Great video as always. Just picked up my 2024 Integra A Spec Tech 6MT a couple of days ago. Absolutely loving it so far. SI’s were marked up an extra $5k, so going this route was an easy choice. Especially with the dealership selling it at MSRP.
Very excited to make this my daily.
whats pros and cons so far bro im thinking of getting the manual shift
@@jesurunblends tbh, only con I can think of is that I wish it had a bit more power. other than that, I’ve been loving it as my daily. definitely go in for a test drive and see if you like it.
I know you're obviously the driver, but would lack of rear vents affect the people in the back in anyway? Some people are saying that the car is small enough for everyone to feel the AC. But when people step into my car, I want it to be an experience
@@crashb133 I’ve had people in the backseat many times and none haven’t complained one bit. Car is a good size for the front vents to do all the work.
My daughter picked up hers today. Good choice ladies👏👏👏👏👏🥰
Integra upgrades and differences from US Civic
I traded my Civic Si (2020) for a 2024 6-speed Integra. Below are the differences between the Integra and the Civic Si that helped sway my decision. As you can see below, there are way more differences (at least 50) than are spoken of in any UA-cam videos. Hope this helps those of you trying figure out the differences. BTW, as a former Si driver, I have ZERO regrets. The Integra retains the fun-factor of my Si, but gives me all the premium upgrades I was missing-such a great real-world daily driver.

Around me the Si is marked up to 32k-33k on average and the integras are all at MSRP. Seems like a no brainer to just get this for 4k more at that point.
I think it looks like a nice car, but it's just too slow for me.
That is a no brainer
@@mikemccormick6128I guess you can get the TYPE S
Si is more special since it’s not considered the “base” model. The integra is the Base. No red badging :(
@@porschegt2346 He's probably referring to the A-Spec Integra, which is not the base model. The A-Spec would be the equivalent to the Si, but with an added luxury feel.
I have the 2023 version (automatic). Had to get used to the CVT transmission, but other than that it IS a fun drive. Love how quickly , sharply and smoothly it handles. I think the best way to drive it is in sport mode. The sound system is great. It's a simple and great car.
Also have a CVT model. I notice how well the Integra "carries its weight" having come from a 320lb heavier sedan. From cornering, to effortlessly switching lanes, parking, etc. Also so much space in the engine bay should be very easy to work on.
@@realmac3k I love the lighter feel too.
Thanks for the feedback on sport mode!
@@bbartlow0307 I think it's the best handling, quickest, and smoothest ride of the car
Agreed. Love the car.
I love how you were so proud of not flubbing that alliteration at 0:22 that you had to pause for yourself 😂 Always love your reviews!
Just bought one today!
I was gonna trade in my 19 civic sport for an 18 civic si that acura had on the lot... ended up leaving with a platinum pearl white with the red interior.
It is a night and day difference between the 10th gen si and the integra.
Awesome car!
Congrats!!!!
@@bbartlow0307 appreciate it !
Should I get this or a Civic sport touring?
@@MC-ie8xlif you have the choice go Acura
It is much more comfortable and something you can comfortably cruise in while getting 46 mpg on long tours
@@MC-ie8xlThe acura, is a much more comfortable car to be in for commutes or long distance traveling. The ILS sound system is also phenomenal and is not even comparable to the civic. Got my a spec tech for 33 OTD. If you can bargain the price down, it's a lovely daily vehicle.
Ive had my integra type S for a few weeks now, its been a ton of fun.
It's an ACURA such a great car and they do last if you take care of them. Great Video Raiti!
I like the ilx.
Yes it's woefully outdated, but it has a k24, a CD player, and a magical 8 speed dual clutch.
I'd take old over new and know it'll last forever.
K24 is an awesome engine. They never should have discontinued it.
I would agree with you however when I was originally going to buy an ILX to replace my MINI in 2023, I could not fit in the seat because of my height.
If I had known they would’ve brought this out a few months later I would’ve got one no doubt
@@RetroKingOG I'm only 5'7" so I'm fine
Really cool car man... I was almost 100% sold on a new WRX, but these Integras are maybe a little more suitable for a dad pushing 40. LOL. I will say, I absolutely love the monochrome graphics on the screen, especially in the black car with the gray wheels, monochromatic interior, etc. I think it's a nice, clean, cohesive look.
I’m with you man, dad here as well. Don’t know about getting a Civic Si 6-speed anymore with this LA traffic. 😂 this integra looks very nice and comes in an automatic.
Integra is way more comfortable than a WRX. I test drove both and a new WRX felt like an old car vibrating everywhere and loud for no reason
@@sokratzmmfI bought a 23 WRX over the Integra. And you’re not wrong. I actually just traded it back in on a 24 Outback Wilderness as I missed the cargo space of my old 17 Outback.
The WRX is loud and rowdy and rough. It lacks refinement and comfort in almost every aspect of its build.
But it’s a whole lot of fun. As a daily? No way. Especially not with kids and dogs and all that. But as a fun car? Absolutely.
@@MatthewMorse Outback Wilderness is such a cool car!
@@sokratzmmf I'm definitely really happy with it. Obviously not as zippy as the WRX as they're wildly different cars, but a fun car for sure.
Great review! I love how positive you are and how you focus on the things the car does well. I’m seriously considering the Integra now.
I have one and I love everything about it!! Super fun sporty to drive and luxurious at the same time. Best of both worlds.
Congrats on buying an overpriced Honda Civic. 90% the same parts all on the same platform with different badges.
Thank you!!! It has 90% of civic reliability and 10% Acura’s luxury. Perfect combo.
@@jamye1993 luxury? 🤣😂😅😂🤣😂😂 they both have the exact same options. So please educate everyone here on what additional amenities this has versus the civic that makes it a luxury car? LMAO
The exterior is completely different. Acura is the luxury and performance division of Japanese automaker Honda, based primarily in North America. The brand was launched on March 27, 1986, marketing luxury. Inevitably, they both will share similarities but differ on many others.
@@jamye1993 let me translate. You just repeated exactly what I just said, but couldn’t answer the question. 90% of it is the same. The 10% is the exterior features. So again congrats on buying an overpriced Honda. And you completely avoided the question about what features in this vehicle make it a luxury vehicle.
I love mine! I had an 01 Integra SE and it was my first car. Had it for about 7.5 years. The 2023 is a solid and fun daily commuter. I saw a Type S recently and I still prefer my Aspec I genuiningly belive its more than enough. I agree with the ventilated seats would've been a nice addition but not a deal breaker. If you haven't driven a manual before this is a great car to start learning on. It has been an absolute joy to drive and row through the gears. Puts a massive smile on my face every day!
Honda knows how to make manuals... for sure.
Once I seen the type S, all other models look very boring. Too bad most California dealers are marking them up like crazy. Very detailed and informative review as always 😊👍
$38 k for a lousy 200 go? Too much. And not including dealer mark ups and add ons
I’ve owned a black 2017 Si for almost 4 years now, and i’ll admit the non-typeS integra did not get me exited. I would love to be able to drive a type R or Type S, but the price and cost of ownership would be absolutely crippling to me. I also hate that it’s not available as a 2 door.
This A-spec integra (black on black) has grown on me. It’s essentially an Si with a hatch. Here are some pros to the A-spec vs Type S to consider.
-lower initial cost
-the 1.5T has plenty of power to be fun and practical at the same time. At highway speeds it accelerates faster than 95% of cars on the road.
-cost of consumable parts and life of those parts is not even close. Tires, brake pads and rotors, fluid changes; all so much cheaper and so easy to DIY
-300+ hp would be a blast, but I’d be such an ass behind the wheel. Probably find myself risking jail time way more than i should.
-40+ mpg on the highway and my commute. I use less than 2 gallons of gas on a 70 mile round trip to work every day.
-In stock form I drive my Si HARD every single day. Red line multiple times every single day. 92,000 miles and I’ve had 0 issues. It’s sooo effortless to drive and balanced so well.
The Type-S gets me tight in the shorts for sure, but it doesn’t make sense for anyone making less than 6 figures. The 1.5T, a proper LSD, and the surgical handling these new Hondas have now makes the A-Spec an damn good choice for a daily driver.
$38k for a 1.5t is a rip off. Si is the better choice bc no one likes to get ripped off
@@ka124as i saw dealerships trying to sell the 2022 Si at 38k when they were released. I told one dealer salesman that you’ve gotta be an idiot to think an Si is worth 38k.
@@ka124as You must not put much thought into anything other than speed when it comes to buying your cars
I can’t believe Acura DOES NOT offer front seat ventilation on ANY of their Integras !!
There are also no rear vents and no heated rear seats in the US. There's no boost gauge either! Those are the only things I wish mine had
I drove my 6 speed 550 miles yesterday at 77 mph and averaged 40.5 mpg according to the car. I love the car; however I think seat comfort could be improved. Im 6’1” 180lbs
Ooooh 😃 that's good gas mileage. I like that. That's really all I care about, that and how cute a car is. And this car is real pretty. ☺️
I agree with you 100%, I traded in a 2018 GTI and went for the ASpec 6MT Tech. Ironically the last 6 speed I owned was a 2002 RSX Type S.
33,000 miles on my blue 6mt and I still look forward to driving it everyday!
I have the 2024 fully loaded (CVT version, so my gf can drive it too 😅) same exact black on black... LOVE IT!... the gas mileage is not there yet (currently 22city 36hgwy) I average 25mpg with 80% of city driving... after a 1000 miles it's still brand new so I can't say anything accurate maybe after 5000 miles. This car is the perfect daily driver and a smart decision (cheap long term maintenance cost). I used to own an Audi A6, Mercedes C300, a CLA 250 and a VW Passat, all with very high maintenance cost. I agree it is the best driving experience in sport mode, the cargo space is ridiculously big, full of safety features and tech... (more than in my Audi A6 for example) and honestly it is a good looking car in my opinion.
Thanks for sharing that great ownership experience!
My first choice would be a TLX but they mark those up too high so I would end up going integra! Nice car. Will get an Acura eventually
Hey did you end up getting Integra? If so, what trim and how is your experience so far?
@@user-mx7xr9xh9e hey boss not yet. As of now I still have a dodge charger but I might switch it up next year, and Acura is still my top choice right now. I love the lexus IS as well but priced a little higher, and those 2 are the most reliable in my opinion

id buy one if i could lol. prices are crazy now every dealer wants their extra share too
You are so very right about that!
I'll let ya in on a secret. If you use Costco's Auto Program, you get a discount, maybe $1000, and the participating dealer is not allowed to mark it up. No market adjustments, no extra BS. I learned that after every Honda dealer I talked to tried to jerk me around on an Si. If you don't have a membership, it's like $62. You can find a dealer through the site, but you have to have a member id number. That's how I'll be doing it in the near future
@@splinky45thanks for sharing that!
@@RaitisRidesYou're welcome.
I have an A Spec with the CVT. Wonderful car to drive with great handling and driving dynamics. I'm averaging 38 MPG in mixed driving. A few things are disappointing. It has no USB or power connections for rear passengers, no rear center arm rest, cabin road noise is high in my opinion, and it comes with no spare tire which is unacceptable at this price point.
incorrect in the A-Spec Tech you get rear passenger connectivity via USB-A ( integra a spec tech owner here)
The 2024 has usb type C in the back. It's weird they changed them from A to C going from the 23s to the 24s

More and more I think this is my next car. I’d love to have a Type S, but the next car will be a less expensive one.
I got at 2023 CPO model for $32.7k. Shifter is phenomenal, great sound system and ride/handling balance. Torque/power is decent but still fun to rev out at lower speeds. Hatch/practically is great as well. I came from a 2017 BRZ, interesting how it captures a similar character in a much more luxurious/practical package.
The speakers are phenomenal. Not to mention the handling it drives real smooth with those continental tires 😂
Joe and Lori and Steve and keep up the good work and I love the video 👍
You are always the best!
Got one last month. I had a storage reason for needing a hatchback vs the Si sedan, which is the reason I went with the Acura. I've already driven it halfway across the country for vacation. Biggest, hugest complaint: 2 measly cupholders. My previous Honda was a 2nd gen Fit, which had TEN cupholders, a little dash shelf, two glove boxes. The integra gets a lousy 2 cupholders. Very disappointing. Maybe they'll do better in the mid-cycle refresh. (in its favor, it does have a sweet shifter and a decent torque curve)

This car would be perfect for me if it had ventilated seats

Not for 38k in 2023. Those days are over
Love my Integra with the 6 speed! Wanted the Si initially, but it was marked up around me. Thanks for the review!
Love the videos, me and my dad love to watch them. Take care!
That is so awesome! Huge thank you to the both of you
Never seen this thing as a true " Integra" successor.
Doesn't look like one, doesn't drive like one, and it is pretty much a Civic with a better sound system and leather.
I wanna know the difference between the 2023 integra a spec and the 2024.
Got this same exact integra but w red interior! Lol, definitely a great looking car and good mpg! Have gotten lots of positive compliments on it! Only complain I have is ride is a bit stiff not as smooth as my old 07 Lexus is250

One big zonk is the white on black dealer decal. I always have those either not put on or removed. Otherwise I think it is a good looking car at that price point.
The only way to buy the integra a spec is with a 6 speed manual. A cvt paired to the 1.5t isn’t a fun combo together. If I was getting one I’ll go all in and get the type s with the tiger eye paint

Hey Raiti what about that budget ride "Honda Crider"?
I was admiring my truck in the background ( Pearl white Acura MDX SUV)❤❤😂😂😂😂🎉🎉
I really like this, but at $38K this is just too expensive for what it is. You can get a very loaded A3 Premium for that price with more power, real leather, and one of the best dual clutch transmissions ever.
Audi A3 starts at $35k before destination. Integra starts at $31k before destination charge.
No chance you will get a fully loaded A3 cheaper than the fully loaded integra
I agree with you on all 3. The A3 premium has the same hp but but 30 more lb/ft of torque. It’s also 8.9” shorter which could be a deal breaker if you want more storage. The A3 interior looks quite a bit more premium too.
A stick is way better then an auto trans
How about those Audi maintenance prices?
I'm glad a bought my 2023 Kia Forte GT2 😎🔥 out the door for 30K compared to these others cars integra , Civic SI , Volkswagen having the same HP and same torque for less money is a no brainier

If i can get 6% off msrp for this vehicle, is it a solid deal? A-Spec Tech
Imagine if he took the car back with zero threads on the tires 😄
Thanks for the solid review like always. I have a 23’ si in SGP reserved and coming in next month. I am about to test drive the 23’ integra a spec this weekend.
I had fun whipping around the si they had on the lot. It was a used 22’ with 18k miles so it was broken in. The corners were the best. Road noise was about as loud as my current 21’ wrangler and comfort wasn’t really there for me.
So I got the 23’ si OTD price at 35k(ish) in writing. Gonna see what they say at Acura. Right now they do have a 60 month 3.9% apr finance special ($2500 down) in AZ.
Any pros/cons from either driver’s perspective appreciated.
So, what did you end up getting???
I traded in a 22 si for a 23 integra and the suspension is the main difference I notice in driving. The Integra is way more comfortable and less fatiguing to drive down the road on long trips, and the sound system absolutely rocks
Raiti, the monochrome graphics on that display are not a cost cutting measure. It's a stylistic choice, because the screen is identical to the screen found in the Civic Si, which has color graphics.

I think it is a good choice, especially for folks who are Acura and Honda people. I wonder how many will opt for the Accord Sport Hybrid vs. the Integra A at this price point (unless you just dig the manual Integra, which can get tiring shifting all the time if you live in a big metro area w/constant traffic congestion). I live in Seattle and we get hills and traffic. I got the manual and it's totally fine. The rev matching system makes it easy
GLI/GTI works out to be a much better deal. More power, faster, better or equal gas millage, similar feature wise especially the GTI and if you want automatic you have a dual clutch option instead of a cvt.
