I delivered my own baby in my moms car trying to get to the hospital. She thought I needed to go to the hospital because my foot was swollen. I hadn’t told her i was pregnant yet. Turns out I had pre-eclampsia and didn’t know. She was only 3,2 pounds. She is now a happy 2 year old. She was born on my birthday. Best bday present I’ve ever received. Her birth certificate says “Birthplace: highway 431 Hospital: Vehicle” 🙄

The power of women bringing life into the world. I was the opposite. I had a LONG labor. 3 days in labor and ended up with an emergency C-section and bleeding out to the point where I could feel I was dying. BUT me and my baby made it safe and healthy. Birth is no joke!

This story was very intense. I'm stressed just hearing about it. You both are so brave. God bless your family. There were so moments that gave me a good laugh, Patricia. You are a natural comedian. This birth was lightning fast.
I have had six children. My first came within 3 hours after that I never made it past 1.5 hours. One time I was at work went to the bathroom by myself and went into labor, luckily a judge came in and found me, lol. By the time the ambulance came I was pushing. Funny side note: before I went into labor I was on my way to catch the bus to my car but a co-worker came and chatted me up so I missed the bus. I would have been in heavy labor on the bus in Miami rush hour traffic. Trust me I know your pain!
My oldest is45 now. It’s funny how we remember each and every detail no matter how old the child is. This is the one thing that binds us as women-we have all the details fresh as new snow in our minds. Three of mine were born at home. My midwife had retired by the time the youngest (34) came along. Congratulations on your beautiful new baby girl.

P.s. I do apologize for the long post but I wanted to be clear that I wasn't trying to be mean but I just wanted to clarify that because most people would think she was using a breathing apparatus WHICH IT DOES help with when you consider that you can breathe easier when you're not in pain.

As a mom of four big headed babies I was feeling your pain but my goodness I was laughing all the way through this - your fantastic mamma you did an ace job!!
I gave birth and delivered my own baby at home!!😬 my husband went out to pick up my brother to stay with my 4 year old so we could go hospital but it happened so fast and like you said, your body just gets to do what it's supposed to do, you can't stop it. Rang for an ambulance and the operator was very calm and absolutely wonderful, she helped and encouraged me through the birth and when the ambulance came i obviously couldn't open the front door, still had my placenta in me lol so they waited 5 more minutes for my husband to arrive and when they made it in the house , baby was there, comfortably sucking his thumb, wrapped up in my dressing gown because that was the only thing available at arms reach! And to be honest, it was the best birth experience I've had 🤭😀 well done to you! Your baby is so cute!

Lol I have three crazy labour stories here is one of them. I learned from giving birth, is don't wait you know your body and what your feeling get to the hospital ASAP or your going to give birth in these circumstances.
Long story short, in the morning just before the school run and my husband had already left for work. My first child eight year old son had to help deliver my second son as I went into labour two weeks early and I was in labour for an hour and was also told to wait for stronger contractions before coming to the hospital. Just a few seconds after I delivered the paramedics knocked on the door and my husband rushed through the door just after the paramedics. My eight year old son is a hero💪🏾. The stitches do hurt more because the swelling has already started and hours have passed after giving birth so that area becomes very sensitive, I felt every stitch. If you let these experiences effect you it will put you off birth for life.

You’re amazing for sharing this. I watched this before giving birth and it made me more informed about quick precipitous labour. I actually ended up having a precipitous labour myself two weeks ago, after going from 5cm to 9cm in only 12 mins. Unfortunately I had to have a c section but it’s good to know you CAN have a vaginal delivery if you have a precipitous labour 🤞🏻 I’ll be able to do this next time. Nova is absolutely gorgeous! 💕

His head , she kept saying it can’t be you was only 4 cm dilated less than an hour ago , he was there and out 😂both in shock
I know how you feel. It happened with my 3rd. Midwives didnt believe me either. The head was out and it took my husband tapping her on the shoulder to tell her the head was fully out for her to kick her ass into gear.... ( she was just humming a tune and walking around the room)
I had planned a water delivery but by the time the pool was ready I was stitched, showered and feeding baby!
Same! I went from 2, 6, 9 within an hour! I almost delivered my baby in the toilet
I was born in the back seat of my parents car in our drive way. They were trying to leave to go to the hospital and I came before they got to the front gate of our house. My dad literally took off his shirt and caught me. my mom won’t let me forget it. She tells me all the time that “ all you had to do was wait a few more minutes”

It absolutely is not from Fashion Nova. She said she wanted a Christmas type name since its so close to her birthday. Nova is in the same family as star like the star that showed up when Jesus was born.

@Ravynne maybe but as they say you can't please everyone. If Patricia put more of the labour and birth she still would of gotten thumbs down and that's sad. However as they said, they were all busy and no matter how much you plan and wish to record, labour never goes the way we actually plan. Like things could of been worse. When the whole giving birth starts, you want it to go calmly with no hiccups. If there was hectic around xs no one should want to see that because its watching the mama and the unborn child suffering to give birth safely. Everyone is different but again cant please everyone but I'm just glad Nova/Patricia/Michael are ok and doing well ^^
