One of your best, Roger!! Can I say that? There is something about big bream in the surf that gets me going. The buggers turn sideways to the beach and don't want to come in. Those two were beauts. I'm salivating!!
I have fished Hermosa beach for nil. On the same day one of our famous AFL footballers was frying himself on cocaine in the hill behind the beach! Nearly died.
Hello Im so greatful for you marking where the bait actually falls. Ive been having a hard time reading the beach and that is sooooo helpful. Thank you so much for your videos. 😅
Love your content man , i appreciate evry teaching you give , i am a new fisherman and i really learn so much from your videos , thash a lot and keep going 🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣
we dig in estuary mud for lugworm in the uk. you can get king rag which are similar but never caught them so keen to try this and see whats about. love your passion and enthusiasm. it really shows in every video
Hello , thank you very much . Me also feel , your camera person is too much more than perfectly enough talented . His or her pictures are very very poetic and dreaming . Great photographer . The fishes you had gotten look like Tai and Kisu , Japanese fishes . Mar. 6th 2024 Wed. 17:51 from Yokohama City Japan
Any plans of including some drone footage at some point? Would love to see the water and structure you’re so often referring to from a bird’s eye perspective. Love your work, and great job to your camera operator!
Hi mate, thanks for your feedback! We have a drone and did use it in earlier videos, but in all honesty it creates quite a lot of extra work for me, and apart from a pretty scene, it doesn't add instructional value (most people don't own a drone, so they can't look at their beaches from birds eye view). I hope that makes sense? At this point unless there was a specific reason for the drone shot - or - we had the means to create another channel dedicated to more creative/visually appealing stuff, there are no plans to use a drone. It would be nice to have it though! Thanks again
Hi Roger. Alway love your videos. Definitely learnt a lot and catching. Please if you could give me a closer view of your light-tackle trace that you used today as i don't use swivels on my light-trace. Thanks from South Africa.
Hi Rog, I'm from South Africa, I love watching your videos as I always learn something new, you should visit Cape Town one day, huge fish close to shore, lotsa fight in them. The guys around here get angry when they're casting all the way to Antarctica and catch nothing and I cast close to shore and eat like a king, thanks for all the lessons.
Hi Roger. I subscribed to your channel about 2 weeks ago. I’m thoroughly enjoying your content. I’m impressed with many things you teach. Your ability to read the tide is awesome!!! I hope one day I’ll learn to do the same. Keep up the excellent work. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Thanks im learning and just like watching. I'm fishing in Huatulco Mexico.. its tiring sometimes getting up sometimes before 5am, like this morning, right now. About to go fishing.👍
Once again a nice video, On your set up do you have the bottom hook then a swivel then free running sinker then your top hook off another swivel. Thanks Barry
Roger, are you able to provide some guidance on fishing on beaches with no inshore gutter action. Where I live we don’t have the channels or troughs that you have. So any information you can share in these circumstances would be appreciated.
🎣 Hi Roger, - I would really like to see you do some fishing videos with an Alvey reel/s, (& model/s number,) That would be Appreciated indeed,! ... 🐟 🎣
hi Roger, my girlfriend and i are backpackers from the UK and love your videos. We are driving from SE QLD to Perth via the coast in our van and hoping to fish from the shore along the way. What rod(s)/set ups would be great all rounders for us but also not take up too much room in your opinion? Thanks
Love your videos. I am wondering about your whiting species. They seem to be much different from the whiting I caught. Of course I live in the USA. The whiting we have on the east coast are much larger and they tend to be toothy creatures. I always caught them along with ling, pollack and cod. Now til next month is when they are in big numbers. Of course these fish tend to be caught late winter/ early spring. Anyway, I enjoy your videos.
Hmmm! I've tried Bombo, Jones, 7 mile beaches and the Shoalhaven river. Probably over 12 fishing attempts at different times of day and tide and haven't caught a thing.
Hi Roger, thank you for the videos you produce, very helpful. In this particular one, could you tell us the rig you used for the worms. One on top one on bottom and sinker in between. Could you tell us what kind of rig it is and how to set it up . Thank you
seen you mention catching squid and occies during the day, love to know where you catch and how, not exact spot but say rocks or estuary jigs or baits? apart from the strategy rigs and trialling areas biggest take away is collecting right baits of course half the battle.
Hi Rodger. I just wanted to comment that your camera person is excellent. Most of the time I forget that you are not there by yourself.
She does an amazing job
Our dog listens to this all day while we work it helps tremendously with his separation anxiety. He only likes Roger!
Hi Roger, my wife also comments on your wife camera operator, top job
Thank you 🙏🏼
@@Dave-ww5tl thanks Dave - however I am not his wife, I am a family friend. Cheers!
The man. The myth. The legend. 👌 as always
I love how you show your missed worms as well as caught worms. True teaching - thanks.
My pleasure!
Definitely! So many creators don’t show their misses or explain why. Good job Roger.
Hey that's me in the background!
Rodger. I love you videos and I wish I could be like you. Most weekends I go with my dad and normally catch 1 or 2 things. All your tips help. Thanks
That's awesome
We live in Coffs Harbour if you have any good spots you know there.

Wow, thank you. Hello from Australia 😊🎣
I learned to beach fish from my granddad and my dad. I took to it quite easily. We would surf fish in Florida. Great memories

Very nice, I think It's better to inatall a ring on the rod to alert you when there is a fish eating the bait.
seen you mention catching squid and occies during the day, love to know where you catch and how, not exact spot but say rocks or estuary jigs or baits? apart from the strategy rigs and trialling areas biggest take away is collecting right baits of course half the battle.
Id love to see you fish for mullet there
Gooday. How do you catch squid Roger?
I have a squid catching video on my channel
Hello Rogers I am loving your beach 🏝️ worms situation can you catch them in Guyana 🇬🇾 Atlantic
Hi Roger.. maybI know how you rig that kind of fishing.. it's cook
It's cool , love it..
hey Rodger, I was wondering, can you get these worms off the beach in Perth?
Sir, I want to ask Are there sea worms on every beach with different types of beach sand?
Yeah.. don't feel like I got a fish... that's for sure... Best Bream ever and a second hook up. mmmm.. I'll have what he's havin'.
What no salmon? 😜
Oh well! 😊
Having trouble keeping shrimp on my hook here.
