As a psychology major I can tell you that this woman is not lying about her experience like some people in the comment section suggest. People who have experienced trauma such as this woman, will often talk about the smells, the sights and the sounds of their experience which is a clear indication that their trauma is real. People who comment otherwise are disgusting and ignorant. This woman is incredibly brave and focused.
@@Progressive_Canadian not many things at this point...but when someone's first thought/comment is to bring the element of whether or not someone story is true...Yeah I am baffled

I’ll never complain again about how mundane my life is, washing clothes, washing dishes, and being a housewife. I won’t take that for granted ever again listening to her story.
I get depressed quite often. Anymore though, I tell myself that I have nothing to be depressed about. But millions of other people have plenty of reasons to cry. Especially those that have been forced into the sex trade.
@@elizabethwatts9251 Hey, every single Human has the 100% right to be sad about whatever makes them sad. To be depressed about whatever it is that makes them depressed. Sure, others have had worse lives, worse experiences, brutal experiences, etc., but the person who lost everything, who was tortured beyond words, feels their emotions over it and they're valid. The same is for those who are depressed because an outing they looked forward to going to was canceled. Their emotions over it are just as valid and allowed to be felt and talked about as well. Just because others have stuff go worse, does not ever mean the rest of us have to just keep emotionless and not let it out or talk about it. Holding emotions back or lessening ones feelings about something that happens just turns us into soulless, emotionless robots and people die from holding in emotion. Let it out. You're 100% allowed to, are supposed to, and need to.
@@albertawheat6832 sounds like you can’t tell when people are lying. I’ve heard of stories of girls who falsely claim r*pe. I believe that. I’m not saying people never lie, but I trust my gut. On any subject there are always doubters, those that contradict & accuse others of making things up. They are just as bad as the perpetrators. They are ignorant attention seekers. They can't get the degree of attention they need by saying something kind or sympathetic so they decide to stir the pot with disbelief. They want a reaction so the best thing is to totally ignore them. I choose to starve them out, not feed their egos. Great answer, by the way. ❤

I cannot believe the bravery of this woman. War is horrible and no one benefits especially female civilians. At this moment human trafficking is happening all over the world. Human trafficking is the number one moneymaker. To go through experiences like these and still feel love and kindness to others is a miracle. I hope a day will come when we all put our efforts into healing each other and our planet instead of actions which stun every aspect of our being.❤️
Most victims losing their lives in wars are are male. For example Ukraine the men die in hundreds of thousands while their women are here in Germany living from the money that is forced from the German working people. After 2 1/2 years theres a Flixbus shuttle Service to All mein towns in Ukraine and the busses are booked out all the time and only about 17 or 18 of the Ukrainians here are working. Those who die "at home" are in the vast majority the men.

My mom used me for Sodomy with the old woman, then her son came and rapped me at 7 yrs. I thought that part was over. Abba said He has A future for me. I loved The Glory and I never thought He would allow me to be used for sex training and trafficking and government Presidents Families. The daily pain never stops and the shaking of the body never stops. The constant moving All day long and stench of unclean woman. The bowels of these people are so withered, they steal skin so the husband's can't see how dead they are in their bodies. I have to read the Bible. I'm a High Holy Priest. This is what we are. How do u stop being what you are Born? These people learn such demonic trade for living above ground. I had no idea. 22 yrs Body shaking, stench, organ extract from men and their wives and children. Random people and walks of life. Abba tells me when my reproductive feminine organs are used for babies. Then he tells me the young men and their women that get pregnant. In USA States when the government make so much money off your Levi Holy High Priest Ordained Power no land on Earth will do anything. No one will come and get you up from convulsions. They began to kidnap you from local government employees then keep u for observation without Authorization from any doctor. Living off the hwy even when Your God from Heaven shows up over your Head. These Demons continue to plot for your murder no mercy. I am crippled from so much usery of sex. The young men use me so much with old men driving to the location that allows me to stay. Park outside the room and rap me through the building and rooms. Leave and return doing it over and over and over. Do u know I am still expected to keep my Eyes on Abba. ? There's no choice after this type of life given from The Church. she had good parents. That makes a difference in how she deals with things later in life. If she did not have that she would not be coping nearly as well as she is. She's coping very well considering what she went through.
How cruel can someone be? Someone is opening up about the heaviest time in her live and is accused of lying? She is pure courage with a strong heart and a tender spirit. If you can’t deal with that, go away.
Well the opposite is believe everything someone says on the internet based on how their story sounds. People are just exercising a rational degree of skepticism.
@@Ninja6485 yes, but there is also such a thing as timing. Of course you can be skeptical about everything. But that doesn't come for free. The risk is to portray a victim as untrustworthy and one is guilty of the fact that this victim can never step out of the status of the victim. Maybe one day you will have a daughter who will go public to report on her fate and to raise awareness. Think about what society should encounter her.
@@SuperBrownCharlie I actually think her story is probably true, but I also understand that this is a UA-cam video; and people do post very convincing content on UA-cam that ends up being fictitious. People have a right to question what they see, especially when you're posting content on a public forum. If you're not able to handle someone questioning your story, maybe it's not something that you should be sharing on an open forum. If my daughter was going to post a traumatic story on UA-cam, I would make sure that she understood that some people are going to be supportive, but that some people are going to question it, and others could be downright mean, and so she should be ready to open herself up to those comments before putting it out there. I would want her to live in a world where she wasn't forbidden to question someone's story simply based on the sensitive nature of the content.

@maquisbg no matter if it's caused by America or the Galactic Empire, there's no justification for what Serbs did in that war. Half of Bosnia had to move away, half of Kosovo had to move away, more than 300k people were killed combined in Bosnia Croatia and Kosovo, over 50 000 women raped just in Bosnia. It's horrific.

On the other hand her compatriots the albanian ucka were implicated in raping women human trafficking them and killing serbs and albanian prostitutes aka their own people for organs in kossovo. There is even a penal case against albanians open in the international penal court of hague for those albanian that were killing people for that reason in the so called yellow house in kossovo. This series keeps getting tougher and tougher to watch. It is so important to hear stories like this. It really struck me how you hear words like "rape" and "war crimes" and they are so devoid of the actual impact on people's lives. This episode really made it evident how it impacts REAL human beings' lives. Please keep telling stories like this!

When I hear stories like this, I'm baffled at how people can be so cruel and heartless. You are an absolute warrior, Lurata. I cant imagine surviving all that and not being destroyed by it.
people are very good at "othering" dehumanizing. It's awful. I wish everyone could see we're all the same thing. It breaks my heart to hear these stories of cruelty. It angers me but that won't solve these problems. How do we fix something so horrific? Hurt people hurt and that's not going to change.
The mammalian brain that controls most of our instincts naturally puts people into friend or foe groupings. No matter how rational we try to be it will continue; it's why you have people at work in those groups or during covid you husband might have suddenly become an "enemy" because your circle had shrunk so small.
My heart goes out for her.Yet, praying, praying more for her bec I believe the BEST IS YET TO COME ,in Jesus' Name. God bless her heart and others like her ,brave and resolute to go on....
Lurata, if you read this, I want you to know that I have this overwhelming sense that your innocence and purity have not been destroyed. I think their intactness shows in your tears when you talk about the inhumane acts you witnessed and suffered. Your innocence and purity make you the wonderful person you are today! ❤ Perhaps they were taken from you then, but in that case I believe you have found and reclaimed them. You inspire me!
I agree. Innocence and purity don't have to do with whether a penis entered a vagina. They have to do with your morals and choices! You are choosing to share your stories out of the PUREST desires to help stop trafficking and human trafficking! Pure of heart means sincerely, love and compassion for all. It does NOT mean sex. Your value as a human isn't tied to your sexuality! And I HATE that even today we are telling girls that they don't have value unless their a virgin even though sex is a normal human behavior! That does not make the rape less traumatic as it's probably the worst thing that a person could ever live through. But I hope this helps you know just how wonderful, innocent, beautiful, pure a person you are!
I was kidnapped and the guy's would keep telling me they were going to kill me when they were done. They got a kick out of my fear. I jumped out of the car when they were driving outside the city to bury my body. Out of all the pain from those 4 days what sticks with me the most is the fear of hearing how they were going to kill me. It;s a very hard feeling to explain and sadly others know it as well. I hope this woman is coping better then me. It destroyed my life. Some people are pure evil.
Your will to live was stronger than anything else. Please don't let those evil men "win," by not enjoying the rest of your life. You deserve so much more. Maybe you can envision yourself as a phoenix rising from the ashes of a painful past. Praying for your healing and wishing you find a strong support system to lean on. When you find yourself recalling bad memories, maybe scream out loud by yourself or punch a pillow, until the negative energy leaves your body. Find ways to release the fear that feels healthy and empowering for you. Please don't be afraid to ask for the help and resources you need to help you get through this. May you have many peaceful and beautiful moments 🙏
Hey! Im SO sorry. I just wanna let you know, you survived that for a reason and your life isn’t destroyed, even if it feels like that! I’m gonna pray for you! Dear God please let this beautifully strong daughter of yours make it through her darkest days. Please give her the strength, hope, healing, and happiness she so desperately needs and please renew her life as if it was never almost destroyed. Please show her that you are the one she needs to turn to during these hard times and show her the love and grace of Jesus that she’s so deserving of. Her dad was right she didn't need to be a doctor to save lives she saved so many by being so strong and speaking about this 🙏🏻❤️ I wish her all the happiness in the world for the rest of her life ❤️
Yes, but the terrible price she paid? Her father didn't meant help like this, being a live warning and victim witness. He probably meant any career choice pursued with intention of helping people would result in satisfying her need to better the world. If there was a choice, it would be much much better if her life led her to actually become a doctor like she wished.
....And, Heaven with only the good, NO EVIL, there. God bless the very precious Lurata and all others who have been treated, similar in the powerful name of Jesus Christ ✝️.

The only reason I could stomach watching this was because of how beautifully your soul shines through this horrific darkness. It’s strange to simultaneously be in awe at the cruelty and disgust that lives in some people while also being in awe of the bravery and love you are able to still exude. Lurata, if you ever read this, your strength is incredibly inspiring. The light that shines from your soul will most definitely light the path for many to escape their own personal hell after experiencing such great trauma. It took me almost an hour to string those words together because you have left me mostly speechless but my goodness, you must know, you are an incredible human to find love from such a horrific experience. ❤️

Thank you for this gift of showing us how strong and vulnerable and bold a scared young child can be.
Being held against your will, kidnapped and tortured for a woman always means sexual assault, that’s how we are perceived in war and in society to harm a woman they have to abuse her also. Hope this helps to raise awareness of the different kind of violence we face added to the violence men hostages are subjected to too
Have you ever thought of what war means for men if you get caught being a soldier? High time to stop the feminist rubbish as if women were the only victims br#talised in wars!
it's actually astonishing to me how many people do things like that, or condone because they purchase the organs. But watching this channel it's like I mean there was a himan for listen a lower cartel who was killing people since he was like a child, The people who indoctrinate child soldiers after kidnapping them from their parents and killing their parents in some cases in Africa, The description of the Cambodian genocide by that one woman was one of the most insane things I've ever heard although I was already previously kind of aware of that event, The woman who talks about the Rwandan genocide that is totally insane like the number of people involved in those incidents doing those things is like millions of people. It kind of says one of two things it says either anyone is capable of becoming like that, then circumstances can force or kind of manipulate people into just completely losing all their empathy, or there's just a shit ton of people who are always capable of that.
"because I was so destroyed, I've learned so much love from it." This is incredible psychological strength. It is beyond a reframe. It's probably the only way to survive such brutality.
This woman is an amazing human being. How do we properly appreciate someone that has gone through such horrors of the worse kinds of physical and psychological abuse, yet comes away, not twisted with rage and hatred, but with a genuine concern for the well being of others. There are no words for this. She is a guardian angel forged in the fires of traumatic insight. May she be rewarded with unending bright blessings for her goodness. The world need more good people like this lady, but hopefully without all of the terrible experiences.

I still remember the sirens in the park and going home. My family members almost died while bombing Zagreb. I have older friends with severe PTSD still. I don’t know why it shocks me that people took advantage of the horrors of war and did things like this. It boils my heart what our countries went through, what people went through, and in what state it left our countries.
It was all so terrible and then she said "i was in there for 6 months", and my jaw dropped. How you could make it through 6 months in isolation is completely unfathomable to me. Lurata is a beautiful soul. Im moved by her story. Thank yiu for being so vulnerable and shsring this all with us ❤
Everytime she cried, I did too. It is just unimaginable. And I don’t know about everyone else but these events she endured, it all seemed so fast, one literally right after the other. Lurata, you are more brave than most of the world. Thank you for sharing your story and that is of many women of the world. I hope you're happy as can be, wherever you are now.
When she talks about her dad finding her, that's what got me. Such an incredible woman, to have gone through so much, so young, and come out the other side
I dont understand what she meant when she said "my dads face, being a doctor, said it all" like she could have just said "my dads face said it all" so what is it about being a doctor that is important when he rescues her? in fact what does it mean at all when she says it "said it all," what did it say?

So much love to you, Lurata. There really are no words for your suffering, but I am so incredibly sorry for what happened to you. Thank you for sharing your strength ❤
Its beyond words what humans are capable of, the evil, and pain. I'm so glad she survived, but it is unfathomable that this is still happening, in wars and children around the world. I had my own torment as a domestic abuse survivor, 23 years. It happens everywhere even next door. I just wish with all my heart it could be stopped. Its the hardest thing to escape.
This is too heavy for me to finish listening all at once. Can't imagine how terrifying it was for Lurata. I'm so sorry that she had to endure such physical and mental torture.
I was 8 when the war started in Croatia. My father volunteered to go to war to defend the country. He didn't tell my mum until her was at the door to go.I was 8 and i still remember mom's screems and crying and beging him not to go.And my brother and i were just kids we didn't know why is mum crying and dad leavimg the house. We barely heard from him we didn't know where in Croatia he was deployed. We spent days in our Neighbors basements. Not at all a happy childhood. My father did come back but was never the same. And i feel guilt cos i am happy that my father came back and i know that so many fathers, brothers, uncles didn't and those kids are not happy as me.Rest in peace to all the brave men and women who died so we can be free, and who survived trough that hell
I am so sorry you experienced this. No child or family should ever go through that 😢I’m sorry the pain you endured. I don’t know you, but I love you. And I hope and pray love and healing surround you and your loved ones. May all the good in the world surround you forever, in Jesus Name! What courage and strength someone needs to live this endless nightmare and in the end say “I feel super lucky” and “because I was so destroyed I have learned so much love from it and kindness”..
Im 40 years old. I remember the early 90s in school. So many Bosnian and Yugoslavian refugees. I remember the horror stories i had been told by these poor people. Feels like yesterday
I'm from Slovenia. When I was a kid in the 90's, we had refugees from that horrible war between Bosnia, Croatia, Serbia. My mom would later tell me stories she read in the newspapers about young teenage girls, woman captured by soldiers, and kept in rooms naked, raped 24/7. Horrific stories. My country Slovenia had a 10 day war with Serbia, combats were mostly on our border, I can't imagine what would happen to us if they would come inside our country, I don't think I'd be here today. Thank God we managed to become independent. But that Balkan civil war is still one thing I get sensitive about.
Thank you for the courage to share your story and reveal the truth about the crimes of trafficking committed against women. Blessings on your life and story.

This woman is so amazing. Her truth is absolutely heartbreaking, and the fact that she didnt just curl up in the fetal position and give up, is absolutely inspiring. Her emotional strength is empowering and i wish nothing but the best for her moving forward.❤
I've been through a lot in life, ive had a few moments i didn't believe id escape but my heart aches for this woman, her story is worse than mine, which is one of the things that has always kept me going in life, it's knowing no matter how bad it got there was someone out there in a worse position than my own. God Bless her 🙏 by the grace of God she is here to tell her story ❤ such a strong woman ❤
It's truly a miracle that she's alive and was able to survive this with her dignity, kindness, spirit and capacity to love as she does intact. I recall when this war was occurring and how frantic I was about it needing to be stopped and that especially the children needed to be rescued. I prayed fervently about this and had prayer partners praying also. Doing the same with the situation in Gaza, as many other prayer warriors have done during other wars and crises where the innocent are suffering and dying for the greed, lusts, envy and violence of some have put the many in grave danger, suffering great harm. May God be with her in her calling and may God bring all of us, His children through these great trials, to better times and better days or home with Him forever to be safe.
This broke my heart, I'm fighting the urge to cry, I am so sorry that we live in a world full of monsters, what this brave lady is describing is beyond my imagination, may you find your peace m'aam, nobody should ever go through that 😢
She's so incredibly brave to share her story, as she was describing everything she took me on that journey with her - but I can't even imagine actually experiencing anything like that. Thank you so much for sharing your story, I cried with you and my heart broke into pieces with you. And it makes me that much more grateful for what I have today and who I am. May God continue to heal you as what happened will always be a wound.
I remember visiting Croatia and walking onto a deserted beach thinking it was just abandoned. Walking up to the buildings you could see huge shell holes in them and my blood ran cold. I later found out that they housed women and children fleeing the war but got shelled anyway. After that just walking around the town you could then see shell and bullet holes in the plaster of some of the buildings. Once you knew what you were looking at you couldn’t unsee it. I remembered seeing the war on the tv as a kid but it didn’t make sense to me. I have a great respect for that place now
I am from Croatia. You can still see bullet holes in some cities. I don’t think Vukovar ever recovered. I cry every year when we honour the fall of Vukovar. I feel so grateful that the only thing I remember are the sirens. Sirens are still tested every month, first Saturday in the month. When the war in Ukraine started, people were high alerted, still there is a high PTSD among people, they stopped the sirens for a while because it disturbed all of us.
The dignity, humility, self-respect & self-containment in this lady is almost unfathomable, given her traumatic experiences. No matter how rational we try to be it will continue; it's why you have people at work in those groups or during covid you husband might have suddenly become an "enemy" because your circle had shrunk so small.

I agree so much, she recounts horrible abuse and then says it taught her love, if that's not innocence and purity I don't know what is 🤍
Very well said. She has a beautiful soul
Amen. They took so much from her but they can't take that. I wish her only good things from now on. Such a strong woman.

In serbia, all people deny these crimes against humanity and actually worship war criminals as heroes. Until to this day.

I'm 45 I remember too! A
Yes, I remember too - I met some Bosnian children and knew them quite well.
Thank you for the courage to share your story and reveal the truth about the crimes of trafficking committed against women. Blessings on your life and story.
Such a beautiful courageous woman who made a conscious decision to turn all her trauma to good. She is a testimony of true strength, humanity and loving kindness. I hope this lovely lady has a peaceful and happier life now ❤
This woman is so amazing. Her truth is absolutely heartbreaking, and the fact that she didnt just curl up in the fetal position and give up, is absolutely inspiring. Her emotional strength is empowering and i wish nothing but the best for her moving forward.❤
I have no words. What a brave woman to speak out aboutbher survival. She's truly amazing.
בעזה לא אונסים נשים! בעזה לא לוקחים גופות ומוציאים מהם איברים למכירה! הצבא הישראלי הוא הצבא המוסרי בעולם!!!
Its almost unimaginable what a human being is capable of doing to another human, this shows in 3 million years were still animals.
No, animals aren’t capable of such cruelty, only humans are. 😢
Nope. We are worse then animals
one word palestine !
@@raync8 No, Hamas. They are accountable for what is happening there.
no this is what men do to women. they aren’t animals. they’re men.
I have a great respect for that place now
Same here, we visited in 2003 was an eye opener, amazing people they are…
I am from Croatia.
Serbians did that
@@notjustanotherbrickinthewallmy dad was stationed in vukovar.. he cries every time he tells me the horror stories there 😔❤️🩹
@@aloveraplays i literally got chills 😢💔
The dignity, humility, self-respect & self-containment in this lady is almost unfathomable, given her traumatic experiences. I hope she lives a long, safe & fulfilling life 🙏💖 And the same for the other survivors of war atrocities that I found in the comments (amongst all the usual regrettable, disrespectful trash talk) 🙏💗
I know and am a dear friend of Lurata...SHE IS NOT LYING..I met her 20 years ago in a bar in London with our mutual friend from America..she's a sweetheart..can't believe this has come up on my feed.
Lol. She has to keep up the story she used to get residency
@@jordandevine-jonesyou’re kidding me right? .. what happened during Yugoslavia was disgusting. And yet western ppl like you wouldn’t ever understand what type of disgusting corruption like that is like.
Only thing is your government is literally playing you like a bloody chess game especially right now with all what’s going on right now.
So keep crying. Bc the difference of the west and what happened in Yugoslavia is, that you can close your eyes and sleep without worrying about what’s going to happen vs citizens in Yugoslavia had to worry every day and night about what was going to happen to them.
Mm?m. No
@@anncarter5945 this gurl is not 40 years old so i find it interesting how you met her in a bar she was 18 years old when this happened to her...this didnt happen 20 years ago this is relatuvely current story. maybe you have her confussed with someone else
@@JenniferMerrington The war in Yugoslavia happened over 30 years ago. This woman is well over 40 years old.
Oh, what a pain you have gone through, sister. ❤ I am happy you are alive, strong, and making a difference in this world.
Thank you Lurata for being so brave and strong. Thank you!
What an incredible survivor, and the love she has in her heart for others they could not take. Women like these are the ones in our society that should be revered and honored, not celebrities and the wealthy.
I hope that one day she is honored for her work and her courage. Much love to her and her family.
I am so sorry for what you have gone through. I can’t believe what so called humanity can do to each other. You are an inspiration to all of us. I am heartbroken to hear what you have gone through. Much love and respect
Thank you for your bravery in sharing your story, Lurata Lyon! Please keep speaking!
I’m glad I didn’t see any of the accusations of lying in these comments. Those people are either utter fools or evil in trying to discredit her truth!
Thank you Lurata Lyon for sharing your story with the public. May God bless and protect you. Love from Germany.
Heartbreaking, how she is still able to function is a miracle. It's so disturbing to learn that so many men turn into animals with no conscience, that they would torture innocents like this lovely young lady. I am so moved by her experience and that she still has the determination and belief there is good, I don't know if I could do the same. I wish for her to find peace and comfort with love and trust for the rest of her journey. So very sorry you had to endure such a painfully frightening experience.
🕊❤️🙏🏻
She gave me goosebumps the moment she sat down. The way she carries herself - and to see the words “human trafficking survivor” across the screen at the same time - she’s got an incredible strength inside her. I love this so much.
So incredibly brave to share her story publicly, to relive it time and time again just so we can be informed. Thank you Lurata, and I hope the rest of your days are filled with love and light and happiness!!
I just want to give this women a big hug. I’m so sorry you had to go through this ❤
Incredible is your survival, l hope so much for you that love and happiness now surrounds you every day - may the horrific ordeals you suffered encourage and hasten world action to eradicate this heiness crime of human trafficking.
so terrifying and sickening that things like this is 100% certain to happen the second there is war or a situation that the men know they won’t be held accountable for their actions. being a woman is so scary i really don’t understand why men hate us so much that they treat us like this every single time they get a chance to. this woman is so so brave i can’t imagine how tough it must have been to have to relive that whole experience by telling us her story
I’ve never thought of it like that but you are SO RIGHT! Across all countries and nationalities. Across centuries. Sorry your comment was very poignant for me
Men rule this world and think just because they are physically stronger than women they can keep us as stupid breeding cattle. Patriarchy is cancer.
@@chrissywalter it’s probably the only 100% certain guaranteed thing to happen if there was ever a war/apocalypse ect it’s so disheartening to think about
Thank you Lurata for telling your horrific story. I am so terribly sorry that this happened to you. It is hard to acknowledge that humans are capable of such depravity. We all need to know that this level of depravity exists if we are ever to evolve to a point where it is not allowed to exist in any population under any circumstances.
