I love her!!!

Yes! I love it! I’m having a scheduled c section as I had prior gyn surgery. She helped a lot! ❤️

men out there thinking they’re tough 😐
Most men are.
Right like tf
Of course they are. Physical or mental toughness can come from our experience, time and practice. As women face a lot of societal pressure and discrimination men also face a lot of societal pressure, toxic masculinity, isolation and other hindrance as such which can hurt them and force them to try to be as resilient as possible in the process(not always the case just giving an example)That being said, menstruation, pregnancy and after pregnancy is quite the tough journey for a woman specially cause it's physically painful and mentally exhausting. Of course men also play a major role into this as well. All thru my childbirth I was blessed to have my respective other really help me and care for me so I don't have to go thru it all alone like a lot of single mommies do out there you know and I really appreciate that. I also try to play an active role into my husbands mental and physical health.Men and women both should play active roles into each others lives u kno. That's what helps us grow and make each other's life a lot less difficult. I hope I made sense I was trying to be as accurate as possible.

only thing im scared of is the tearing and feeling the stitches, the epidural, & the catheter
so everything basically. (lmao me too)
Those were the exact things I was scared of and it went fine... when you're in the moment everything feels like nothing.. I don't know how else to describe it. But I'm pregnant again now and scared again lol but I know I'll be fine
Honestly, by the time you’re ready for the catheter and epidural, you won’t feel it - your contractions will be the only thing you’ll feel. The stitches if you have an epidural you also won’t feel happening it’s only after and they give you a peri bottle to help with pain.
If you get an epidural you won’t feel the catheter cause there is numb
Why not do a home birth then you wouldn’t have to worry about that
When you’re not pregnant not even in a relationship and just bored out your mind looking for random things to watch😅

The best birth control are pregnancy stories.
The uterus takes about 6 weeks to go back to it's normal size after delivery of a full term (38-42 week) baby. So, don't feel bad about having a bump for a while after having a baby.
Love, a nurse. :)
Where was this info when I gave birth! I asked the nurse in recovery... what is happening with my tummy? 😅

Someone please help me understand how my grandmother gave birth to 14 children😭
Oh wow. I've had 4, but wow!
Condom broke
They didn't use protection and didn't really think it was odd.
Many say: The more kids you have, the easier it is to get pregnant (and) the labor will be easier.
The theory is that giving birth is like most physical activities. During the first time, your body is stressed out, confused, and learning what to do. As you do the activity more, your body is like "Oh, I kinda understand now"
You're mother is amazing!!! I hope she has the biggest mother's day possible. My mom had 9 children and we love her so much
I wish women were taught pain management for labor. Just gave birth to my first son- all natural and no meds. Contractions were easy to deal with because I knew breathing techniques and positioning that helped a ton. Pushing was more painful but I just focused in on what my body was telling me to do and gave birth to my baby boy ❤ believe in your body, ladies!
phew. I dunno why im watching this 37 week pregnant 😬😬 Going back to my hypnobirthing videos 😬
This is what i want to do plus a doula. I heard they help. Im not even pregnant though so maybe one day 😂
Can you share resources (books, trainings, etc) that you found helpful
totally agree!
they always say labor pain is so painful so I expected way worse kind of pain
but having bad dysmennorhea prior
the labor pain is same as my dysmennorhea pain just coming in 2-3 min waves
studies different breathing techniques in youtube but the one worked for me is inhaling through nose for 4 seconds and slowly exhaling through mouth for 8 second really helped manage the pain and helped me calmed down
for me being panicky and screaming just intensifies the pain
concentrating on my breathing when contractions comes in waves help me be calm
i also walk or in a balance ball
just lying down I can feel the pain more
Woman are born to do this 💪
i feel so empowered I conquered my fear of delivering my child
If you’re pregnant or planning to be, please don’t scare yourself with listening to horror stories. Giving birth is a natural thing, humans and animals have done so since the beginning of life. The things that happened to others might not happen to you, don’t let stories scare you. As a pregnant woman, protect yourself and your mental health by not listening to all the horror stories. It’s very easy to get sucked into the negatives. Take care of yourself, you are on an amazing journey, creating life. Stay healthy beautiful💖
Thanks, Karen.
Yes, any woman or girl wanting to get pregnant 🤰 should watch videos like these ones and not ones that sound like horror stories. These ones sound like documentaries but interesting ones that keep you hooked and wanting to see through the end
Thank you for the sensible comment!
Yeah you're right to m say that but I think it's important for women to know the risks. If my epidural is not gonna work or that I might fall into a lot of possibilities I'd like to be mentally prepared beforehand....but yes it's doesn't get downright homicidal for all women so it's important to keep that in mind. And I wish you well for your pregnancy ♡
@@nataliawashington872 I must say ur a unique person....I personally wouldn't find such videos interesting since I am pregnant and any of these things might happen to me but I hope I have the strength to endure whatever that comes and have the healthiest birth possible for me and my baby.

If it’s any comfort to anyone, I think these stories would have scared me to death if this is all I had to go off of before I had kids. I’ve had 3 natural births (1 at a birth center, 2 at home with midwives), pregnant with my 4th, and though it does get painful, the amount of hormones that kick in towards the end when you hold your baby is amazing! Our bodies were made for this! Birth is a beautiful and natural process. I just don’t want any first time mommas to get discouraged or anything by hearing the horror stories. It’s a very empowering experience. You can do it! ❤️
Oh wow Thank you for this...I'm due end of July and I'm watching this super scared of what's about to come cos my tolerance to pain is soo low..your words have really encouraged me that everything will be ok..God bless your heart 🙏🏼❤🥺
@@thandekamasango3095 Being a first time mom is very scary. You're going into uncharted territory. It's usually the unknown that scares us, no matter what the situation is. You'll do fine. Just try to stay optimistic. Be as prepared as you can. I know you can't account for everything, but the more you can prepare for the better. If you want to deliver in a hospital, go there before you go into labor and get to know the labor ward. My hospital let me go tour their ward and fill out forms ahead of time. I'm so glad I did. I can't imagine filling them all out when I went into labor. If you haven't already, make a birth plan and share it with your doctor/midwife. Don't just assume they know. The actual delivery might not go exactly as you want it, but at least there will be something to go off of. One thing that nobody told me that I wish someone did, was that it's OK to be scared. Giving birth is scary and hard work, but it'll be OK. All kinds of emotions and feelings go through you the closer you get to your due date and every one is OK to have. You said you're due the end of July. You're almost there. You'll be fine. Pretty soon, you'll have your baby and this experience wouldn't be unknown anymore. That takes most of the scary or of it, I promise you that. I recommend getting the Epidural. That did help a lot. I fully believe I got to bond better with my baby because I didn't have the pain associated with my baby. Maybe that's just me though, but it did take away the pain. That's for sure. I'm terrified of needles but I'll never regret that one. I didn't see it or feel it. And it didn't have any effect on my baby. I had an older women kind of judge me for getting one saying I drugged the baby. But it doesn't. Sorry it's a long post. Pregnant moms, especially first time moms have a special place in my heart. Probably because I remember being one. Like I said, you'll be just fine. Sending good thoughts your way. Good luck. 👍
@@shota7483 Bless your heart..thank you for taking your time to write this..I'm grateful for every advice I get from women who've already been through it..I know they say every experience is different but just knowing that no matter what it's possible that makes it a little less scary.Love and light to you♥️

Transition
Seems like I’m gonna die then if it’s worse than period.
Basically the thing every period in your life has been preparing you for but I guess it's a good thing we got epidurals now ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Yes, it’s a period cramp x50. Because period cramps are literally your uterus contracting, exactly what it does during labor. The real difference is in what your uterus is trying to expel, during periods its just trying to expel that thin endometrial lining that comes out as blood but during labor it’s trying to expel a small human 😂
Exactly because my periods are so bad, I become catatonic if I don't have a pain reliever. Can't move my limbs and can't speak for like two hours. Childbirth seems like.... oof, I might actually die lol :/
Well then start saying your goodbyes
I think I did way better with labor because I was used to pretty bad period cramps so it might not be as bad as you might think
Bless all these brave courageous moms
My pregnancy was totally fine, off course your body changes but if you go with the flow and don’t resist it, then all is fine. You will off course often require rest and many things you used to do will have to be put on hold, but it’s for a good reason! Delivering a baby wasn’t that dramatic in the end. I went roughly 10h without meds and I had complications, so it’s been probably more painful according to the midwives than it would have been if the baby was positioned correctly. But I definitely would do it all over again. We talk only about some hours of your life and if you want, you can get an epidural, which is what I chose after 10h of contractions every 2-3 minutes. It’s intense but it’s definitely doable. The week after birthing is off course very special and you are vulnerable. Things must heal and you are also emotionally very raw. My husband and I were crying all the time because we were so touched by her arrival. Now at 3 months she sleeps already in her own room and is a happy, calm and easy going baby. It really does not at all feel like what people described to me before I had my own daughter. People used to scare me of how tired and exhausted I would be.. well, no, it’s not as tiring as people say if you get some help during the night and have a partner who is supportive. Off course it also depends on the child, but I always say: happy parents, happy baby
"There's milk flying out of your breasts that you have to feed your child somehow " I can't 😂😂
Sabrina Nseya I loved her responses lol

Melissa c “Childbirth doesn’t hurt that much”
You forfet everything once you see the little angel you brought to the world 😇 it is an amazing feeling you feel like a superhero
Firstly, you shouldn't generalize. Secondly, why should they our society has only become so advanced because of specialization. Not everyone can know everything. Furthermore, would it really make a difference if they did? Lastly, in our day and age pregnancy is a choice there are enough options to not have a baby.
I don’t know anything so who can blame them?

Joseph Yi That is literally the definition of “toughness”, being able to withstand pain.
Joseph Yi depends on who’s fighting
I am not man bashing by any means, both genders have their own skeletal structures etc that give them different strengths and weaknesses. Women are made for childbirth and can handle that type of pain is all I mean.

I'm pregnant now and I'm studying a lot for it.
Well how did it go?!
How was your birth? I disagree because you can do everything to prepare and like me I had to have an emergency C-section
Yes there is for instance hypno birthing! When I went into labor I was able to manage the pain with the breathing, but unfortunately my daughter was positioned incorrectly so at some point it wasn’t really proceeding as it should despite the contractions. At that point I was really happy to get an epidural but next time I would still try it without meds.
Maybe this wasn’t the best thing to watch while I’m pregnant

Congrats! It all seems so scared right now but the moment you hold your baby in your arms you know that all the pain was worth it! Hopefully you will have an uncomplicated birth and a healthy baby!🙏❤
not gonna lie the accidentally pooping and having stitches scares me the most, I'd be so embarrassed
pooping is like totally normal during childbirth. But i understand the stitches part.
It's embarassing... But to people that help to deliver hundrets of babies it's totally normal. Happened to me both times, who cares? XD
I've had two vaginal, unmedicated (no meds during labor and birth) births at a birth center and I didn't poop during either one! I did tear just a little bit with my second but you seriously don't even feel the tearing or being stitched up - I mean, it's no big deal after pushing out a baby. I hemorrhaged after each baby so they gave me a shot of pitocin and two Cytotec pills to stop the bleeding. Cytotec makes you have diarrhea, so both times I pooped while in the bed, but it happened well over an hour (maybe 2?) after birth and by then you're in an adult diaper and they have chux pads on the bed. The first time I remember saying to one of the midwives, "Oh, damn. I thought that was a fart," and they laughed and said, "Whatever! Everybody poops." The second time I was expecting it but didn't get up soon enough to be in the bathroom. I just let it rip and my husband looked at me and said, "REALLY?" By the time you've had a baby and everyone in the room has seen your vagina (well, at a birth center it's a lot fewer people than a hospital), you just don't care. And if you breastfeed? Pppssshhh. I have to feed this baby and do a million other things. I don't have time to care about what other people think!

lauren if this video is enough to turn someone from wanting to not wanting kids they clearly weren’t that invested in having kids anyway.
In comparison to what I’ve had other women tell me about birth, this video is pretty tame. I grew up with tonnes of mums telling me that birth is ‘the single most painful thing I’ll ever go through’ and I’ll ‘feel like I’m dying’, yet that didn’t make me not want kids. this is more like “ answers questions you’re afraid to *know* “
I am CRYING I don’t want to go through this but I want a baby 😭
I've had both get a c section so much easier
Donye Keesee
Just adopt 🤷🏽♀️
True
Adoption meh friend
It's a process but it's probably worth it
Hearing about it was scarier than any horror film I've ever watched.
C-section mommy was so funny... Love all these wonderful ladies.
If my periods send me to the ER.....
Then a pregnancy would send me to my grave....
I think I'll pass on that one....
Yeah you will pass at that one alright 😑😏
Actually women who have painful periods have better labors usually. It’s kind of like your periods are training you for labor so tge worse they are, the better for labor and birth
@@mikilynn471 my mom had a hard time giving birth and she had terrible cramps which would make her faint for days so I think I'll stay single for good...
I think you might have endometriosis...talk to your doctor because they shouldn’t sending you to hospital.
0o0 _ that’s why i said usually it’s better, not everyone is the same.
Periods are enough, please let the men have the baby
-to mother of nature
YES
I’m so excited about being pregnant though! Not excited about labor though 😂
YES PLZ😭
Lmao I'M SO SORRY BOYS BUT YES PLEASE
YES
And that is why a mother's love is unconditional:) the sacrifices for our kids:) mom of more kids than all these ladies here:) to those that can't seem to believe its worth it, people pay good money to go through IVF, it's such a blessing to get pregnant and give birth❤
The process can make you feel incredibly powerful as well - to see what your body and effort is capable of.
I like honest information like this. I'm personally the most terrified of tearing and pooping. 39+2 weeks today and baby will be here really soon.
You mean “How to scare yourself before giving birth”😩😆
Or... what to expect when expecting? Better to be prepared than to go in unknowing. While not the same, I watched "horror videos" of all the bad things that could go wrong with my elbow and knee surgeries before my surgeries and then I read the paperwork I had that went with them. It was actually helpful cause I knew why my joints were numb/heavy and why I couldn't move my fingers or toes and then I learned of abnormal symptoms so I could get help before it was too late.
I’ve had four and only got an epidural with the first. It’s not as bad as some people say it is. The contractions are like really bad period cramps and then they’re super super intense for the very last few minutes.
@@katesims8028 you are a heroine we can all look too. My sister scared me into getting epidural , and I'm only 2 months.
Currently 10 weeks pregnant (first time) and im extremely scared 😞
Priscilla Martinez congrats! I’ve been doing a lot of reading and making sure I know all my options. That helps a lot! I’m due in 2 weeks and feel way more prepared and not so scared now.
woman have to go through so much it's literally so irritating 🤦🏽♀️.
@Kjirsten Hess Men have a higher chance of dying from cancer, strokes, heart disease, pnumonia, HIV, coronavirus, and many other diseases. And a far higher chance of dying from suicide, accidents, or murder. Men by nature live several years less than women. Men also do almost all of the very dirty, dangerous, and important jobs. Construction, shipping, sewer work, etc. And have a higher chance of suffering extreme injury. I am a man and I'm not complaining about this. That's just life.
I by no means mean to to put down women. Giving birth is the single most extreme and important act. We all owe the greatest respect to our moms.
@Kjirsten Hess No problem :)
@Kjirsten Hess As a true, proud Swede I am very offended!!!
It's just my internet pseudonym. I'm sadly not Scandinavian
@Kjirsten Hess I like Norwegians. I've met quite a few while traveling
@@bjornlarson5211 I've done the research, and men have a more likely chance of actually developing cancer because they're more likely to encounter carcinogens through cigarette smoking or auto body and factory work. And another stat is women are more likely to see a doctor if they're having a problem. So the statistics of them dying would definitely increase! And also, when it comes to suicide, women are more likely to try and kill themselves (3-4x more likely) but men, are more likely to die from it. “One is that men use more lethal means [to attempt suicide], and the second is that they don’t seek care as much,” "Men are more likely to use firearms and other deadly methods, while women are more likely to use pills." Also, when it comes to mental illness, women are more likely to seek help. But what you are right about is for the most part, men do *most* of the "dangerous jobs".. but what you're wrong about is saying they do the *important* jobs.
Ladies who are scared after watching this video - I’m a 5’1 100 lb narrow-hipped girl and I had four babies naturally. My biggest baby was 8 lbs. Our bodies are incredible - you can do it! 💪🏻
Omg I’m 4’11 and pregnant and I’m so nervous bc I’m so tiny!
Idk what it is but pain has always excited me. I enjoy things that hurt and I’m actually pregnant right now and I’m more excited than anything
The thing that sounds the scariest for me is the tearing. I was with my sis when she was in labor and I think I'll be OK but the thought tearing just terrifies me.
You know, I barely felt the actual tearing when it happened, and I was using no pain relief.
Its like if you had an elephant standing on your butt for the last 2 hours. If you got a 1st or second degree tear on the last push, you'd just be so relived it was over.
Now afterwards is another story, however. 😆 lots of ice, please.
Susie Unger From comparing my labor and delivery to that of friends, it’s pretty common to tear and it’s not so bad really. I had a second degree tear but the epidural meant I didn’t feel it nor the stitching and nothing feels different down there. Kegel exercises are suggested to help with elasticity and to prevent bad tearing. But also, try not to think about it 🙃 Think positive thoughts about your labor and delivery! All the best
Honestly you really don't feel the tear. I didn't believe it when they said you forget the pain when you're holding you child, but you really do. It's so easy to forget you just gave birth. Yeah the pain is there, don't get me wrong. But you just push through it for that baby. I had 12 stitches myself.
The contractions hurt so bad that you don't feel it. Once the shoulders are through it's smooth sailing.
I felt like a friggin superhero after mine. The nurses were trying to get me in a wheelchair and I was like, "my legs still work. I could run a marathon right now!!"
@@ebonyshadow5182 yes! Everything before the shoulders was painful but after the shoulders to me was easy. I'm glad I wasn't the only one who felt like that lol
"There's milk coming out of your breasts going everywhere, and you have to somehow put it in your child's mouth" that's the funniest thing I've ever heard in my entire LIFE
She was my favorite 😂😂😂
My mom had to have a C-Section [she was sick so giving birth would have been dangerous] and they gave her a shot to numb the pain, and she felt all of it- MY MOTHER IS WONDERFUL I LOVE HER-
I’m 28 weeks right now and I’m super scared of labor, but also super excited for my little boy to get here.
Omg the woman who had a c-section was so funny. Loved her humour
Yes so funny...I really loved her
She killed me
@@skoz3342 rip😞💔
Yes I agree🤣❤️
@@st4rmonii bruh 😂😂
"... After the head gets out, the baby just shoots out and I remember seeing it blerplublob"
This had me laughing so hard 😂😂
This is cool for people who just want to have a couple babies. Would love to hear more perspectives of moms who have had more kids, like a lot more lol. Body changes, did they change up whether they had epidural or not, want to hear from women who've experienced multiple births in different ways, at home vs. hospital etc
my MIL has a friend who had 8 babies and she’s done all types of births, natural, epidural, home birth, c-section
@@jasmineconway3790 I'm sure she'd be so cool to hear from!
Omg! I love you ladies. Your stories are sooo funny but true and I’m scared as heck!
I adored all of these mom's but the "wild wild west" sent me she is hilarious
Emlyn Sherwin I want more in depth of her story! She’s hilarious and I’ve never really heard much about c section experiences
Alternative title: scaring kids to the point that they don't want to have children
yes, very accurate.
I’ve never wanted kids and this is just cementing that idea into my head 😂😂
Yeah I think I'm just going to adopt....
I never wanted kids, nor even adopt, and this basically just confirmed how I feel about pregnancy. A big fat NO for me.
I got that vibe..glad I quit watching XD
I didn’t want to leave ! It felt like the Ritz 🤣 this lady is hilarious 😆
I'm 30 weeks pregnant and just watching these keeps making go between excited and super nervous lmao
“Did you poop while giving birth?”
“I pooped mid-air.”
😂😂😂😂
Fun Pregnancy Story: When my mom went into labor the doctor wouldn’t give her the epidural because she was so close to having the baby, when he told her that she went full exorcist and grabbed the doctor and told him she is getting the epidural. Needless to say she got what she wanted.
What a queen 🤣👑👑
I would have done the same trust me. I don’t think you can tell a pregnant woman she’s not gonna get the epidural because if you do she will flip out or at least I would😂
My goodness you women are such a bunch of wusses.
@@arpitabrahmachari7649 so getting pain medicine to help with pushing out a watermelon sized baby out of your vagina is seen as being a wussie?
@@kamranhussain7221 idek what "epidural" is, but she went against the doctors advice, just to save herself from some pain. This woman in particular is
definitely a wussy.
This honestly made me feel a lot better and less anxious about giving birth. I’m due in September and it’s gunna be my first. Definitely nervous on how it’s gunna go
So cool to see disability representing, especially chronic pain and mobility problems associated with ankolysis spondylosis!
Sometimes having a condition like this discourages me from going ahead with birth and motherhood.
why am i watching this i'm a fifteen year old virgin
Morbidly curious, probably 3Am, the UA-cam algorithm.
The list goes on.
Me too😂😂😂
Least your learning 🤷♀️ a lot of people older than u dont understand anything bout pregancy
Self respect comes first
So you can stay a virgin for as long as possible lmao
Yes it is one of the most intense things you'll ever do. I have done it. It was crazy intense and postpartum was one of the hardest times in my life. Still worth it. I'll probably do it again.
I’ve been told by my doctors that I have a high pain tolerance and that things like giving birth, breaking bones, etc won’t be so bad. I can take a lot of pain so I’m glad I’ll be able to take it. I’m still a bit scared for when I want to have kids when I’m older.
Why am I watching this, I’m literally a child myself-
Same but I have been in a labor room and I'm terrified the way my mom and kinda aunt talked about an epidural like I cringe tbh
Same 😌
same
It's curiosity child.
Never again disrespect females!! My god all of this is sooo hard and you go through so much pain and you deliver a human being to this world. Nothing but respect for all mums!!
@A M
There is nothing moral about giving birth. Forcing people into existence who never asked to be born. It is hardly something to respect.
J D 😂😂😂😂😂 omg please just shut up
J D Everything is invented or created without asking beforehand. Humans undergo the same process of all material manifestations. Just because you didn’t ask to be here doesn’t mean you don’t belong. Human existence and the creation of such is as moral and respectable as the creation of all other objects in the universe. It’s a beautiful process.
J D ummm how are we supposed to “ask” a fetus, “do you want to be born?” Like 🤦♀️😂😂
@Lily Pie Diy
Why didn't wealthy, extremely good looking, blue/green eyed people like Charlize Theron and Leonardo DiCaprio repr0duce any kids ?
This was so comforting
I wish you had had more positive birth stories sprinkled in here because everyones birth stories are different, its good to know what may happen, the good and the not so pleasant. We need to support all births vaginal, with meds, no meds, c-sections, all of it!
I don't get period cramps so I cant even imagine what labor feels like
I noticed some women and girls say that. How come you don’t get cramps? That’s all I know lol 😭
Me too I don't feel cramps
It’s uncomfortable but not the worse thing in the world.
Id compare cramps to the pain you feel when you are bloated, but more centralized. You feel sore, and sometimes it feels like those indian burns some meanie would give you in elementary school but in your abdomen and consistent.
LeMell From what I have read, some women are lucky and don’t get cramps. I think the statistic was that 33% of women don’t get cramps. Lucky ducks.
this isn't for me, I cannot possibly go through this...
Silvícola same
Then don't.
Me too
This was actually very helpful. And the comment about the "wild wild west" totally cracked me up! 😂🤠
Imagine a man having to go through this we’d be extinct
How would you know
That’s a big assumption
Men act d/ad for catching cold 😭
Kaylee Kat not an assumption it’s just true
Women were born for this purpose not men. If the men were the ones to give birth and not women we women wouldn't feel the pain. I'm tired hearing women be trying to compare men to when a woman gives birth.
This was a fantastic birth control ad. Thank you so much!
