I'm in love!! You're a very detail person I can tell by the way you did this full restoration!! I would have done it the same way. If you don't mind me asking how much you paid for the shell? Enjoy the car!! 👊🏽
Really appreciate it! Almost too detail oriented for my own good sometimes. OCD. Haha. As for the shell, I was fortunate i bought it from a good friend. Paid $1500 for it.
I do. He crashed it about 8-9 years ago and parked it in the garage. It sat for years then he had a body shop fix the damage. Only for him to end up buying another one instead. So he just decided to part the car out. I bought it when it was almost completely stripped.
Thank you! I think I'm roughly $25k in right now. I could have done it a good amount cheaper using a bunch of used parts over new OEM. But I prefer to do things right the first time. Saves headaches later
@@jesserooker8690 honestly its better you went new, most of the used stuff is so dated and falling apart you would have had to replace it later down the road anyway. and a lot of parts are discontinued now.
@@vijaysaini3003 Agreed! There were several parts that I needed that had been discontinued. So I hunted down low mileage pieces. I'm numerous cases, I bought, then rebought parts because they weren't up to my standard. I'm very glad I was able to get the new parts I did. A lot of them have since been discontinued
How is it that you have done this extent of work, had 25K views but only 123 subs ? Doesnt make any sense as the quality of your workmanship by far outweighs a lot of you tubers out there
Really appreciate that. Really wasn't trying to build a channel or anything. Had a lot of people tell me I needed to do a full build series on the car while I was doing it. In hind sight, I should have.

Never stop bringing cars back to life unlike its past owner that sold all the parts you had to buy back
Appreciate it. I enjoy it. So I dont think I have it in me to stop. Haha. Have a few previous builds I plan to do slideshows for as well
Trying to find the motivation to keep my evo project, algorithm really blessed me with this one 🙏🏽
Hope you still have that motivation going! I lost my motivation on my new project. But am trying to get it back!
Awesome video, now come to Vegas and help me with mine, oh and bring Casey with you.
Brought her back to life! Superb.
You've done an amazing job. Great looking evo!
Nothing short of amazing! Got me thinking about a Lan Evo now…
This is a big motivation for me. I uploaded my very first video, and it’s of a beat up evo I bought a few weeks back and will be restoring.
Best of luck! I'll follow your build!
Amazing ! Also love that you kept it stock
Absolutely SICK bro!!! One of the best slideshows I have ever seen!!!
Thank you!!
man this is so satisfying. A restoration done right, excellent job my friend.
Truly appreciated
@@jesserooker8690 Are you in socal?
@@omardsm2323 yup!

Thank you very much!
Tremendo video y una máquina impresionante 👍
Love it brother 😍
What an incredible knowledge of cars you have
In a lot of cases. In others, just tons and tons ot research and UA-cam "how to" video watching.
Awesome job!!!!
Very much appreciated
You did a awesome job!. Love it!
Thank you!
Thank you!!
Great work!!
Thank you!
Привіт! Гарна робота, молодець. Бажаю успіхів!
Nice job
Thank you!
wow man you turned that from a 1500 dollar shell to a 20.000 dollar classic car more power to ya
Thank you! Actually just sold it for $30k about a month ago. Sad to see it go. But the offer was too fair to pass up
How long did it took you and how much did you invest on it. Planning on buying a evo shell also

Lol. Nah. Just sold it for $30k with full disclosure. He'll, they watch this video a few times. Haha
You forgot the "I know what I got" at the end of the ad. Lol
I wish to modify also my car like that. I have a lancer 2003 4g18. With a lack of money, i can't buy oem parts.
Goals. Can’t wait till I have a house to myself so I can justify buying an evo lol
Good luck in your journey.

@@jesserooker8690 surely the shell could have been worth less than 1k😂
@@nameless5678 nope not an evo shell, they go for much more than you think
Amazing work! Looking to do something similar and would love to know where/how you sourced your drivetrain.
Thank you! Engine I sourced from a dismantler in Florida. The rest was just locally sourced.
How much did you buy the shell for?
I miss my evo looking this good. I need to redo her bad
Yeah, definitely takes a lot of work to get them back to their glory days
CLEANNNN!! Love it! I just bought an evo too what color did you paint it?
Oem rally red

Hi could you tell me where you got the korean dash from? Thank you.
is that what it is? back in the day i ordered that 2double din trim straight from japan now they sell the whole kit.
I sourced all the parts from a guy on Instagram. Rare.Evo.Parts I believe was his IG name. Not sure if he's still doing it.
How much did the engine cost?
The long block was $6200. Including $500 in shipping from Florida to California.
Do you know the details on why the car was such a mess when you got it?
I do. He crashed it about 8-9 years ago and parked it in the garage. It sat for years then he had a body shop fix the damage. Only for him to end up buying another one instead. So he just decided to part the car out. I bought it when it was almost completely stripped.
@@jesserooker8690 Very cool. I love seeing unloved unique cars end up in the right hands and be rebuilt.
Holy fam!?!? How much did you spend on this project?
All in, was a little less than $25k
how much did the entire project cost you?
amazing work btw!

What happened to it
A good friend of mine bought it from me. Made me an offer I couldn't refuse.
Ok it took us 15 mins to watch how long it took for you to build it?
A little over a year.
