Hi Roger (and Bec). Beach fishing success! I was at Anglesea yesterday fishing the hour before sunset. My first cast was a double hook up. I caught 3 keepers and 2 went back. By sunset my toes were numb, but I got a feed! Thanks for all the tips you have shared in your videos. Kind regards MP

It is absolutely true that on most beaches *“there is no special spot to fish”.* On the beaches where I fish, you have to play the game of *“find the gutters”* every time you go there, because it changes so often. Especially after a storm or a few days of big waves, you often find that where there were a beautiful gutter it is now completely filled up with sand, but the gutter has now “moved” further down the beach…
@@sueheelan513 Squid, pilchards/sardines, mullet, prawns.. Should work reasonably well. You should get plenty of taylor over there, which you can also fillet and use as bait.
What a great session, even if it was a bit chilly. I'm heading off to the Central Coast of NSW next week. Hope the weather holds for a few days beach fishing. When I am heating oil for frying I test the temperature by dropping in a few drops of water or in you case with the battered fish you could drop a bit of batter in the oil to see how it reacts.
Another excellent video! I was wondering whether there were any plans to do a how-to with smoking fish, and comparing the taste of the various fish species after the smoker? Perhaps a review of the smoking equipment available? Cheers, Chris
Thanks Roger for another very good video. Though it is a sticky subject, can you do a video on humanely killing your catch? I think that everyone would appreciate not having their catch suffer for prolonged periods.
Roger that.hahahaha. i nearly fainted when you were hosing that Bluetti. as a side note, the drop saw uses a lot more power to start up then drops back to the 1600Watts. that's pretty impressive for a small system. good review Rog.
Always pays to check your line when a fish has made it slack. I have nearly lost the rods when the slack line has come off the bail and looped around the reel or on parts of Shimano 10000 and 14000 reels
Hi Roger. I am hooked on your videos and love all the content. You've often asked for suggestions on content and considering this is a major problem area all over the world, I was wondering if you might do a video on the right way to launch and recover a boat from a trailer and also boat ramp etiquette. Many of us have seen video clips where people have turned their cars into submarines off a boat ramp or failed to correctly recover their boat on a trailer and suffered damage as a result. I know there are a lot of variables with different types of ramps, some being just beach ramps and others in a marina with docks available. But it would be invaluable advice for many people with little or no idea or who may benefit from a few extra hints and tips. Launching a boat with two or more people and doing it alone would also be great to see. I'm not sure If this type of video falls within your scope, it's a suggestion nonetheless. Cheers Gary.

Well, I do exactly all that , all that you have outlined. I extremely Envy you, Because of the fact where you fish , the masses of other people do not converge on your location, Not here in California. People's mind- set is this: If there is so much as even a half of a foot in space, They will get in! Eventually they encroach on your spot that you picked, Followed by all the crossed lines, Least I mention the Boaters who get far to close to where you are fishing , Swimmers, Kayakers, The list goes on and on, and it gets to the point where I make bets with other fellow fishermen : " I bet you 30$ I can bean that swimmer at that distance, No problem. Mr. Osborne, i’m following you since Portugal. Thank you for your share . 👍🏼
Hey mate have you ever fished the beaches in Perth WA and would you use the same sort of set ups? Love the videos mate been learning heaps
Would love this info too 👌

Great videos Roger, shame no beach worms in WA. If you didn’t have access to beach worms (😱) what would be your go to starter bait?
I have not fished in WA but hope to in the future

some very good eating right there! (stomach is starting to growl.......) ;)
Hey camera person. I'm interested if you do any still photography as well as your filming. Cheers
I think that I would personally not use a hose to clean it, an airline to blow off the sawdust
It was just to test it's IP65 water rating. We've continued to use it and it still runs perfectly!
Love the vids Roger, you should come fish in Botany Bay

May I suggest you talk about fishing licences for various states in Aust
Do you mean commercial licences? These vids are about recreational fishing.
@@jeremyhearne3499 in NSW you need a fishing licence as a personal fisher
