Kimberly Sparrow ask as soon as you feel uncomfortable pain. Sometimes they take about 45 minutes to work I’ve had two babies 😁 also, it might take the anesthesiologist some time to get to you. You don’t want to wait until you’re in too much pain. Generally they let you when you’re about 4 cm. I hope this helps hun have a safe delivery!
DOEDOETATTED Yup! One of my nurses was awful and announced to my mum, husband, and cousin (aka everyone in the room) that I had pooped, and then DIDNT WIPE IT AWAY. I had to literally yell and ask them to clean it because I was uncomfortable before they bothered to.
This video should be part of every labor & delivery RN degree program. Preface the video with "if you don't have this attitude, find another career." You are awesome.
Exactly cause I had a nurse who I told I didn’t like cause I was so much in pain that the nurse went and called social worker on me because I said something while I was in pain about her but all I said was that I didn’t like her so no not all nurses are kind and heartfelt
@@amandamartinez2067 maybe she never really wanted to end up as a delivery nurse but had to pay the bills? Or maybe she was new and didn't yet understand enough?
Me 💯 just because I’m not a person to apologize for how I feel and I know I’m going to cuss everybody out not being mean just swearing cause it’s natural to cuss reacting to pain, and I know a lot of the nurses may have a problem with that.
I'm just engaged and have no idea when we'll be ready for a baby, I just like researching this stuff cuz being a woman with the body parts to make babies, I just feel it's a good idea to be prepared for whenever it might happen 💗
I know this is an old video but my nurse stayed over her shift time to deliver my daughter. She got sprayed in amniotic fluid as my daughter came out and after she showered she came back and hugged us and kissed my cheek. It was my first delivery and I was terrified! She was the best nurse I have ever had anywhere other than my OB nurse. We even have a picture with her framed in our living room. Labor and delivery nurses rock!!!
This! 🙌🏻 my nurse also got sprayed with a bunch of blood! All over the her, the wall, everything! She was young. I was scared but she kept so calm and stayed! My daughter was already delivered and the main doctor had to raise her voice for her to go get a shower. She also came back and was so sweet. I honestly miss her she was that sweet 😂💕
My nurse stayed 6 hours over when she had already worked 12 hours straight! She was amazing & didn’t even care that I pee’d on her when she broke my water🙈 She was practically my third support person (I had my husband & mom with me) & rocked!
I FOUND OUT I WAS PREGNANT THIS MORNING. Edit: omg, guys, i love y'all. I'm 7 months now! 3rd trimester babes. Baby is healthy and so is mommy ❤️ AND ITS A BOY!
Congratulations! Welcome to the club. Hang in there, the nausea goes away. You know that "glow" they talk about? It's internal. It comes from seeing the bump grow and feeling the baby wiggle 😄
Mikayla Martinez you’ll find *at least* one nurse that will be stuck in your mind for ages for being genuine and sweet to you. Good luck & prayers for safe delivery!!🥰♥️
I wish all nurses were as nice and patient as her. She’s someone who seems she actually likes her job. I’ve had the misfortune to come across medical professionals who are completely rude to you without reason.
I’m a nurse and I’ve seen that too. It sucks for us nurses when we see and have to work with these people too. Why get into nursing if you don’t have compassion to share.
@@saraboenisch8911 I'm a nurse too and I TOTALLY agree with everything you just said. Some people should not be in the profession. It hurts me to see those rude people making patients feel bad. I just want to slap them, I usually verbally slap them really well!
I had AWFUL experiences at OB triage while in labor, it was terrible during labor of both of my children. But the actual labor and delivery nurses were much kinder and more helpful. I had lovely postpartum nurses!! There are definitely people who are more suited for the profession
I had a rude hospice doctor/nurse? Idk it was 1am and the hospital was empty. The on call doctor wasn’t there when I got there and I was crowning. I wanted to push so bad but the doctor/nurse lady wanted me to keep my knees pointed at the ceiling until the OB got there AND when I screamed in pain she told me to be quiet because i was scaring the other women. The pain was intense and my 8lb son tore me up!😂😬 My left side RN was awesome through the screaming tho. I ended up letting my knees fall outward and my son came right out. 2 months later I got a refund check because an OB wasn’t in the room when my son was born. I should have saved myself the painful ride to the hospital and prolonged birthing experience and just had my son at home.
I’m 40 yrs old, 27 weeks pregnant with a boy. My first pregnancy and I’m absolutely terrified of all the things that can go wrong. Your video helped calm me down and answered a few questions. Thank you! I hope I get a nurse as awesome as you!
I'm so happy to hear everyone's fine! I'm on the track to be an old first time if ever mom too. I'm already 35 and I still can't even really imagine getting pregnant. Used to have an outright phobia of it and I more want to want to have a child than would actually want one
“Poop everywhere for all I care” - Thank you from a mom who pooped while pushing. Super grateful for the nurse who had to wipe while keeping a straight face, I adore you!
@@kylie3580 When I had my second baby it was in a military hospital. A male medic was doing the nurse thing on the end where the poop happens. I was mortified!! Even worse was that that medic was in church the Sunday my baby got baptized. So embarrassing. That was 48 years ago:-)
I labored the whole 12 hr shift with this one particular nurse... at 7pm she reported off to the evening nurse and we said good bye. As she was on her way out to leave for the night (about 15 mins later) she passed our room and noticed I had just started pushing (finally!).. you know that nurse came right in, coat on and pocketbook in hand and cheered me on until the baby was born (luckily it was only a few pushes and 10 mins later). what an angel! i will always remember that!
When I worked L&D, I always stayed if my patient was anywhere remotely close to delivering! Nothing made us more upset than having to leave after you’ve spent 12 long, hard hours with a woman and you don’t get to see the baby-the end result! Lol-plus, of course, we all want to get to hold our babies that we helped come into the world!
Denise Bone that is so sweet. I’m a nurse as well.. I work adult icu and it’s soo much sorrow a lot of the time. I always think how wonderful it must be to delivery babies into the world everyday for a living ☺️
Aww I had a traumatizing labor and delivery and I had a nurse her name was angel. She was the only nurse that was nice to me actually and she got off shift and she waited 2 hours til my emergency c section was done and she was the only one who came to see me in recovery and I just about bawled lol. I WAS SO ALONE! and in the recovery room my husband had to be with our daughter in nicu and when I saw her as she came and squeezed my hand and she apologized for how my labor and delivery went and how traumatizing it was I just looked at her and was like you have no idea I couldn’t have done this without your support so thank you. I never saw her again and I’m praying I see her this time around 4 years Later but we will see. I’m going for a scheduled c section this time so I don’t know how many nurses I’ll have but I hope I can see angel!
I’ve been in women’s health for 10 years , 8 of which were spent on L&D and absolutely everything you said was exactly correct!! Loved this and will definitely share!
I had one nurse that was sooooo good with my colicky baby I couldn't swaddle her tight enought this woman came In swaddled her BOOM! My baby coo,d herself back to sleep some of these ladies really do have a true gift💖💖💖
Just based on this video alone I know she's a great labor nurse. 👏👏👏👏 I had a nurse just like you when my first born was on his way. She even massaged my swollen legs and wiped my lady bits when I used the restroom. She was right by my side the entire time and was so encouraging. She was so sweet, I will never forget her.
thanks for sharing this. this is reassuring to hear as my first will be due in August. I feel so embarrassed at the thoughts of those things, but will try not to. nurses are angels on earth. at least yours sound like one.
@@Drymouth11 I was super embarrassed! lol but with the amount of pain I was in the embarrassment went away and I just wanted to be taken care of and they did just that. You have nothing to worry about and if you do always voice your concerns and ask all the questions! You'll do an amazing job and I hope you have a smooth delivery :).
I was so scared to poop 😂😭 and when I gave birth I pooped! I asked my nurse did I poo during birth? She looked at me and said no, you did beautiful. I asked my husband and he said yes you did shit 🤦🏻♀️
Same. I asked my nurse if I pooped and she didn't answer so I asked her again and she said no. I said I know I did because I can smell it. Lol. Nobody in the room acknowledged it. Haha
I wish you could be my nurse, you're just AMAZING!😢 I had a horrifying experience when I was 15 weeks pregnant, woke up in a pool of blood and when I got to the hospital I was checked and I wasn't even warned that she would stick her finger inside me and she did it so roughly. After she checked me she just said "You had a miscarriage" with no emotion whatsoever and walked away. I was in tears and couldn't believe that someone could be so cold. I didn't want to accept that my baby was gone and so I sat up and put my hand on my belly and pleaded with God to please fix whatever went wrong. I was admitted and kept praying to God to save my baby. The bleeding stopped and only later that night the gynacologist was available and did an ultrasound and there my baby was sucking his thumb looking so perfect and I cried with relieve that he was okay 😢💙 I am so grateful that I am now 31 weeks pregnant and will meet my little one very soon. I just pray that God assigns caring and lovely nurses to help me deliver my baby.💙
I feel like you're setting the standards really high for us, lol. If I get a nurse any less compassionate and caring than you, I'll be disappointed lol.
I’m due October 2021 and I have so many worries about my delivery. I hope I get a nurse as kind as you. I’m a CNA so I know what a big difference it makes to have a good nurse when you’re vulnerable and need help... especially going to the bathroom or in this case pushing a baby out of your lady bits. This answered a lot of questions! Thank you!
I had a stillborn 01.19.18. I called my dr because I knew something was off. I was right!!! But I’m currently 7weeks pregnant with my rainbow baby!! Praying for a healthy pregnancy and baby!!!
Can you be my labor nurse?! I’m tearing up just knowing how supportive you are for mother’s in labor! Please continue to do what you do and just love on those mothers in labor. I’m super appreciative of the video and you being the awesome nurse and person you are. 💜
I'm 5 months now with my first baby. I came across your vlog and I can't be happier. I'm getting anxious from reading all these protocols and restrictions due to Covid, and your positive mindset and friendly personality really helped calm me down. God bless you and I hope all nurses are like you around the world!
I wish you had been my nurse. #1.) I cursed with my first labor and the nurse told me that it wasn't necessary. Yup. 15 yrs later I'm still annoyed by that.
I had that issue with the second baby. She came super fast and I felt like someone stuck my hoo hoo with a hot iron I cursed and the nurse said "this isn't your first, don't be a baby about it" I almost punched her.
I was treated the same way. I was treated like a nuisance and completely ignored by the nurses. I was treated as if I was invisible and not even in the room.
I’m due in September and this makes me feel so reassured and at ease. Thank you. Nurses are some of the most kind, compassionate and INCREDIBLE people. 💗💗
As a certified doula and childbirth educator I find this is to be an amazing informative video! Any new mommy that has you as a labour nurse is a very lucky woman! I call birth plans, birth preferences, that way they appear more flexible. You are terrific!❤️
As a person that doesn’t want kids... how can anyone plan on having no drugs? Like... the pain is gonna be excruciating, and I can’t even handle heavy-ish period pain (luckily rare) What kinda super humans manage without pain medication when you know it’s available??
I gave birth to a high risk preemie baby almost 3 weeks ago, and something i will never forget the rest of my life is my delivery nurse. She was FANTASTIC. Not only calming our fears about our baby but being so encouraging and positive during my labor. It wouldn't have gone as well as it did if it wasnt for her.
I would have moved mountains to have a delivery nurse like you! My daughter is 12 and no I'm not expecting and honestly not sure how this came up in my recommended, but I clicked it. Unfortunately I had that nurse that told me "you know, crying isn't going to help anything" and "try to keep it down, it may scare the other patients" and it made me want to scream louder! Thank you for doing what you do to help women and babies come into this world with a great experience!
thatjerseyb i’m sorry you had such a poor experience. The care of laboring woman has definitely changed a lot in 12 years. I would be very shocked if one of my coworker said that to a person today.
@@Nurse_zabe i was mortified when she said it to me. But everyone else the rest of the time was super cool and awesome and very comforting and helpful. Just that one lady that was mad her shift was almost up and told me 'I guess I have to stay now' like I ruined her night.
thatjerseyb I had a baby two years ago. My nurse came in when I called for pain medication for my pain. And you can imagine the pain of a long first time labor. She saw that my pads beneath me had moved from me moving from all the pain and started getting mad saying “you made a mess.” And started to throw the blankets that were on me onto the floor. She said now I have to clean up after you. I was soooo mad at myself after I gave birth for not asking for a different nurse.
Is it weird that I cried because you made me feel really comfortable about my labor and delivery? I’m 18 weeks and you made me feel, calm ❤️. Thank you!
You are an amazing nurse. Most people just complain about doctors, nurses and midwives thesed days but what they don't know is our intention. We always want them to have a smooth delivery with a health baby.
I'm only 6 weeks pregnant and I hope I get a labor nurse half as sweet as you are. Current nursing student here, and I just wanted to say I can tell you really love your job. Thank you for being you!
I'm currently 21 wks with my own first and that's something I hope too. A rude nurse or doctor is the last thing you want to deal with while you're in labor.
If you arent happy with your nurse, say something! They'll gladly give you someone else. Everyone has their bad days and people come to work cranky and tired sometimes. But it's no biggie to ask for a new nurse to treat you.
This came up recommended out of no where (I mean..I am 39 weeks) and i was so worried that I was going to find out things that I had to seriously reconsider or that this was going to be condescending but this was SO ENCOURAGING. I know it's an old video but thank you for making this for us new mommas. I feel a little less scared now. 🤍
The night nurse when I was in labor kept shushing me and getting visibly mad. Thankfully I delivered with an awesome day nurse who was helpful and supportive. I wish all nurses were like you!
BOI I'd be furious. Like I'm a bitch on a good day, better not get pissy with me when I'm in labour because I'd throw something at them xD I'm happy you ended up having a good experience though!
Yup, my last nurse didn’t take me serious when I said how much pain I was in and that something was wrong. I went from 2.5 cm to 10 in 45 min and was pushing in triage.
My night nurse kept insisting I would want the epidural. The day nurse and I ran into her in the hallway after my delivery, she could not stop ranting about how well I did without the epi. Night nurse’s face was priceless.
I have seen these nurses and want to slap them! I’m so glad you got to see the right side of L&D in the end. I don’t care what’s going on in my life, no laboring mom deserves a crappy experience because I think she needs to labor a certain way.
As a labor nurse myself, I agree 100% with the thank you note (as well as everything else). I’m a relatively new L&D nurse and when I got my first thank you note, I can’t even begin to describe what it meant to me. It was EVERYTHING, and just made me feel like wow, I really had an impact on this family- that someone would take the time to sit and write something so real and heartfelt. It made my day/week, truly did.
Cause you are a good guy. Drawing from personal experience... get the car cleaned out if needed and install the car seat before going to the hospital. I say this because the trip home from the hospital is something I've never actually got over and made me loose serious respect and trust in his dependability (again this could just be me. I like to know things are covered and taken care of especially when I ask a person to their face if they completed said task) Don't make her set the new baby in the front seat so she can help you fight with the car seat and move crap around in the car...also cleaning person for a few times a month if it works in the budget.
I specifically searched for this video for like 10 minutes and I truly love everything you talk about and you remind me so much of the L&D nurse I had. She was the most amazing nurse I ever could have had. I had a back labor and she knew exactly where to put pressure in my back during contractions which was a huge help to me. And I’m talking even to the point where I started having a contraction right before I got my epidural and when I asked her if she could do the thing on my back she literally dropped what she was doing and ran across the room to my bed to help me. She was the real mvp of that day !!!! And she made the whole experience like a billion times better!💖
When I had my youngest son, a couple of hours after the delivery I started hemorrhaging. I suddenly found myself surrounded by nurses, one of whom was directing the team. I ended up losing about 2 pints of blood, but those nurses got me through the horrible experience. To this day (my son turns 21 in 2 weeks) I'm still grateful for what they did for me. I did send a thank you card, along with the biggest bouquet of fruit I could find. Had it not been for those nurses, I would not be here today getting ready to celebrate my son's transition into a young adult. I have so much respect for what you do, and it's because of nurses like you that I experienced the magic of childbirth. Thank you for all you do.
I’m a postpartum/baby nurse (I also float to L&D here and there) and I LOVE this list. Maybe you could make a postpartum version! You’re a great nurse.
I FREAKING LOVE YOU!! I am 34 years old and I am 15 weeks pregnant with my second child. BUT I delivered my first child 8 years ago. There is a lot that I have forgotten over the years. This video has calmed some of my worries and what if’s. Thank you for that and for the content you make!!
Hey... I just needed to say, I am an avid homebirther and usually try to stay away from hospitals due to past experiences but you my dear are a breath of fresh air. The world needs more nurses like you. Your heart really shines 💕 thank you for being so honest, kind, and open minded.
Wow, number 6 was triggering. I remember with my first birth I did not know that and my baby's heartbeat was not doing well and I was so scared and I felt so alone. While all along, a few rooms further, someone was always watching and keeping an eye on me and my baby. I actually had therapy to get over the trauma of my first birth and that knowledge was one of the healing factors. The second time around it was so reassuring to know that there was always someone watching us. So thank you for letting new mum's to be know!
I'm 35 weeks pregnant and scared as hell about giving birth. I really hope I get a nurse like her because she made me want to cry and be hugged by her.
My poor labor and delivery nurse actually got bitten I am ashamed to say. I have a severe anxiety of anything over my face. She kept replacing it because it kept falling off because I was doing unmedicated labor due to complications. I felt so so so horrible afterwards and apologized profusely.
Hi! Im 39 weeks and im heading to the hospital to be induced at 6:00am. I absolutely loved your video! It made me feel so much better. Relieved! Thank you for that!! ❤
I'm 2 days over due and feel the most calm I have for the past week, especially with all the COVID 19 changes! Thank you for this! Hopefully this baby comes soon!!
Sharon Gorski you’ll do great!! my sister had her baby recently and it was kinda nerve wrecking bc of the virus but everything went well! I wish you the best💗
That’s so funny it’s nighttime and I’m listening to her voice while falling asleep (just decided I wanted to comment and found this) I agree! Soothing voice and soothing messages :) happy memories of giving birth twice :)
I'm a labor& delivery and a postpartum RN also. I can relate to everything you've mentioned and I agree with everything you said. I'm so happy you made a video about these things. From one nurse to another thank you. Looking forward to your next videos.💜
So is a labour and delivery nurse different to a midwife? We only have midwives in Australia, I'm not familiar with exactly what a labour and delivery nurse is (in the context of the difference between a L&D nurse v midwife, obviously I have a pretty good idea what a L&D does). Also I'm an RN, so feel free to use nurse language lol
Giirl I wish Jamaican Labour Nurses were like this. Omg. They're not even the slightest bit compassionate. I was just crying cause I wanted to go home so bad. Hated my whole experience. Thank God we made it out safe.🙏🏾🙏🏾❤
All people dealing with scared and worried sick or injured people should be this calming and supportive. She is such an outlier when it should be so common
@@Nurse_zabe Honestly I would find it very interesting to know what is it about this profession that you love and why you chose it in the first place! I think it can be really hard for "outsiders" to understand, at least personally (like many people I think) I find the idea of birth completely terrifying and the job of a delivery nurse sounds incredibly stressful and hard overall "from away". But I'm sure things are different in reality and there must be reasons why you chose it and why you love it; and I think it would be very insightful to hear those reasons.
I apologized for pooping 🤣🤣 I felt bad. It stunk. But the nurses were amazing, they are so underrated. The nurses literally did everything bedsides break my water, and cut the cord and yell it’s a girl. The nurse was there the entire time I pushed until she was about to come out & the ob switched real quickly with the nurse. Recovery was awesome because of them. I gotta a lot of love for nurses!! ❤️

5 months in with my first progressing pregnancy! This was very helpfully 🥰 thank you! Baby dust to all and healthy full term deliveries for those also expecting ❤️
i can honestly say this is one of the most well spoken and professional nurses I've ever seen. I'm soooo grateful she went over all of this because my own doctor doesnt even tell me these things let alone these nurses that stick a catheter in me for no reason because she didnt eant to wait 10 minutes for me to use the bathroom and lie about how it was the only way to check for a UTI. Thank you so much for the video, it really gives me as a first time mom a lot of insight and im praying to God i get a nurse half as good and sweet and professional as you!!!!! Keep posting, your words of wisdom are so greatly appreciated!!!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Tyler Steele Lol 😂 Not laughing at you, but with you! I used to tell my pts. if you feel like you have to go, just go! Don’t worry about it! It’s perfectly natural & we actually usually expect it! My nurse manager in L&D got pregnant with TWINS while I worked there. She gave herself two Fleets enemas before she came to the hospital! 1. Enemas stimulate labor (I don’t know if they still do it, but it wasn’t uncommon to have to give the big enemas-“SSE HHH”-to stimulate labor if someone was moving slowly/if labor had stopped.), & 2. They clean you out so that you don’t have the pooping problem. Although it’s an option, ALWAYS confirm it’s safe/ok with your OB or midwife for you and your baby before you do it! And if you don’t want to do something like that, DON’T! It’s not required, it’s just for your comfort. We go into EVERY labor expecting women to pant, scream, grab us hard (please, watch the nails!!! 😬), curse, vomit during transition, poop, sweat like crazy, & pee!!! Any/all of the above are NORMAL & don’t bother or offend any of us! Good luck to all, & happy laboring!
hahaha same! every five minutes I kept asking if I was pooping. I had a mirror watching the entire thing and my nurse covered me up so well the only way I knew I was pooping was by my mom telling me it’s okay when I asked her 😂

Edit: omg, guys, i love y'all. I'm 7 months now! 3rd trimester babes. Baby is healthy and so is mommy ❤️ AND ITS A BOY!
Congrats
Congratulations! Welcome to the club. Hang in there, the nausea goes away. You know that "glow" they talk about? It's internal. It comes from seeing the bump grow and feeling the baby wiggle 😄
Congrats
Congratulations!! ❤️🤰
Congratulations!! I love hearing this!
I pray my delivery nurse is as genuine and sweet as you! I’ll be delivering very soon & I’m terrified but definitely helped a lot.

Same. I wish she could’ve been my labor and deliver nurse for my daughter

“Poop everywhere for all I care” I’m crying I love you and want to hug you
Haha me too, those were my exact thoughts when she said that. I want you as my labour nurse 🙌🏼
😊same.Shalom🍃🍃🍃
YES! This girl is an angel!
“Poop everywhere for all I care” - Thank you from a mom who pooped while pushing. Super grateful for the nurse who had to wipe while keeping a straight face, I adore you!
SandersonSister hahaha I pooped 8 times lol 😂
@@kylie3580 When I had my second baby it was in a military hospital. A male medic was doing the nurse thing on the end where the poop happens. I was mortified!! Even worse was that that medic was in church the Sunday my baby got baptized. So embarrassing. That was 48 years ago:-)
I didn't poop but I kept farting in the faces of my midwives and doctors 😳😳😳
Lois Robson Lol yeah I was mortified too lol 😂 luckily no male but my husband and doctor at the time.
Omg yes I pooped as well and my nurse just smiled and said I’m doing great and with one swipe she cleaned up the poop.
Mia's Mom my nurse was also on the way out and said she stayed in the hospital late to see my girl born!
The same thing happened to me!! She was so sweet and even came in the next morning for her next shift and visited us💓💓
Aww I had a traumatizing labor and delivery and I had a nurse her name was angel.
I know this video is old but even now it’s given me so much peace. Thank you ❤️

I had a nurse just like you when my first born was on his way.
I wish you could be my nurse, you're just AMAZING!😢
I had a horrifying experience when I was 15 weeks pregnant, woke up in a pool of blood and when I got to the hospital I was checked and I wasn't even warned that she would stick her finger inside me and she did it so roughly.
The bleeding stopped and only later that night the gynacologist was available and did an ultrasound and there my baby was sucking his thumb looking so perfect and I cried with relieve that he was okay 😢💙
I am so grateful that I am now 31 weeks pregnant and will meet my little one very soon. I just pray that God assigns caring and lovely nurses to help me deliver my baby.💙

What? I bet that if that nurse has ever given birth has cursed!!
I had that issue with the second baby. She came super fast and I felt like someone stuck my hoo hoo with a hot iron I cursed and the nurse said "this isn't your first, don't be a baby about it" I almost punched her.
Dude, I'm an L&D nurse and I'm NEVER bothered by people dropping f bombs left and right. If someone told me any of those things, I'd send them to hell
I was treated the same way. I was treated like a nuisance and completely ignored by the nurses. I was treated as if I was invisible and not even in the room.

I wish all nurses/doctors, no matter which field, would be as sweet and understanding as you are. Keep it up please, we need more people like you.

I'm currently 21 wks with my own first and that's something I hope too. A rude nurse or doctor is the last thing you want to deal with while you're in labor.
I hope your pregnancy is going really well! My niece is due on Monday, first baby of my siblings :) So excited.
If you arent happy with your nurse, say something! They'll gladly give you someone else. Everyone has their bad days and people come to work cranky and tired sometimes. But it's no biggie to ask for a new nurse to treat you.
If my man ignored the birth of our child I would leave him so fast. He’d be lucky to even hold the baby .
My guys first genius move was too look at me all doe eyed and go "I want another one..." If I hadn't been so tired he would have ended up in ICU LOL.
Have a great birth mama!!
How did your birth go?
My fiancé said “you just pooped!!!” And I freaked out. The nurse said, “don’t worry, I already wiped it away. I wasn’t even gonna say anything.” 😂😂😂

I’d be cussing her out and told her to not come back because obviously she wasn’t catering to you like she was supposed to
Yup, my last nurse didn’t take me serious when I said how much pain I was in and that something was wrong.
This was in my recommendations...
Not disappointed 😂
She seems so devoted and loves her job so much. I really admire that!
My pregnant wife is sleeping, why am I watching this? But I want this nurse to be there and help deliver haha
idcccccccc aww Hahha congrats! 🎊🍾🎈 pray everything goes well ❤️
Congrats!!
Its because u are such an awesome husband!
Nurses are fierce warriors! They're amazingly stoic and hardworking!
And now Im crying. You're a beautiful soul. I've had 4 babies and some nurses are jerks. Whoever gets you is lucky.

Labour and delivery/ post partum nurses are honestly angels!! I give you major props for the job you do!!! Thank you so much for what you do hun!
I’m pregnant with my first child
This gave me comfort and made me laugh 😊
Same here due in July
Giirl I wish Jamaican Labour Nurses were like this. Omg. They're not even the slightest bit compassionate. I was just crying cause I wanted to go home so bad. Hated my whole experience. Thank God we made it out safe.🙏🏾🙏🏾❤
You’re such a beautiful soul. I wish to have a nurse like you when I deliver my first baby. God bless you immensely. ❤️
Me? Not pregnant.
UA-cam recommendations? Screwed.
Hotel? Trivago.
Shaylin Apps Not pregnant but wanted to watch anyway!!
I love her attitude towards makign women feeling comfortable about pooping
All people dealing with scared and worried sick or injured people should be this calming and supportive.
She is such an outlier when it should be so common
Midway through this video i just want to scream PLEASE BE MY NURSE!! The love for your job is radiating through my phone 😩
Mycki J aw, thanks girl! Luckily most labor nurses love their job. It’s definitely a passion profession!
But I'm sure things are different in reality and there must be reasons why you chose it and why you love it; and I think it would be very insightful to hear those reasons.
same. i have tokophobia and zabey really made me feel like i could do it
I apologized for pooping 🤣🤣 I felt bad. ❤️
I ate at golden corral before I went to the hospital. Pooped while pushing my husband like it smells! Doctors and nurses didnt even flinch acted like they didnt smell it lmao
Yet we always talk about what doctor “delivered” our babies. It’s crazy.
Fitting that your name is Jasmine Booboo lol
Wish l could have you as my L&D nurse! So sweet, informative and obviously uber passionate about your job. We need more nurses in this world like you! ❤️
Sarah Stafford Thank you! I’ve found most labor nurses to be passionate about birth, thankfully! 😊💗
“Poop everywhere I dont care” 😂😂😂😂💀 I’ll be having my daughter on May 3rd so this makes me feel much better

Congrats!!!
Kenzie Ravenson almost birthday twin! I was born May 2nd
prince e pie Thank you ❤️❤️
Every single time I had a contraction I started screaming “I HAVE TO POOP!!!” I pooped 😂💀
Tyler Steele omg me too! I did apologize a few times for continuing to poop 😂😂😂
Tyler Steele omg that was me on my 2nd pregnancy 🤣😂🤭🙈🤫
hahaha same! every five minutes I kept asking if I was pooping. I had a mirror watching the entire thing and my nurse covered me up so well the only way I knew I was pooping was by my mom telling me it’s okay when I asked her 😂
I pooped all three time 😆
Labor and delivery nurses are seriously, hands down, some of the best people in.the.world.
I loved your video so much. I laughed, I felt your warmth and authentic care - truly lovely.
There's also something about your energy while listening to you that reminded me of the labor and delivery nurses I've had. Thank you for all that you do, and thank you for this lovely video!
