Japanese Mazda's medium-duty truck Boxer catalogs were published in 1969 and 1973.
This is Mazda's first full-scale entry into the medium-duty truck market.
The in-line 6-cylinder diesel engine installed in the Mazda CX-60 released in 2022 is
Dating back to 1987, production was discontinued after it was installed in boxers and other vehicles.
In 2022, the production of in-line 6-cylinder diesel engines has revived.

マツダが中型トラック市場本格的に初参入したモデルです。
2022年発売のマツダ CX-60に搭載の直列6気筒 ディーゼルエンジンは
さかのぼること1987年までボクサーなどに搭載されたのを最後に生産が終了され
2022年に直列6気筒 ディーゼルエンジンの生産が見事復活しました。
