Collier, I saw your story so long ago. I've always wondered how life was for you after the horrible tragedy. I wish I could hug you. I'm so proud of you. ❤
As for the question about why your mother stayed, it was also a different time. Single mothers had it very hard, were shunned, and greatly impacted the child's future. Financial control was also very much a thing.

We have so much in common it's extraordinary! My dad was a serial cheater; he constantly gaslit us @my _incredible_ Mom who looked like an *even more beautiful* Jackie O or Natalie Wood. (I found out I had a 15yo half-brother when I was 20. Jamie was a genius & so kind!). Nearly everyone is dead now, so I feel pretty free to write a memoir, but I might have to tone down the truth to make it believable! 😂Hi MN & Marisol!🐕💖💚
Hey from an Icelander living in Gran Canaria, Spain. I just realized that I was living in Ohio at the time of the trials. I hadn't even heard of the internet back then and didn't follow local news. I went to Mansfield for a wedding and would never had thought something so horrible could have happened there.

I love that you keep your mom’s legacy alive, she was a beautiful lady it truly breaks my heart that her life was cut short because of your dad… when you talk about the things y’all did together I couldn’t imagine how that would’ve effected my son had the guy that abused me would’ve taken my life, you’re a strong young man Collier. I want to wish your mom a Happy Heavenly Birthday my birthday was September the 28th as well. Collier keep doing what you’re doing, sharing your story I believe whole heartedly it helps a lot of people!!!!

That's how I found him, too! People think True Crime is so dark, but it's led me to a lot of much needed light. (I think trauma takes people to TC to escape "reality" then we find a community of likeminded people just trying to make sense out of tragedy? Maybe trying to understand & to see justice happen?) 💔❤🩹Mover Nation!🥰

Yes, that’s sweet baby. Her treat. You know she’s why we watch your channel. My little white Chihuahua was lost to me on March 8. He was at least 18 years old and was my sweet baby. We lost our adorable carrier mix a year ago this coming October. These little guys saw me through some pretty rough, and I will miss him forever. Your little Neal is absolutely adorable.

I wish you could connect with Colby Ryan. He has been through some of the worst circumstances -his mom is Lori Daybell and was convicted of the murders of his younger siblings who were recovered buried in her new husband’s backyard (Chad Daybell). There is so much more. He is a young husband and father and has the most hopeful, honest and humbling attitude. He also started a YT page. Anyway, I admire you and remember your case from years ago. I’m so grateful to see you doing well and helping other survivors.
You know what sucks is that when you're dating?Someone in their life is perfect.They can't handle what you have been through even if you are okay with your past.... And they don't have no idea how unfair that is because this was brought upon us.We didn't ask for it,!!!!

It's hard to come to terms with a parent that is mentally ill. When we rely on our parents to provide protection and a moral, ethical and education in general and they fail...it's hard to swallow and process.

Who else testified at the trial? Did Sherry have to? Your gramma who defended her son? Was there a lot of blowback and shunning toward Sherry?
I wonder if she knew, especially since (I assume) she was living in that house. Can't wait to see the doc, as I have not yet.
[In my family's case, & b/c my beautiful, gracious Mom encouraged it, I grew to love the other woman/new wife & *especially* my half-brother. He was so kind & intelligent. Had more in common w/him than w/my 100% brother.]
@hollyharris1874 Hi Holly, from somewhere I had the impression that the new house wasn't set up yet. Something I read long ago sounded like Dr Dad was going back and forth doing some things. Hard to believe Sherry was there while he jackhammered the basement floor. But who knows?

I think I remember your dad's trial because it isn't common a Dr. Kills his wife and torments her and their only child has to testify . Ofcourse being in Ohio it was a big case .

Watching your video it seems to be moving towards your left or for better explanation jumping around or half cross eyed, sorry not sure how to explain it. There have been instances where viewers notice something not quite right with the person for instance a person noticed a mole on a person on tv and asked about it telling her she might want to go get a dermatologist check it out and sure as the sun rise the lady had skin cancer that she never noticed or paid attention to until a viewer made her aware of it. If you do not want to have viewers ask you logical concerning questions tell them that in your rules! I truly hope I am wrong and there is nothing whatsoever wrong with your eye.

I heard this from the VP's family, so not being political here, but Doug said his children call her Mamala, a Jewish endearing word. I love that b/c I had been calling myself a Kamala Mamala, not knowing if it was OK to say. Is it ok? ❤🩹💙
@@hollyharris1874 it is indeed. Mámala is an endearing word for mom in Yiddish which is a dying language. You’d be surprised how many Yiddish words are in our everyday vernacular. Never insulting if used from a place of love and respect. Look up the Yiddish/English dictionary, it’s a hoot!
Grandma is Bubala or Bubbala. When translating from Hebrew to English, there is no such thing as a wrong spelling. That is why you see Hanukkah spelled so many different ways.
