Revenge of the Sith (PS2) Alternate Ending - Anakin Kills Obi-Wan - Ігри
Chaos is a walking W❤
They got beerus reviewing star wars games lmao 😂
@@jotahhh yes tyna see if i wanna destroy this planet or not so for you guys are in the clear
I was totally hoping that they would remastered this, and jedi outcast 1 and 2!!
Don't Forget about the 1v1 duel mode! I think they had something there.
SWTOR Will have me a thousand subscribers by the end of the week let's go
Bro, ain't nobody gonna forget about the masterpiece that is Revenge Of The Sith
Isn’t that damm truth
I love this game so much back on the ps2 used to play it every damm day when I got home
Me and the homie were literally playing this last week Cin drallig my boi
I managed to until now, but to be fair I've probably played two thousand additional games since.
Bro, The Phantom Menace looks like a masterpiece compared to the Sequels
I like the way they expanded all the missions completely ignoring canon just for the sake of more gameplay
Well not exactly. This game came out before the movie, and a lot of the differences you see were actually in older cuts and scripts for the movie. The original script had a runtime of practically 4 hours.
ALOT of the early mission at the start of the game when they're on the invisible hand are all deleted scenes that were meant to make it in to the movie. There's a deleted scene of Shaak ti being killed by Grevious and Anakin and Obi wan escape by cutting through the group showing them end up in the location of mission 2 i think its the engine room off the top of my head but yeah have a look they're all on UA-cam its crazy how much they cut
@@MeGongaga1999They should have leave the old script in different ROTS movie and said the true or alternate outcome
I just regret that the campaign mode didn't include Episode II. It would have made a longer game. Then you add Bonus levels for Episode I.
PS2/Xbox game Superman Returns did the same thing. Basically to the point of a totally new storyline lol
Anakins scream when he dies in multiplayer will forever be in my head
Same 😂😂
Aaaahhhh
I once recreated that scream myself when I was at kindergarten, and some kid told me it sounded cool 😎
Sounds like he just stepped barefoot into a puddle of unidentified fluid.
AAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh
i remember playing this on the ps2 , one of my favorite games ever
I have it digitally on my PS3
If you had it on Xbox you could play through backwards compatibility. Sucks for you
@@westhoodqualzini7884yup I still play it using my old disc now on the series X
I played it on the original xbox 😊
@@budgiecat2885awww dude, that's so cool, how'd you do that? 😮
Imagine if they remastered this
One can only hope 🙏🏼
It's 4K on Xbox one X and Series X and it's literally on the Xbox store
@@destroyermcw626doesn’t count
@@chasethechosenone8478 I know just wanted to say it’s all in the store also Xbox 360 store and it’s 720p on there.
They need to
It had the best lightsaber combat outside of Jedi Academy.
Yes! And the button pushes dictated the moves….
Yes and the lightsaber combos....with Anakin i remember pushing square, then triangle forever lol
You must have not played the force unleashed
@@goatedjoe Force Unleashed's lightsaber combat is good, but it's not as thorough as this game.
@@goatedjoeforce unleashed its focused on force use, and there's a lot of overpowered moves, Episode III had a lot of lightsaber combos and parrys and a more sane of use of force moves
Bro nobody forgot this game
I’m constantly wanting another game like this just for the dueling mode
AGREED
Same here
They should make a Star Wars fighting game based off of the dueling mode in this game.
@@totally100darthvader7 that’s what I’ve been saying!!
It’s so good
True. Also he little noob to not heal itself in Grievous fight.
This game is basically Revenge of the Sith without plot armor
Fun fact the Serra Keto and Cin fights are actually canon to the movie (it's one of the things Obi sees in the hologram recordings)
Really? Wow never noticed
@DwarfProblemz92 obviously the novel goes into more detail but yes we have to remember that Anakin's lightsaber skills are very high at this point only Yoda and Obi are better than him maybe Mace Windu and 1 of them is cause he trained with him and knows his fighting style to the dot
I loved this game. My PS2 and memory card were malfunctioning in 2005, so I would always have to replay the entire game. I was 16 at the time, sitting in my sunroom at 3a.m. playing this game. It was a sacrifice, but someone had to do it. My dogs used to sit and watch me play this game. My Shetland Sheepdog was scared of Palpatine. A vet she saw when she was a puppy looked a little like the old Sheevster, so I guess that was what caused it. Or maybe she could recognize the Sith when she saw them. That would be surprising. I loved her, but she was severely mentally handicapped. I miss those days and those dogs.
All old star wars games need a remaster, with UE5 level graphics.
@@ncard00 Honestly after seeing many remasters like Resident Evils, Shadow of the Colossus, etc, Id say it would only ruin them since then youll have the gigantic mismatch between the graphics and the physical model, which would then have to be overhauled to match the visuals and by that time you end up with a whole different game. What Id like is a retouch: tighten up some textures here and there, maybe smooth out some of the animations, better lightsaber effects and blade textures and small things like that + post-processing to fix the somewhat washed out colors, now that would be great.
@@Henry14arsenal2007 remakes exist and as of lately have been great, destroy all humans and dead space were recreated from the ground up and they all feel super faithful to the originals
@@Henry14arsenal2007 I do like the way Resident Evil 2 was remade, and that is my personal Gold Standard that I hold every other remake up to since I hate remakes and usually reboots too (I was looking forward to a Sliders reboot though but sadly that won't happen now). Also, I forgot about the Destroy all Humans remakes being even better than the Resident Evil 2 one I have both DAH remakes on steam. The C&C one is remastered but it is also a good modern release.
I have so many memories playing this game. It was spendorious
what
Fandabbydosy
One thing to keep in mind about the added combat on Grevious's ship in the start of the game; everything Lucas had planned on the ship was over a hour long, and he had to cut a ton of it. Guess he just decided to put it in the game.
This had the best lightsaber duel mechanics out of all Star Wars games
Order 66 mission as Anakin was incredible really the whole game was
I beat the whole game before the movie came out and it made the movie way better cuz I was sitting there the whole time knowing what was gunna happen next. I felt so cool.
I still can't believe they had the balls to spoil the entire movie themselves before it even came out. Imagine marvel doing that with infinity war.
Me too 😭😂
@@tokyodeathghoul2313 Have you seen the RotS trailer? Spoiled the WHOLE MOVIE
Fun fact the elf looking dude is actually the lightsaber choreographer from the prequels, so they had a kinda cheeky nod to him by making a character for him that was a lightsaber instructor to appear in the movie, but for some reason it was cut out.
Dude this game was absolutely amazing. Still have it for my PS2. The multistage fight with Grievous was incredibly difficult and all the deviations from the original movie were really interesting looking back. The dueling mode was super fun too seeing different characters go at it. I'd love a remaster of this game for sure ❤
I remember getting this game a day before going to the movie to watch it.
It blew my mind you could use the versus/multiplayer to play as Grievous.
That and the game has real cool movesets for every character.
And it was WAY more brutal than the movie. (wish the movie would have gone crazy like that)
I can’t imagine how amazing it must’ve been to see Revenge of the Sith in theatres when it first came out
I remember i was in 8th grade and my teacher was a big star wars fan, he came in looking dead tired and said he went to the midnight showing and him and a classmate were talking about the movie all day
I was lucky enough to see it, and yes, it was AMAZING
It was awesome for sure. I was 7 at the time and got to go with my best friends at the time to see it and it was so cool. The only one of the original saga I got to see in theaters
Imagine playing this game before seeing the movie
Man that would be so funny. "Hey, that wasnt in the game! *points to the lack of a Windu vs Anakin fight scene*"
I think there was a anakin vs mace fight but it was cut for the mace vs palpatine fight
@@PseudoNym13 Tbh I think I speak for everyone when I say I'd rather have seen Anakin vs Mace in the movie.
@@GreaterPhenom yeah I agree it makes more sense to have anakin fight mace than to have palpatine fight him it better mirrors rotj and as much as I love Ian hamming it up with those faces in the fight having him use a lightsaber at all is odd considering he thematically should be beyond using it and rely solely on the dark side force powers. imagine he folds the 3 weaker jedi masters with lightning then anakin starts fighting mace windu with him blocking mace like he did to luke in rotj.
@@PseudoNym13I could be wrong but I remember reading somewhere that Palpatine was meant to use Anakin's lightsaber to fight Mace. Sort of a similar principle to how for a few frames in Obi Wan and Anakin's fight, their lightsaber hilts have been swapped around
@@SocksFC yeah in some shots if you zoom in and pause it he’s using anakins there was also a palpatine toy released before the movie came out where his lightsaber was blue for some reason and me and my friend were confused as to why but it makes sense it was changed for the final movie version as the toys came out months in advance
I never and will never forget this game, the amount of fun I had with this game....
i remember playing this title a lot when i was a kid. Versus was simple yet nice to do, there were combo for flashy finishers and both force push and lightning were broken. Still has 8/10 in my heart lol
There are some amazing mods for a game called Jedi Knight Jedi Academy. I'd like to see you play with them. One of the mods, Galactic Legacy, adds hundreds upon hundreds of spawnable Star Wars characters into the game. You can fight them, have them fight each other, explore locations from the movies, and so much more. There's another mod called Movie Duels, which re-creates the duels from the movies in the game.
You can do like... everything, with Jedi Academy.
I mean it. I made videos, mods, SP campaigns, maps, skins, NPCs, code-mods. For 20 years, it never stopped to amaze me.
Yeah I never got around to getting that game and its mods
It even had a mod where you could play as Megabeast Investigator Juspion (a Tokusatsu sci-fi show that came out in Japan in 1985; part of the Metal Hero series franchise, in which there were space themed heroes in metal suits that used lightsabers.
Juspion's main villain also basically looked like Darth Vader except he was as tall as Godzilla.
In fact, 1986's Metal Hero Spielvan was the first to use double ended lightsaber years before it showed up in The Phantom Menace. The main showrunner of Spielvan was said to be a huge Star Wars fan. They even had a ship in it that resembled the X-Wing fighter.
Fun fact, Tokusatsu show Android Kikkaider, which came out in 1972, and had a U.S. localization run in Hawaii in 1974, had a 3rd arc villain: Cyborg Hakkaider, who would later on be one of the main inspirations for the creation of Darth Vader as noted by George Lucas.
Cyborg Hakkaider turned out to the 'father' of the hero Android Kikkaider (he was a scientist who created him much like Gippeto created Pinnochio) and he was later manipulated and turned into Hakkaider by his former boss Professor DARK, who Hakkaider later turned on and killed. Professor DARK was basically Emperor Palpatine in that sense.
Also, getting back to Metal Hero series, the first one that came out in 1982, Space Sheriff Gavan; his suit design was noted to be the inspiration for Robocop, and ironically, after Robocop was released, a few years later, the Metal Hero series would get two shows about android/cyborg cops known as Jiban and Janperson; which were clearly inspired by Robocop.
I still love this game. I wish I knew as a kid you press both stick buttons and you Force Heal.
Would have saved me so many times on the tough boss fights and the levels after Mace Windu fight
The mechanics and move’s you could unlock made this special. I remember unlocking with lightning with Anakin
True fans didn't forget about this gem. Top 5 SW Games hands down
I remember IGN ripped this game apart when it came out. I couldn’t understand why, this was a blast. (Apparently they didn’t like that the combos and chains weren’t effective on higher difficulties. I wouldn’t know. Normal difficulty was plenty for me)
This needs a remaster because this quote possibly one of the greatest Star Wars games ever made. Yeah the graphics look a bit janky and the voice acting could’ve been better but my god the combat is so awesome and extremely fun
And some of the differences were so brutal and awesome
And this game actually has an alternate non canon ending which is really cool to see
I'd rather them not. They would just cast Matt Lanter as Anakin.
They also had content cut from the movie I think in an extras section. Either way, the extra stuff was always fun, but it was sad that you could not turn off Anakin's lightning
Imagine a clone wars + revenge of the sith game with jedi academy source on unreal 5 engine WITHOUT EA GAMES AND MICROTRANSACTIONS also with dedicated servers. 🥹👉👈
I absolutely LOVED this game!!! I would play for hours and hours, especially being Darth Vader killing the Jedi at the Temple, the Separatists on Mustafar, and fighting Obi-Wan. The alternate ending where Vader kills Obi-Wan and Sidious, becoming the Emperor, is just fantastic. It's a disgrace I can't play it anymore cause it's not on PC.
Revenge Of The Sith was one of the masterpieces of the PlayStation 2. It was crazy that it had many scenes from the movie and basically told us the story of the movie and it came out before the movie. I remember walking to the movie premier and I had already played the game and saw cuts from the most important scenes.
I never forgot this game. I’ve often mentionned it to my friends and praised how amazing the gameplay, fights and endings were! 😁
My little brother and I used to play the heck out of this back in the day. Honestly, no Star Wars game had a better saber combat system than this one, even still to this day. The moves and combos and flashy shit is just unmatched.
true
I remember STRUGGLING against Cin Drallig and Nute Ginrays' gunship. I had to replay those sections for days before i beat them.
This game will be in my heart for a life time playing with my dad through the entire game and at the end fighting each other makes you feel the emotions of the story so much more
The most overlooked ability is healing. When I was younger it took forever to figure it out. Had to beat them with whatever health I had till I figured it out
I still haven't.
It gave you a hint right at the beginning of the game
@@LOLMAN9538I played the game on the Xbox 360, and I could never figure out the button presses.
@@Wolffman109 push both sticks
@@peerreviews3047Tried that, didn't work.
I'm pretty sure they used a lot of the deleted scenes that didn't make it to the movie as a playthrough. I LOVED this game. Thank you for bringing it back
The bonus missions for this game are pretty good. One of them included playing as Yoda during Order 66, while another one featured the duel between Vader and Ben Kenobi from Episode 4.
I have never forgotten about this game. One of the many things I liked about it was that we could have two versions of the same character if the opponent was the same character (Obi-Wan with a green lightsaber, Vader with a blue one, etc.)
DAMN
I loved the alternative costumes I just wished you could use them without playing as the same character. I wanted cloaked and red saber anakin as my main.
@@benduffy2782 yeah, that would have been better
The game is just deleted scenes from the movie 😂😂
I remember buying this second hand to my ps2 when I was a kid. It was a level in the game (think it was the lava one) that always crashed no matter what, so I never got to finish it😢
What’s funny is this shows games been releasing broken for decades lol
I certainly didn't forget about this game. I think about this game often. Loved it.
This game is so good! Especially the pvp! You and your friend could pick your favorite character and duel on so many maps! It was almost like Mortal Kombat but Star Wars and without the Tower mode lol. But still really fun
Me and my little brother will never forget this gem. This game literally started our love for SW now we binge watch the shows and movies 🤣
I remember this game. Star Wars had some classic games. Boba fett, that obi wan game, battlefront 1 and 2 the originals.
Lego Star Wars (the collection combines the prequel and sequel) was also great.
Just finished a full playthrough again the other day. Man that Dooku fight playing it for the first time gives me nightmares 🤣 but I overcame it all!
Lmfaooo this was the funniest commentary gameplay of this game you also nailed the iguana sound as well 😂 that deserves a new subscriber lol
2:02 bro anakin's movement is so smooth, it's not like there's a cut in the movement and then it's blocking it out of nowhere.
2:04 was one of the most frustrating fights in my life
I own this on original Xbox. Great game despite some flaws. Multiplayer was a great add on.
It's also backwards compatibility on Xbox 360 and xbox one X with 4K and Xbox series X and digital for Series S and Also Xbox 360
The combos on this game were insane there was so many.... Also you force heal by pushing the 2 analog sticks in
I remember playing this all the time with my, then, best friends on PS2. This game had/has so much replayability. I wish there was a remaster
And so technically you got to watch the movie. Before it got released and so when the movie released. I knew what was gonna happen. I couldn’t believe they did that.
😂😂😂😂😂 I can promise you I will never forget this game: one day I came home from school (1st grade or 2nd I believe) and I put this in my PS2, and I thought my mom was being kind to me and made me a glass of cold water, so I took it to my room and took one sip, spat it out all over the TV, and I am yelling that this isn’t water. Turns out my mom poured herself a glass of white wine and ran out of her normal glasses… and I was about to get the high ground on Anakin and finish this game😂
I used to play that game on my PlayStation when I was a kid and during my middle school years; it's alternate ending at the end of Mustafa was something I often talked about that would have changed everything.
Something I will Never Forget.
If skywalker did win that fight, and I'm happy recent Star Wars What if channels are using that to reference and to help progress the story.
My favorite part is the unique unit on both the separatist and the clone army that I wish we got to see more of another media [ The B2 Grapple droid ,the B1 flying battle Droid, Clone Blaze Troopers, And the Clone Assassins! & Sara]
PLAY IT PLAY DISNEY INFINITY IT HAS SPIDERMAN VENOM INCREDIBLES U CAN PLAY ALL OF THEM ALSO IT IS OPEN WORLD
My cousin had this game 🙏❤️ this game was ✨MAGNIFICENT✨❤️
Oh man this brings me back. I remember playing this with my dad when I was little
Man this brings back memories. My cousin and I stayed up from sun down to sun up to beat this game in one night when we were kids after seeing the theater premiere
Had no idea just how EPIC this was. I never played this game but I was fascinated by the website lol I really thought the Grapple Droids were cool. Am I right, fellow droidists? 😃
If this game came first then the movie isnt accurate
This game is what would happen if we got a 4-hour (or 5-hour) cut of the movie. And I’m all for it!
I loved this game growing up I think I replayed it easily 50 times and I loved how you can go back to the final fight and change the ending that part was always so sick to me as a kid
I miss this game! It was the first video game I ever played at 3-4 years old with my cousin(another major Star Wars fan). This entire game is a MASTERPIECE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Best Star Wars game!!!! 😁👌
Or I'll go to ur home
This guy completed the boss fights without even trying to heal when he had a full focus bar most times
I didn't know healing was even an option
I ain't ever forgot about this. This the only remaking I been hoping for!
Play disney infinity
I think about this game daily. Loved doing the split screen pvp and pve
I’m amazed you did all this without force heal. I remember being unable to beat Dooku as a kid till I discovered that.
Loved that game so much on my Internet isolated PS2 days
Your commentary is making me laugh so hard, especially when it came to dying and having to start the level all over again 🤣 I hear you, dude 😭 . You're incredibly entertaining to watch. I miss playing this game when I was younger, I was 13 when this game was released on PS2 😁
This game was so good for its time. Those assassin clones in the temple, battling those crab droids, upgrading your attacks and stuff. So good.
I remember playing this one night during a thunderstorm. Epic.
I love that you can play alternate endings in this game! Super dope game and I think I may need to play this again!
I’ve always wanted to see a “what-if” series with Anakin (Vader) ruling the galaxy.
6:54
Grevious with the L4D hunter pounce got me😂
i bring this game up all the time, its my all time favorite fr, spent so long on the last level of the game, but it was so fulfilling finally beating it
I played this game so many times back in the day. God I still love it.
I didn't I can't it saved my life probably see the times I lived in the projects and this was era games really started invading. I remember missing a shootout because I was playing video games in this timeline... True story.
This reminds me so much of The Lord Of The Rings games on XBox and PS2. Such a throwback to the good old days.
Love the pvp or p vs ai fights in this as well
This game was the first thing I eagerly waited to play on my own PS2 when I finally got it as a gift in late 2005.
Remember playing this on the PS2 along with Battlefront and Bounty Hunter
I definitely haven’t forgotten that game. I played the hell out of it when I was a kid.
Went back and played this last summer again god i love it and the dueling mode was so fun
Ohhhh no… I had not forgotten about this game. I loved it. Playing through the DS version right now and am really enjoying it.
The good and evil sides of characters in the battle mode was sick
What I liked most about the game vs the movie is that we see how powerful Anakin is, we see him kill dooku and a 5 second recording but I would have been right on the edge of my seat if we saw that fight with Mace or saw Anakin tearing apart the temple.
6:48 the trick to beating Grievous was to spam force throwing environmental stuff at him like those convenient explosives around him if I remember correctly
This game was so good, I remember you put Anakin stats up so much throughout the game then you have to fight him with all the stats and moves you gave him.
it's kinda funny (outside of legos) that it gives the most detailed description of the Jedi Temple sack to date (even if it's hella legends lol).
Man that Dooku fight brought me to tears as a kid and I think I was playing on easy.
5:14 I'm dead! Best video I seen all week! And yeah the best Star Wars game ever! Never hear anyone talk about this classic!
Yooooo! I actually completed this game about only a year ago. I got all the secrets, all the EXP points, meaning that both Anakin and Obi-Wan were levelled up to the fullest, and I did all that on hard difficulty. Great game!
I rmeber this game because in my childhood, I went to my best friends house and he was playing this. He was specifically in the obiwan vs anakin level. He got so frustrated and told me to shut up so he could have silence for concentration (he hasn’t beaten anakin to this day)
Anakin’s death scream seriously brings back memories
Imma be honest, I’m just now discovering the force powers upgrade… when I was a kid I played the entire game without doing that… now I know why I struggled so much.
my cousin and i spent hours trying to beat count dooku, only to forget to save the game after finally defeating him. such good memories.
I liked how the actors actually used their moves in the game
Didn’t realize Chaos was such a Star Wars nerd lol this was awesome!
