To be fair, that’s a very different neighborhood. This is the east side, and you were living on the west side. Far more street noise and congestion over there.

Yes. Stunning views of old dirty buildings, crowded and loud streets, and a skyscraper if you stick your head way out over a ledge. But I guess that is what people who live in New York want and love. If New Yorkers were stuck in an adobe, timber, and natural stone home on 10 acres high in the mountains of Northern New Mexico surrounded by giant Ponderosa pines and mountain peaks that reach up to 10,000 feet, with the closest neighbor being at least a mile away and surrounded by a quietness so profound that you can hear a single woodpecker pecking away on a 300-year-old pinon tree, they would hate it. Different ways of living for different folks does make life very interesting. And that is a good thing. Great video. Love it. Thank you for your excellent work. This is a fun website. Am looking forward to more, from far away up here in those mountains.

Never seen elevator open stright into the flat. Does it ever malfunction and you find a stranger just standing in your living room? Nah I would want another layer of security/door
Where is the finance as displayed through words in channel description ? I searched hard to find a finance related content. There are only walks. The content resonates more with Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interiors and City Walk. Well still a subscribe.
I stayed in the hotel that is next to this building. It was particularly interesting that at night the noise wasn’t that bad, even though the building is in Lexington/23th street. I would definitely buy this apartment.
So what happens if two people in two separate units get on elevator at same time? Will the one on higher floor stop at the apartment on lower floor & see into their unit? That’s a bit odd
@@WalksWallStreet yes that makes perfect sense. Thanks for clarifying and …. CHEERS mate! Yes a canopy over partial patio + a hot tub would be nice. I’d run vines up the wall w/ strand lighting
Two huge bathrooms and a commodious walk-in closet, but then the 2nd bedroom can’t accommodate an adult-sized bed?? Durrr! It’s literally a waste of space.
Apartment looks amazing!! I just had a few basic questions. So the private elevator directly opens up on the living room? Does that mean anyone can come in? Anytime of the day? As long as they have access to the building. Could be folks living on the other floors as well?
Holy s…. 3 years ago I owned a 5 acre retreat with its only 1 acre lake with redwoods plus rolling greens that rivaled a golf course. In California. For 1/3rd of the price. 2300 sq foot home. People must really love being surrounded by masses of other people. Nice place though.
It is NOT a railroad design. Railroad layout means there are no hallways; you have to walk through a room to get to the next room. This apartment has a long hallway, therefore...
I know you're just doing a job, and the video quality is gorgeous. But...$2.5 MILLION dollars for a railroad unit with no doorman, no gym, no pool or anything? Right next to the street? I get that this is NYC, but that's utterly insane.
The Narrator SAID every occupant got their own dedicated elevator. But, it looked to me as if all 16 floors shared a single elevator. If two occupants got to the lobby at the same time, is the first one to get to the elevator supposed to expect that they would get the exclusive use of the elevator, while the other party would wait in the lobby for the elevator to become available for them to get exclusive use of it? Just like the front door I think occupants used their fobs to get the elevator to open for them. We saw the narrator press "2". For security shouldn't the elevator only allow an occupant to go to their floor? So, if your neighbor, or your neighbors guest, gets in the elevator with you, thinking they can press the number for their elevator, will they find that, after letting you off at your floor they have to return to the lobby to use their fob to get exclusive use of the elevator for them?

I lived on 29th street and Park Avenue where the Gansevoot hotel was once and I loved walking down 1 block to Little India 🇮🇳 on 29th & Lexington to get yummy Indian/Pakistani food.
