I use Pinterest the same way. When I try to find certain looks I realize that I already have a lot of similar pieces in my closet. Pinterest is a good inspiration to use what you have and create a good look.
I do all of these tips! Because i'm a college student with low budget i don't buy a lot, i love to reinvent my style

This may already have been covered but will highlight my favourites from you and other youtubers ( Alyssa Bltempo/ My Green Closet etc) Steal her style, shopping one’s closet for current styles/ hints about second hand shopping, thoughtfully purchasing new items. It is refreshing to see fashion industry people rewaring clothes and helping us to not get bored by our closets. Your videos represent the practical application of my values in regards tot he environment - but sometimes we need help to overcome the shopping urge as there are many cues in our culture that would propel us in this direction.

Great tips, thank you. I often search for items similar to those I already own to find outfit inspiration for them. Or I search for a particular colour combination to see how it works. I'm going to try your suggestion and add the word minimal to some searches to narrow down the results.
