    I used to modify Mountain bikes with different brake and disc solutions, one of the issues I found was light discs with smaller pad to disc contact areas meant rubbish braking. Looked cool though.

    Clean that poor bike! :-) Dead right on investing in suspension rather than engine, the bang for your buck is so much more.
