I live in Switzerland and i had the same Age as you. I remember exactly where i was & with who. Italy, a little Village with ca. 1000 People. It was a cold Evening and we (my Best Friend, Uncle & Aunt and me) were sitting in the Kitchen of my Uncles House. The Fireplace was on, cause it was the Heating System as well. We all were glued to the little TV. My best Friends Dad had to flee before the War started. So it was eeven more intense, special. And the Joy, oh glorious Days!! 💖💖💖

I once thought so, too. However, if you speak English, it shouldn't be.
There's a person that has wronged his SO and tells that person that, but not in an asking way. Indeed it's the guy (my projection as a straight woman, other combinations sure apply) that's continuing the gaslighting and other s... of before.
Seriously. Does anyone really think "Still Loving You" was about a guy being late for dinner?
      Of course not.
Maybe I'm projecting, but to me that song is a guy cheating at least once, including all the gaslighting and lying and still gaslighting.
And still trying to, by telling the victim: "Oh if we'd look, there would be so many things, that killed our love (none of which were my fault at all)" . So it's basically her fault, he's cheated and is she's supposed to take him back, because he says so...
      Sorry, wall of text. 😎

Listening to the wind of change
    An August summer night

    The world is closing in

That we could be so close, like brothers
    The future's in the air
    I can feel it everywhere
Blowing with the wind of change
Take me to the magic of the moment
    On a glory night
Where the children of tomorrow dream away (dream away)
    In the wind of change
    Walking down the street
    Distant memories
Are buried in the past forever
    I follow the Moskva

One of the many songs that was played out when I was stationed in the Army out in Iraq, I clearly remember one little boy saluted me for HELPING out some of the refugees brought them food and milk in which Sadam (when he was alive ) wasn't allowing any of his people the resources to clean water food and milk to meet everyday needs and that little boy appreciated me so much his family invited me and my Army Buddy to eat with them and we did, most of them where wonderful people and appreciated the American soldiers in combat and I got generous luv and open arms from them, some I had help liberated and I was willing to face being court marshalled if necessary but lucky for me I didn't face that....
If be most honored if I can make a few suggestions what was played out there other than this song
Big Country - In A Big Country
    U2- Sunday Bloody Sunday
    U2 - In God's Country
U2- Pride ( In the name of love )
    U2 - New Year's Day
Much luv and respect Mr Video 🖤

These guys toured with all the greats in the 70s and 80s, and still going today!!! Nugent, Def Leppard, Iron Maiden, Journey, Thin Lizzy, Blackfoot, Cheap Trick, ACDC, the Who, Aerosmith, Loverboy, Foreigner, Bon Jovi, Ozzy, Van Halen, Loverboy, Quiet Riot, Joan Jett, Whitesnake, Night Ranger, Metallica, Dokken, Ratt, which is who I saw them with, JUST TO NAME A FEW! I'm so thankful that I grew up in a time that made it seemed like endless good times were ahead. It is those times that are getting us through these crazy times of 2020. Thanks for this, Mr. Video. We do need this. This song was the re-uniting of loved ones and friends from a world separated by ideologies that finally decided to stop threatening the world with extinction. MAD. Mutually Assured Destruction. Why do we always have to threaten all life, to come together? It is cliche'ed now but can't we all just get along? Now we are facing the end of the world as something we have all contributed too and yet we still fight. Songs like this remind me that at some point we can work together.

I was only 20 yrs old when the wall was brought down. I recall watching it on TV. I still get the chills whenever I see video of it. The same holds true for the one man who, in 1989 (a year before the Berlin Wall came down) blocked the procession of tanks with his body in Tiananmen Square (Beijing, China). Chills. Every time.

This song is extremely deep. The scorpions are a German band and this is the song they wrote after the Berlin Wall was torn down. It was the anthem to the world of hope and peace. It was the end of the Cold War. This is a treasure especially for us that lived during this.

The Scorpions are from (West) Germany. The fall of the Eastern Block, the Berlin Wall, and the reunification of Germany was a huge deal to them. And the song was, and remains, an iconic ballad of the period (1989-1991.) It memorializes what was at the time the most consequential geopolitical event since the end of WWII.
