bed.
I really have no idea how much my parents apartment in Gramercy Park would go for. Its been in the family sense the early 1900s.
It's on 4 floors with private elevator, a bit over 6000sf 5 bedroom 9 bathrooms, 5 balconies with keys to the park.
It's nothing like this though, it's a very old school NYC style in Art Deco. Full of the art my grandparents and parents collected over the last 120 years.
I pulled them from the city the beginning of covid, they won't be going back in this lifetime. It's just not that safe in the city at the moment. They are in there 80s now and much more active living on the ranch. In the city the only time they left the property was to go across the street to the park. I know they miss the doorman. He and his family are visiting for the week of Christmas this year.
Wow man now this is it!
I like the modern phones!
This Is most definitely worth every penny.
Would love to hear some of the history
Not sure about a laundry / server room! Can't see any issues there
I’m surprised that this place is only $9mil. If you told me it was $40mil I’d have believed it. It’s stunning.
this is a very great home!!!with a very great prcie
I would expect a major discount with that awful scaffolding. Temporary or not it’s such an eyesore!
Watch a great video

Not a big fan of NY apartment living but this is really nice.
when will you do a vlog?
Interesting. Liked the video. Wanted to see the place. Of course. It was sold. One month after this video was published and for $1 million less than the ask.
Gives me an “airport hotel” feeling…don’t like it very much
Out of your budget as well I guess 😂😂
I'm taking your username I like kinda like
Beautiful Apt. is it me, are does he seem subdued in this video?
Danish Design furniture, would make the home even more beautiful.
stunning place!
Erik let me work for you. Don’t care I just love how you present yourself and the properties. I could learn something.
What's the monthly HOA on this loft? $20K?
*Erik looks so buff and beautiful in that turtleneck omg*
What's behind the adorned door? Is it a closet?
