Going back and rewatching after the first episode of season 5. The professors comment on a new fun version of himself hits different now.
“I hope I’m a little bigger cause I can’t reach most things.” As a short person, I felt that. 😩 Also, low key feel like this season is a fever dream that the professors having because the genie finally found him.
Wait, is that why Ryan is so nice now?
I feel like the professor being small is a jab at Shane being tall and lanky XD
@@riakaty1979 I
Are you the size of a time traveling hand puppet tho?
@@ulrikahaggard9923 Depends on how tall everyone else is, cause I could be to some. 😆 Without the time traveling part.😅
The editing on this episode was amazing. "Ryan Bergara: A guy who says stuff like this" had me in stitches
The professor is back!! The only class I’ll stop everything to watch
Agree
Agreed.
Same
I think this proves how keeping people wanting to pay attention helps them learn more. Like 100000%
@@itsalaynnaguys it's called intrinsic motivation and is the level of motivation you need to aspire in your students in order for them to learn the most!
"Just my fuzzy little feet" is going to be my response to 'who are you wearing?' if I am ever in the unlikely event of being on a red carpet x
"*Who* are you wearing?"
All the genie lore makes me miss the hot daga. 😭
I'm happy for Shane and Ryan and proud of them for branching out from buzzfeed unsolved but Maizey was the wlw representation I needed lmaoo
I am convinced that Ryan is possessed by the Genie and this whole "nice" and "friendly" act is a distraction to confuse the Professor. And when the Professor has gotten comfortable with this new Ryan, the Genie will finally have his revenge.
THIS. Although I’m more of the idea that Ricki has wrestled control and him and the genie have a pact to take down the Professor via Ricki gaining his trust
Or Ryan made a deal with the genie to get back at the Professor. He's clearly pained at times while playing along, but it's needed for the con
Having Ryan within reaching distance to the Professor has never felt so alarming.
Why is no one talking about how cute the professor’s sneeze was? *achu*
my heart (*≧∀≦*)
*bangs chest*
Man I loved Ify's energy and what he brought to this episode, would love to see him back next season! I'm over here cracking up between him and Ryan 🤣
8:16 omg the foreshadowing!!!!
In all seriousness, Shane does an amazing job bringing these characters to life and staying in character. Great job Shane!
Shane is in this?
@@its.martin1125 I heard he's the professor's assistant
@@lizblablabla He holds small fiji water for The Professor when the musical guests are performing.
@@its.martin1125 I heard he’s the Professor’s makeup artist.
at this point i just desperately want ryan to win one time, poor man deserves it at this point (cries with ryan's therapist)
Ryan’s dead eyed smile at the end gave me chills. He accepts the outcome, but at what cost?
@Yukia 💕🤤 omg your everywhere
I have a feeling the end of the season will be Ryan snapping and the professor finally getting his ass beat
The fact that the professor was reborn and also bigger so he can reach things better is such a fun way to wrap up this one episode
The Professor is so adorable I’m gonna lose it. His fuzzy little puppet feet and his little puppet sneeze 🥺
This guy used to be the richest man ever, then Ryan and Shane found the treasure of Forrest Fenn and left him in the dust
Shhhh! They DIDN’T! ✨wink✨
This was probably funnier in your head, because this is kind of racist.
@@Nefepants how is this racist? Genuine question
@@Nefepants literally how. in what way is this discriminating against someone
@@Nefepants how????????? Nothing about that was racist
I CANT wait for Ryan to fucking just lose his mind at the season finale. I want to see chaos from this man.
I want Watcher to do like some of the Japanese Wrestling and have a Professor/Ryan throwdown,
ryan’s gonna lose it, just like he did looking for la llorna
If the Professor is actually gonna be teaching an entire class about World History, I'd never go absent ever again, ditch the handsome and beautiful ones, we've got the Professor
(edit: i meant the handsome and beautiful ones means real people who teach us in school, ngl in my experience only a few are really good teaching like this interesting, and Shane's character on take of the professor is hooking me :3)
Are you saying the professor isn't handsome and beautiful? 👀
Between this and Tasting History (Max is a cutie) I’ve learned SO MUCH the past year. More than my high school and college history courses combined. Legit.
Implying the professor isn't handsome and beautiful
Rotten jellybean for you
@@Luan-st2gb lmaooo 400 million rotten jelly beans 😡😡😡😡
The Professor is a handsome lad don't be mean to him
It's unreal how little attention this man gets in modern times. The dude was an absolute alpha
We should protect him from the incels lest they alter his memory to some shitty "inspirational" instagram dude
Ryan having an existential crisis at the influx of jellybeans he earned is the peak of the episode 😂 and Ify seems a cool guy to spend time with, with awesome dance moves! Thanks for the history lesson as always Professor!
Ryan called the professor 'friend' twice at the beginning got me thinking about is "YOU'RE MY FRIEND!" for the entire video
ify's genuine "woah" when the chest of gold popped up was adorable i love him
WHO said we don't want to hear about the genie. I, personally, NEED to know more of the genie Lore
I've felt so baited the past two episodes with questions feeling like the perfect setup to reference the genie, but it doesn't happen. :(
as someone who has been taught history in british schools my whole life i love that this show covers important figures/events from other cultures without the bias you get in the education i've been receiving. i love history and i think this kind of representation is soooooo important. thank you watcher
shane should become a voice actor, he is so good at doing different voices and he can sing.
"The Richest Man Who Ever Lived"
Oh sweet an episode about Ryan's therapist!
In my sophomore year history class we were all obsessed with this man I am so excited
Oh cool:)
Ready for a season of puppet history with absolutely “no lore”
8:18 oh my god, the foreshadowing.
at 8:21 in the video the professor says “maybe at some point i’ll transform into an exciting new version of myself” INDICATING THAT THE PROFESSOR ISNT ACTUALLY DEAD HES JUST GONNA TRANSFORM
The look on Ryan's face after he didn't win... Ryan is gonna strangle the Professor. Lmao!
He acts as if he’s lost for the first time. The numbers speak for themselves!
Lol Shane's anticapitalist sentiment is really showing in the treasure-chest's song lol
@Olivia Bailey (student) I mean...we all support capitalism to survive, even if we disagree with it...
@Olivia Bailey (student) Well, unless you're literally a hermit producing your own food and living without outside interference, you're contributing to capitalism in one way or another. Doesn't mean you can criticise it while you're in it lol.
@Olivia Bailey (student) You can still create a company and be anti-capitalist. Mind blowing, I know.
@@jnnlyne no, you can’t lol
I don't know which I love more: watching The Professor's takes on topics I already know about, or learning about topics I've never heard of before, like this one, in the most fun way possible.
Awesome. Love the multicultural breadth of this series. Much needed. I'd also like to hear about the Mughal emperor who's fleet from mecca back to India was partly attacked and robbed by that American pirate leading to the largest pirate booty of all time and it was only a small part of the sea caravan's riches. I know a little about that story being a huge pirate fan but it just made me that much more curious about Indian history in general and also that particular Mughal emperor.
Someone has a gun to Ryan's back this episode, he's way too nice
Maybe he's sick?
its ricky goldsworth
The professor’s sneeze was the cutest thing I’ve ever seen!
Ok, going out on a limb here, but what if the professor is accidentally destroying reality and the glitches are a showcase of that? Also the genie might be trying to stop him by making him unwish his remaining wishes. Which begs the question. What did the professor also wish for?
Also can we talk about that "Papa, I want a jellybean" in the Affair of the Poisons episode where Ryan asked The Professor whether he had killed his family or not? Is that related to his wish to the genie?
I was able to pause at the glitch, it looked to be the Molasses horse burning. Maybe in a form of Hell? Or maybe Boston burning down due to the flood?
The hope repeatedly dimmed away from Ryan's eyes everytime the Professor gave Ify more points
Why is the Professor putting his wittle foot up the cutest thing I've ever seen
8:16 Foreshadowing! Man shane puts a lot of thought into this series
I love how Ryan is nice and then everyone is automatically sus of him
"I'd disappear some people"
@@recoil53 I hear your point and totally get it now
Yeah. A name
Ricky Goldsworth
Not gonna lie when Ify went to smell the professor's fuzzy foot I half expected him to say the professor smelled like jelly beans
Like, that's gotta be his eau de parfum, "Fèves à la Gelée"
i have no idea what's going on lore-wise so i'm just gonna vibe until shit hits the fan 😎✨
If this isn't the biggest mood through out the series then I don't what is.
There was another glitch during the puppet TV section. The first was during the Professor's infomercial in the last video.
This episode was so much fun, Ify was a delight. Looking forward to Shane doing Latin American history at some point (maybe Incas!)
Yes! Lets bring Ify back!!
Congrats on being reborn a little bigger, Professor McNasty! 🎉
