Beautiful job. I wish we could hear the original recording of this version to hear how it actually ends. But then again, it may be looped - just as you have done it - and fades out. Thanks for posting.

I am thinking the 1988 drum intro is like a combination of the 1984-1988 second intro and the early to 1988 bridges that separated the main verses. The cosmic synthesizer glissando was just slightly changed for all 3 versions of the song. I think it would be great if the theme's composer/writer Jack Cortner would put all 3 versions of the theme on cd maybe even the rare sponsor theme from the summer of 1988 and the part two shortened theme.
Because the opening's were merely bits of the closing theme edited together and played in a different key. Like the opening could have been played in E-minor key while the closing could have been played in C or D major. Just guessing since the opening theme tended to play somewhat faster than the closing theme.
Danny Hill I put the arrow on the numbers above and it showed a link on my computer screen, so I typed in the link and it showed a video box that once had a video on it but it had been removed.
RIP ATWT-1956-2010.

unless i'm wrong, i believe the actual length of this theme is around 1:20, and looped at around 1:11 when credits run long........

This is from 1981-March 1985, this was also used in June 1987 for one episode
This version is from November 1981 until March 1985
EXCELLENT!
1983' Meg Ryan brought me here
This is the last week for ATWT to be on the air.
Goodbye ATWT.

That was fun 😁
@GayUOPXBoy10
Yes they did, back in 1981.
Yep They did Throwback to 1983' Meg Ryan.
I am guessing every version of the song's extended theme (closing) ended just like the opening sequence version.
the 'bumper' after the station break is more likely the 'true' ending to this theme which, unedited for repetition, is approx. 1:40 in length...

The video doesn't exist, but thank you for attempting to share it. :)

@RockinMan09 I haven't deleted any comments... I don't know why they were removed.
Somehow my original post was also deleted! A glitch I guess!!!
You need to remaster this theme.
