Just build the transmission. Because the magnetic fork went bad.Once you build the trans. You'll have the perfect Evo 10.

Powder coating technovation in Oakland Park (Ft.Lauderdale area) can most definitely powder coat and rebuild the brake calibers as brand new and he can customize your logos or have it Brembro logos of your choice. He does a magnificent job in powder coating down to quality of it. For the interior I would carbon fiber the dash trim all the way around to both doors. It would really look so good. I have carbon fiber interior trim from Carbon Fiber Racing.

The chrome trim pieces, while pep-boy looking, are factory for the higher end MR trims.

I have a soft spot for evos and Hondas, my cousin had an Evo 10 mr and back then it was super quick it still is, the sst is underrated but some are ticking time bombs, once built you’re golden! I love the recaro seats in the Evo 10 one of my favs! This thing is dope asf! I can’t wait for this build to get rolling on the channel! I also hope you also get an rsx soon as well!

I have an EVO VII GTA as my daily with a garage queen, built 2.3L EVO V for the track.
Sounds like another good combination there. Dailies really need to be auto for rush hour but still look cool with a bit of poke when u need to give it a squirt 😜

Naw be irresponsible like me and daily a 500whp gsr. Drive it 85 miles a day.
Check the transmission hose going to oil cooler. Original Evo x even Lancers also have Oil cooler. Maybe got leaking.
Good choice I love my gsr evo x it's the best daily I could ask for since I'm building my srt4 back up but enjoy can't wait to see the build !!

Sound like the transfer case and transmission not fully bolted together, I had a similar problem with GSR, after fully looking under the turn out the bell housing was broken where the transfer case bolts up to it
Congrats on the new X, they definitely do make the perfect daily driver and have been enjoying mine as a daily for 8 years now

The reason the trans is gone is because of the Jacks trans sticker in the window. Kozmic is the only shop in the US that can service these boxes.

BorgWarner makes the GR6 in the r35 and the sst is a getrag dct470. getrag makes the v160 in the mk4 supra and is a good company but the early days of dct's were troubled. The SST has lots of expensive proiblems

No way they're great cars and are perfect comfy fast dailies under the 500 ish whp range.
