  • It was day 2 of our trip to St. Petersburg, Florida! We found a perfect spot to hang out and we also found some rough water. See how 3 Yamaha FX Cruiser SVHO's handled the big chop in the Gulf of Mexico, Tampa Bay and the surrounding areas.

    Just got my 2022 FX Cruiser SVHO the other day. I have a camp on a smaller lake in NH. Had a blast the past couple of days in the moderately calm water. I’ll be bringing mine to the North Atlantic in the upcoming weeks-looking to get some better air time!!!Thanks for posting. This was fun to watch.

With a few side trips to eat at Rod and Reel - Anna Maria Island to Miss Vicki's on the Anclote River , Whiskeys Joes on the Manatee or in Tampa Bay. Loved it!!! Besides slowing down were there any adjustments made (standing up, tilt, trim...etc.) to how you rode in the rougher water. I'll be riding in Narragansett Bay, off Newport, and out to Block Island (same model-R+W). I'm sure the learning curve will be quick. Sorry about the camera. Now, losing the hat would have been a whole other story. Looks like a bit of history goes with that hat. Thanks for posting. Always enjoy your videos.

    • @TheShipsLogg
      @TheShipsLogg  3 роки тому +1

      Adjusting the trim does help a bit if the ride gets too wet but it does get to a point where the waves get big enough and you are just going to get wet. I have to admit that I honestly forgot to adjust it many times because I was just having too much fun. You are right about the hat. Losing it would have been worse. I guess I realized it too. I have a tether for my hat if it happens to blow off. I did not have one for that camera! LOL!
