Maybe the q60t is different to the q70t as I have HDR. And the stand wasn't as good on the q70a. And I actually saw that there was less HDMI ports to the q70t. 75 inch q70t I bought was amazing. I couldn't justify the price of the A when the specs were essentially the same. They both had HDR. I think the one difference I saw was the menu (which not too do fussed on...I came from an original Sony Android TV lol it was getting sloooow with the menu) So yeah if you can get the q70t get that. But with the 60 maybe you should go with the q60a...
This is why Tech Steve's reviews are so relevant, because the test are Functional test. By that I mean he doesn't get into deep technical stuff because a lot of those things are nothing more than selling points, buzz words etc. Put the two sets side by side and let us, the consumer decide.
I swear this dudes review is the best when it comes to Tv. I was almost making a decision on the Q60T but the city high rise video made my decision swap to the Q60A. I will definitely enjoy my gaming on this. Thanks Steve!!!
The exact two models I am considering buying, so many thanks! Definitely the Q60A for me simply on the increased brightness and the thiness, plus here in Europe the price difference between the two is only about €150 (euro), so for me a no brainer. There would have to be about a €250+ saving to push me towards the Q60Tthat. The only upside of the Q60T here is, that it comes with a 10 year 'no screen staining' guarantee', but no mention of that guarantee with the Q60A. I'm hoping whatever technology they used on the 2020 model carried over to the 2021 model. I say that as the reason I'm changing TV is due to Purple screen staining on my existing 5 yr old Samsung. Great video Steve, thanks for helping me decide!

I just bought last years model and found out about this years model when I got home. I’m going to return it and grab the newer model instead! Great review video glad I stumbled across it.
Great review. Just got the Q60T 65" but the housing on the back was loose. Best Buy didn't have a replacement and talked me into upgrading to the Q60A. Even before comparing the pictures in your video, I thought the Q60T had a dark picture when I got it. They look so bright at the store.
Thanks a bunch. Still torn but some of the things you pointed out gave me more to consider. I enjoy the brighter picture in the Q60A and the fact that it’s thinner. But I like the fact that the Q60T has the old cable plug ins (I still have a VCR) and remote batteries that can still be manually replaced. Decisions, decisions…. I don’t really game and just want it to watch TV, so I’m leaning more towards the Q60T.
Q60T owner here, bought mine a few months ago when they were clearing them out, Couldn't be happier with this TV. Really responsive for gaming and the colors and blacks are outstanding. You will be very happy with either imho but man the colors really pop on the Q60T in real life.

Amazing review, I ordered the Samsung HW Q60T a couple days ago and I am waiting for that to arrive, and I thought that I might as well upgrade my TV some time the upcoming months as well, so I obviously thought about the fitting TV which was the Q60T, lovely to see that they already have a new model that seems quite a bit slicker in design, and the higher brightness will make a good difference as well for not much of an upprice! Luckily both are amazing though lol.
@@TechSteve thanks for the response! I agree. But one thing if we compare between 43" of both variants, frame comes with one connect box which is more useful in connectivity if we mount on the wall, also little cheaper compared to q60a. @@seymourh5555 so great. Only concern I have is with the apps available on the store. So limited. Since it's tizen, I guess it goes for all Samsung TVs.
Excellent video Steve. There definitely are some things about the A series that I like better, first having a rechargable remote control... why isn't this the standard? I mean the solar panel probably won't do much but still not having to swap out batteries ever is kind of a nice thing as the rechargable battery (I'm guessing lithium) will outlast the TV most likely. I do have to say the A also looks bright, but that may not necessarily be a good thing, on the one test with the black and white checker board the T series blacks looked so dark compared to the A series, and the PS5 racing game you start with everything just looks too bright not enough dark contrast to really make things pop, not sure if this was due to your camera settings though. Overall I think the question I now have is... should I spend a little more and go for the Q70 🤣🤣🤣
one of the best comparison videos I've seen. I did choose the new model as I like the picture a whole lot better. My concern might be in the audio but the tv will be in a home office that is roughly 11x15 jroom. The tv will be wall mounted in a corner and be hung corner wise and not flush to the wall. So I dont know if a sound bar can be added since its caddy corner. Open to your thoughts on this. Can I live with just the tv audio.

1. Were any of the settings changed or just out of the box factory? 2. Is it just me or did it look like the motion on the q60t looked better during the game play with the red porche?
Steve excellent job 👏, I would like to watch movies and q60t seems more pleasing for my eyes, besides colors are more natural on q60t rather than the new model. Thickness is not crucial for me. Samsung has a tu8500 model in Europe and have ever checked and comparing q60t? I wonder that 55xh8096 colors are better than 55tu8500 or 55qt60 for movies and TV streaming because my main purpose to use this new TV set for the small room for macbook monitor and note 10+ samsung dex , so as a result of those movie and computer monitor considerations what do you propose? Hey Steve, Thanks for the great review. I noticed you said Multiview is a new addition for the Q60A. However in the UK the Samsung website states that the Q60T comes with Multiview. Any ideas?
I bought this last weekend the Q90T 75", I choose this TV over the more expensive Neo QLED Q85A, I save myself 700 dollars, picture Quality is similar, I believe again That last year models are better, but the Neo QLED technology is nice, once again brightness is the difference 16 HDR, vs 32 HDR but other than that the TVS are very similar.
Dear Steve, my we are a home of 5 people age 3, 28, 33, 61 and 68. Watch tv mostly during day with lot of day light. May purchase a gaming console for the kid in 4-5 yrs time. I think Samsung q60a 2021 is ideal. Do you think the same? Open for suggestion from others also.
Watched this video and went to Best Buy immediately after work to grab the Q60A for my living room. This video was very informative and provided the details I needed in order for me to make this purchase.
@@TechSteve When you showed the hdr content with the city skyline at night, the Q60A really shined. It was noticeably brighter with more detail in the dark scenes. 😍
I bought the Q60T Back in November, I believe that last year model Q60T, is still better than the new model Q60A, I have noticed that the price on some of last year models the Q series 60,70,80,90 has not been lowered yet, in some cases the Q60A, and rest of the series, has the the same price tags, or sometimes lower than last year model, I was hoping that the Neo QLED introduction was going to lower the price tags on this TVS but is not the case.
Great video, you touched on all the important items i needed to know, ended up buying a 75" Q60A, great over all at an entry level TV. I am very happy, only wish Samsung would get off the Tizan kick. would have been so much better. I am a Samsung geek, have all the gadgets , just hate Tizan/ Bixby going to be there down fall.
Thanx Steve. Funny I bought the Q70T 65" may 2020. It died, Samsung came in and said they will exchange it. So back to Best Buy and upgraded with store credit to the 65" Q70A. Will leave my thoughts in a week!!

2. Is it just me or did it look like the motion on the q60t looked better during the game play with the red porche?
yes I saw it too I think the Q60t much better motion based on my opinion
Steve excellent job 👏, I would like to watch movies and q60t seems more pleasing for my eyes, besides colors are more natural on q60t rather than the new model. Thickness is not crucial for me. Samsung has a tu8500 model in Europe and have ever checked and comparing q60t? I wonder that 55xh8096 colors are better than 55tu8500 or 55qt60 for movies and TV streaming because my main purpose to use this new TV set for the small room for macbook monitor and note 10+ samsung dex , so as a result of those movie and computer monitor considerations what do you propose? My main TV is sony 65xf9005. Sorry for my long comments, thank you for your understanding

I appreciate it
Q60A for me! Looks sweet and that remote !
Yeah but you are loosing sound quality.
@@darkwowpg well I ended up getting the Q70a it’s really sweet, who uses the TV speakers I have a 7.2 surround sound system
@@DropAGearDisappearEverybody that i know. Some have headphones but usually everybody uses tv speakers.
does q60a,q60t support Dolby Atmos ?
@@rajeshpapani Yeah but not dolby vision.
Hey Steve, Thanks for the great review. I noticed you said Multiview is a new addition for the Q60A. However in the UK the Samsung website states that the Q60T comes with Multiview. Any ideas?
The United States model didn’t have it
@@TechSteve Ok, I'll let you know when it arrives! I've ordered the Q60T as I needed the component connection.
Congratulations
You are excellent. Thank you for the video. You, my friend, just got a new subscriber.
Thanks 👍🏽
I bought this last weekend the Q90T 75", I choose this TV over the more expensive Neo QLED Q85A, I save myself 700 dollars, picture Quality is similar, I believe again That last year models are better, but the Neo QLED technology is nice, once again brightness is the difference 16 HDR, vs 32 HDR but other than that the TVS are very similar.
Q90T is worse. Local dimming is limited severely
Did you experience any dead pixels in both TVs..?
Great work Steve! But i have a small question! Would the remote from Q60A work with the Q60T model ?
Yes
Amazing! Thank you so much for your answer! ❤️ Greetings from 🇪🇬
Are these TVs VA panels
how do I just get to NBC or CBs channel 2 and 4?
Cable series, if you’re using an antenna you might not be a coverage area
Are you going to get the series x and will you be doing a video on it?
Sorry but the answer is no, there’s hundreds of gaming channels out there,
Dear Steve, my we are a home of 5 people age 3, 28, 33, 61 and 68. Watch tv mostly during day with lot of day light. May purchase a gaming console for the kid in 4-5 yrs time. I think Samsung q60a 2021 is ideal. Do you think the same? Open for suggestion from others also.
The q60a will be a great TV for most people
I know this off topic but is the un7000 65inch a ips panel or a va
Did you know i have a lg playlist ua-cam.com/play/PLes1slIzAYk1gHuYPi79wFF1sD30Bw58h.html
I haven't got a TV yet
What do you advise me to buy q60t or q60a ?
"Both devices are the same price in my country"
Great review, did you calibrate the Q60T? Or can you share the settings for it.
This video was at factory standard settings
@@TechSteve that’s great. Thanks. Somehow I feel your Q60T has better contrast
Watched this video and went to Best Buy immediately after work to grab the Q60A for my living room. This video was very informative and provided the details I needed in order for me to make this purchase.
Let me know how you like it
The new remote is looking like a must have lol. Where did you cop those lamps?
I got the lamps at walmart then i put $160 light bulbs in them lol amzn.to/3wRXaSe
Which one should I buy between q60a and au9070?
The newer model is brighter, but the older model has richer colors to me. The older model also seem to have deeper blacks.😕
It's a trade off of loosing details that people complain about on Netflix HDR content.
Does the Q60A remote work with the Q60T?
Q60A would be my choice, do you know if that older remote, the standard samsung remote works with the q60a? excellent comparison btw
Yes
Thanks Mr. Steve, can the panel support higher Hz at lower resolutions?
60hz max
@@TechSteve thx Mr Steve
Great video, you touched on all the important items i needed to know, ended up buying a 75" Q60A, great over all at an entry level TV. I am very happy, only wish Samsung would get off the Tizan kick. would have been so much better. I am a Samsung geek, have all the gadgets , just hate Tizan/ Bixby going to be there down fall.
It’s buggy for sure, i use a 4K Roku and a 4K Google TV on all off my TVs so i can use the apps I like.
Hi sir tech steve, what model will replace tu8000?
AU8000
@@Sejuani89 thanks my good man
good videos can you review the 2021 q70a and q80a please
I don’t have those TVs nor the budget at this time. TechSteveSD.com
amazing video!
Are you planning to review the Samsung Neo QLEDS and the the LG QNED mini led tv?
Not many LGs videos right now. The Samsung Soon Neo soon. It’s take along time for each video so I’m choosing carefully.
@@TechSteve understandable You do a great job with your videos. Keep it up. Sounds good can’t wait. Just for future reference
Absolutely love this review, & the music at the end is soo relaxing & I've the new model 2021
Thanks 🙏🏽
Thanx Steve. Funny I bought the Q70T 65" may 2020. It died, Samsung came in and said they will exchange it. So back to Best Buy and upgraded with store credit to the 65" Q70A. Will leave my thoughts in a week!!
Buy the Sony x900h or even the q60r. Both are better than the q70 and you’ll save a lot of money!😁
OK had the TV for a few days and it blows the q60T away!! It's really night and day difference. Brighter clearer. Love it
Great to hear
