CBC Television used the closing orchestrated theme of As The World Turns for the opening theme without a sponsor billboard of the following Proctor & Gamble products that were sponsored for that day with the same opening color globe from 1967 to 1985 that aired on CBC Television in Canada from 1975 to 1980 before it moved to the Global Television Network in late 1980 and used the Elliot Lawrence Orchestra opening theme for mid break bumpers when the show expanded to 60 minutes on December 1, 1975 and using the closing theme again for the regular orchestrated closing theme signing off on CBC when the CBC Television annoucer was doing TV show promotional for CBC shows and the CBC announcer would say join us every weekday afternoon for “As The World Turns” on the CBC Television Network and “As The World Turns” originates with CBS at the end of the closing orchestred theme
