After the season 4 finale, I thought it would be fun to go back through the other videos and find out the real scores in each to see if Ryan actually won any. This will be focused on the points won during the questions only, not the extra points the professor gives out willy-nilly. Actual Score: Ryan had 3 points and Zach had kinda 1, I say that because the only point he kinda earned was from his pretty saxophone drawing and not from correctly answering anything. Beef boy was the winner.
i didn't want to "spoil" the series for myself (because for some reason it took me nearly two years to watch this), so i've gotten to the end of this episode from watching in order in like three days, but i caved ten minutes ago and finally looked it up on the wiki. apparently ryan should've won several times throughout the series by now, and some of the comments on this video suggest that your attitude towards the song are 100% of how the winner is chosen, and we all know ryan doesn't react well to them, others have posited it's payback for ryan suggesting aliens, and one person even said that the professor just wants to keep ryan around because if he wins, he'll be replaced and the professor has grown to enjoy his company. however, with no way to know right now, this will remain... unsolved.

My boyfriend was very upset that The Professor missed out on a chance to call them a couple of "C Dogs"
Serious props to Shane and the Professor for always picking the coolest subjects to teach us. You have no idea how much I appreciate not just the production value of this show, but the stuff I'm learning also. It's incredible. Thank you so much to Shane, the Professor, and everyone else involved with this show and helping making it happen each week. ily.
Living for the fact that this show doesn’t just tell “white” history. History is so diverse and we hardly get to see it!
Yes exactly !!!
Right? We love to see it
I'll drink to that
Definitely, I love the way they choose and present the material, it's a breath of fresh air compared to all the other history shows that just talk about the same old dead white men over and over
And it’s something positive for that minority. That doesn’t happen often in American history classes.
ryan getting more and more sad when getting jelly beans bc he knows he gon loose anyway is just sad :(
“Where the details are a little fuzzy”
Ryan: these points are a little fuzzy
I love how Zack was so pure and wanted Ryan to get some jelly beans! Try guys/Watcher crossover episodes are the bomb.
Beef boy was the winner.
i didn't want to "spoil" the series for myself (because for some reason it took me nearly two years to watch this), so i've gotten to the end of this episode from watching in order in like three days, but i caved ten minutes ago and finally looked it up on the wiki. apparently ryan should've won several times throughout the series by now, and some of the comments on this video suggest that your attitude towards the song are 100% of how the winner is chosen, and we all know ryan doesn't react well to them, others have posited it's payback for ryan suggesting aliens, and one person even said that the professor just wants to keep ryan around because if he wins, he'll be replaced and the professor has grown to enjoy his company.
however, with no way to know right now, this will remain... unsolved.

@@LivingMyLife22 ive been looking for your beans after finding them once on the scores and it makes me feel achieved to see one from 2 days ago finally
@@fenglade lol This comment made my day, im rewatching all the episodes in order and so far ive been able to find @archerowl’s comment in each one and leave beans. I hope you come across more too
@@LivingMyLife22oh they’re beans??? I literally thought you were leaving a hot dog/sausage emoji on these comments. 😅
Ok but professor's lil guitar and his solo was SO FRICKING CUTE ASJKJSKJSJKS
I wanted to like the comment, but its already at 69 likes ;-;
THE PROFESSOR PLAYING THE GUITAR IS THE BEST THING IVE EVER SEEN
The fact that the Professor is a Harry Styles stan is everything to me
same omg
yes yes yes
missed the perfect opportunity to say “i don’t eat peasants anymore, i eat the rich now” LMAO
Yes.
the poet, poking lighthearted but excessive fun at ziryab: hey haha you're a funny guy and you make for great material
the amir, comforting ziryab: you HURT ziryab? you laugh at him like the studio audience? oh! oh! jail for the poet!!! jail for the poet for a thousand years!!!!!!
I love the inclusiveness of this season!!! I hope some LGBT history is thrown in too!
In fairness, this one IS kinda LGBT history.
Also the samurai Musashi is sometimes believed to be gay or asexual or just straight no one knows for sure
Edit: Also Abe Lincoln was bisexual and Issac Newton is believed to either have been homosexual or asexual and they were both the topics of previous videos.
The Prof would have a TIME talking about Sappho!
Well this guy was definitely fruity
Idk, unless you're just gonna talk about people in history who happened to be gay, which isn't relevant to most of their lives, then LGBT history is kinda boring. Few good stories but like, why do we care about what race and sexuality people are when it doesn't impact who they are and what they did??? Reading the comments on this video, it sounds like Americans are only taught about the history of people who are white. Do you guys seriously not learn anything about African/Arabic/Asian historical figures and events?
Is this Shane’s payback for the years of being Ryan’s sidekick on Unsolved?
Specifically all the times Ryan brought aliens or the paranormal into it. 😂
It's for the times Ryan kept him up all night when ghost hunting
I would pay attention in school so much more if The Professor was my teacher.
Why is no one talking about The Professor playing the guitar? It’s so cute
There were 3 hands at this point as well!! Maybe Obi’s helping out lol
I literally screamed when the Professor show up playing the guitar!!! He is so cutee!!!
I adore the professor and ryan's relationship. they keep getting more and more hostile while the guest goes to get the prize. how long until we hear about them on true crime?
I don't think they threatened to fight each other this time.
I love how the professor is trying his best with Arabic names
Love it so much
I’m generally impressed that he does obviously attempt to get foreign names right.
So no one's gonna talk about how Ryan and the Professor went on a Starbucks date
@@englishatheart this
Timestamp???
I love that Ryan matter of factly suggests the door was actually a gloryhole 😂
We're just gonna ignore the fact that those two girls clearly wrote all the music?
I was thinking the same thing
Unfortunately we are
RIGHT?? that was all i thought about during that scene, to add on that: it wouldnt be too far fetched to say that they could write their on songs and present them to ziryab the next morning as if they were songs he wrote in his drunken stupor without him questioning it-- truly ghizlan and hunayda deserve far more credit
That’s the way most big “artists” do it now.
Right? They probably took his drunken melodies and made them better.
We need to talk about the fact that that lion tamer was canonically female, and therefore apparently bisexual. And that's the kind of female representation we need. Casual drunken stupor booze-dream representation any day!
@deri ikr it's annoying lol
@deri
...Did you even listen to the song? 🤡🤡
The beast of Gevaudan: I’m vegan now!
Also the beast: I paired it with some cheese empanadas.
Who’s going to tell him.
BAHAHAHA
Maybe it's a vegan empanada? 🤷🏼♀️
But then he also mentioned going out to wander the fields soooooo
I noticed that as well lmao the least he is is vegetarian
Vegan cheese is a thing
They could be vegan cheese empanadas! I looked it up and apparently they do exist.
literally was like lets watch all of puppet history for the 20th time, but instead I find a new episode (with KornDiddy) Im so happy.
Ryan saying "you should think of me as your true south" was such a mood.
This is one of those videos where you don't realize how much they swear until you try showing one of your parents
Yes while I do love it I’m
Also sad wishing they had censored versions bleeped so I could watch them with my 12 year old son because I know he would enjoy some of these.
professor is the only celebrity that will forever remain unproblematic
Don’t jinx it
I dunno man, there’s something shady going on with that genie
@@autumn4467 they may have beef, but at least it’s not public Twitter beef
[edit] that was very stupid of me to say. I somehow forgot about his and Ryan’s Twitter beef
Let’s hope he never turns into a milkshake duck
I think Ryan will disagree with you lol but by comparison that is true.
i don't know if i've EVER laughed as hard as i did about zach's voice getting higher and higher as he shrank. GOD-TIER EDITING!
i live for ryan and the professor's passive aggressive conversations after someone else wins
Zach and the professor both saying “oh, they’re fucking” at the same time makes me laugh every single time
This is genuinely one of my favorite episodes of Puppet History. Zach, Ryan and the Professor bounce off of each other to make a hilariously entertaining episode. Also the song is constantly stuck in my head but that's neither here nor there
I love them acting as if Zach couldn't hear them with his WIRELESS ear buds.
Actually they can connect via bluetooth which computers have ^^ so it's not exactly a clear doubt
“Ryan thanks for Tryan” needs to be on a shirt at this point 😂
we love acknowledging poc and their contributions to the world of rock music, hell yea
Is nobody going to mention how that was literally just a Beatles song? lol.
And Paul wrote songs from his dreams too. Starting to see some parallels. No wonder Ziryab was so famous, he was the first Beatle.
ziryab was Kurdish from Iraq he the one who add the kurd scale you liberal turned him to blak african to give your afrocentric historical favors
the oud keeps saying peace and love so it's making me think it's specifically Ringo starr
Ryan is literally becoming the Batman quote “ you either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain” 😂😂😂
Being from Morocco and seeing people handle Oud as if it’s guitar is quite hilarious. Oud is elegant.
oh....is it held like cello?
Actually I’m super curious too, how is it held?
And being a tunisian im so happy we even got mentioned for a moment there . 😂
Close enough as you have to sit down..put it on one knee and only your right arm should hold it.
Playing it as if you’re jimmy page is just not how it goes.
@@azrael1316 Ah I see! I learned something new :D
Now all we need is Eugene and Ned to be apart of the puppet history who agree with me that Eugene and Ned need to be in puppet history
I can see Eugene and Ryan having the same energy, and it would awesome!
Eugene is gonna guess the worst possible answers and get the highest amount of points in puppet history
@@user-xp3by3ye5k As he should!
@@user-xp3by3ye5k Yes, because Eugene wins everything 😂
Oh it will happen eventually. Maybe we can get a cool Korean history tale and ned might get a story about the origins of football? xD
Ok but zach trying to cheer ryan up with that cute lil smiley face was so adorable my heart cant take it OMG
So glad you guys handle non-European history. My high school really prioritized European history. Asian, African, Native American, and South American History only got mentioned in the context of interactions with Europe.
