Got the same Evo but RHD. I used to have such kind of Chinese headunit. I liked it but slightly desappointed about the trim. Finally I bought an OEM 2-trim and installed a Pioneer 1-din 9-inch with android auto wireless (and Hires with an incredible audio quality).

Hey bud! I really like the idoing so far man! Wireless Apple car play is amazing to have at least in my eyes! And all the feautures it has I don’t think you will regret the purchase. And that’s coming from a very ocd guy but you know that lol
Those Chinese units never worked well with the Rockford sound system due to a poor power output. They trick the oem Rockford amplifier. Can you steer the subwoofer? and other speakers separately like in the oem radio? PS you can get the OEM MMCS radio unit with BT Audio and USB. Need to look for models 04/05/06 in EU it's E-04, E-05 etc. and up( N-04... in US probably) Don't know if you got that in the US.
So far so good with mines! For sure recommend! and you saw how easy it is to install! lol I still can't believe how times have changed! before I would splice each wire one by one.
