I live in Erie . I randomly picked this video to watch and as the details were revealed... Location... Time frame... I realized this was the brave boy whose father murdered his wife and then buried her in a basement of a new house a few miles from me. Brave, brave boy to cement justice for his mom. Glad he ditched his sire's last name.
Grew up in Mansfield and remember this amazing guy!!! The story was huge in our hometown and I am so sorry he went thru all he did back then. Amazing man today and lots of love for him from our hometown
Yes I grew up in Shelby and it was a big deal here too.And I remember Collier testifying and I thought what a strong young boy he was but that strong young boy has turned into a strong young man
I listen to Collier on moving past murder, he has done amazing to get to where he is today, I feel so sad that his family turned their backs on him, he needed them more than ever at age 11. Stay strong Collier 🥰
Yes, very bizarre. His aunt Carol (mother’s sister) went through all the trouble to take the mother’s body back to Baltimore with her and have her buried there, but she rejected her own sister’s innocent and brave children. Incomprehensible to me. He and his mother are way better people than Noreen’s family. She poisoned cousins’ ears saying that Collier is like his father. So the extended family doesn’t want to meet him either. Ungrateful and disloyal idiots. They don’t deserve Collier, who is worth 1000 times more than all of them together. The Schmids have no honor.
Thank you for speaking up about ancillary victims. My childhood best friend moved away and 2 years later she was brutally murdered. The lowest lifeform was caught. He did confess to his crimes and the murder. He got to live almost 10 years after he murderered my best friend; then he was put to death by lethal injection. Thank you Texas for making sure justice was served for my friend, her family and all of us friends. RIP Jenny 🙏
It’s great to see how well Collier has done for himself. I was a young Mom when the story of his Mother’s murder was on Forensic Files and the news and it was heartbreaking. Great to see how well he is doing.
I watched Murder in Mansfield a couple of years ago. While watching it I was amazed with how Collier's strength and courage in getting justice for his mom.
What an interesting and horrifying story at the same time. Unimaginable what he went thru at such a young age. Kudos to him for speaking for his mother and seeing his father pay for his crime.
Collier is the absolute best. His channel and Patreon is AMAZING. He is so articulate and wise and so comforting to listen to him. What a tough dude. His channel is awesome guys. Luckily for us he’s on UA-cam now days. Collier we’re all with you! I’ll speak for everyone in that! If anyone is against you- such as your extended family, they’re just wrong. Whatever their opinion and their pathetic reasoning is, it’s false. You’re. Amazing!!! Your Mom is soooo proud of you. She sees everything you’ve done and everything you do. Love ya Collier!!!!! Always!!!!
It's unlikely he'll confess since malignant narcissists don't accept responsibility for their actions, blame others instead, and make out they're the victim. I'm sorry for ALL you've been through, especially for the loss of your mom. May your heart heal. 💕
You were not a heavy kid! You are adorable and growing! It's very different hearing you tell different stories. I've heard the stories about the night of the murder so many times I feel like I can almost imagine it. Although it's interesting to hear these new Recollections of your father it's also very heartbreaking knowing that he was abusive most of the time. If Collier Landry can move past murder we can all work on our own trauma!
Just rented Collier Landry’s documentary, about his father murdering his mother. Only 1.99 pm UA-cam, am completely knocked out by it. It’s a fantastic, and enlightening, documentary. What a spectacular kid he was, testifying on the stand; in the murder trial, at TWELVE YEARS OLD. Mind blowing, the whole thing.
To be betrayed like he was by both sides of his family must have been unbelievable. I’ve been through something in my family that was devastating to me as far as betrayal that I’m still to this day has affected me.
I watched the FF episode about this case, and Collier was only a boy, the way he testified would’ve made his mom so proud of him. Wishing him all the best in the world!
Or at the very Least, stayed in his life and emotionally supported him! I'm thankful he was old enough to remember and feel his Mothers Love. That must have helped him in some of those really tough times. Though also painful, I'm sure!
Exceptional young man💖such a heart breaking story 💔 so proud of him and his bravery, I do not think he looks like his father at all, I have much respect and admiration for his courage and love and devotion of his mother, wishing him only the very best in life may he find love and happiness and have a wonderful loving wife and family🥰
I bet she's proud of you too even this many years later you kept her name and spirit alive even though she died you didn't actually let her die you let her fly
I just watched Murder in Mansfield last night after finding Collier on tiktok. Highly recommend! It was insane to see his dad lie during their prison visit :( couldn’t just admit the truth.
His mother’s family wanted nothing to do with him? He’s HER son. Her pride & joy! And he got is mother justice! How sad that disowned him. Did they ever come around?
So I grew up with the story. And Collier was definitely the adult in the situation. To find out if they ever came around subscribe to his UA-cam channel call your landry. His podcast is called moving past murder and you don't want to miss it. I'm obsessed with your crime and this story has followed me most of my life. Collier is doing amazing things for the world and he deserves a recognition!
Collier also saved his own life, when he realised his dad wanted to take him away and kill him. The families just left him to cope with everything, and he was only 11. They didn't even look after him for his mother.
Happy to here you confronted your father and is doing his time thanks to you as an adolescent , glade your doing well , sure it weighs on you in some sort of ways ..but for the most part your doing well hanging on in there ..sadden that you grew up with out your loving momma ..may she rest in Paradise
I remember this case very well because where it happened in Mansfield is a neighboring town from where I live and it was a big deal here and I admire Collier so much because he was so young and yet he was batting determined to put his father in prison and that can’t have been easy but I’m so glad he is doing well for himself because he sure deserves that
Collier, I heard you say that Relatives said you looked like your father. I disagree! You look very much like your mother! I'm so sorry for everything you went through as a child. Before and after your Mother Died. I hope you have great friends and family or those who you've selected as family. And I wish you Happiness and Peace!
What I find interesting regarding this story is that in every article except one that I have read, and whenever Collier tells his story, is that no one mentions that his little sister, Elizabeth, who was only three, told investigators that she saw her daddy hit her mommy in the head. "Daddy put Mommy on the floor and wrapped her up like a snowman," is what she told Lt. Messmore. It’s apparent that the murder was committed in front of his daughter! I understand she was too young to testify at trial, but why is this never mentioned?
It's not a good club to be in. Mine is opposite. Mom killed dad. Good to see someone else doing well after living through that. It really does change your entire structure.
I watched this case in forensic files program years ago and I am still impressed and in love for this beautiful and brave child which was able to speak out for his mother and protecting her memories. Now, I am quite impressed and touched for this adult man teaching and the world how to move on after a very traumatic experience. Send you love guy!
It was a very different time. There weren't high profile murders all over the place. And they didn't have social media and the technology they had today. Things moved much slower.
Isn't that crazy! I lived in Mansfield at the time and Mansfield has a dark history and still today I swear Ohio is the true crime capital of the world haha most true crime stories I see happen in ohio. Anyhow Collier Landry has an amazing UA-cam Channel. Podcast is called moving past murder you should check it out and definitely subscribe to his channel he deserves the recognition. Merry christmas!
I subscribe to the channel just for this interview! This is the first time that I've gotten emotional about the story in a long time. I love Collier on CBD edibles! So vulnerable so Raw. Much love and blessings to all! Merry Christmas
He won't because his narcissistic personality won't ever allow him to admit he did it and to get parole ypu have to admit your guilt and show remorse. I just watched Collier talk to the judge in his father's case and he was sentenced to 21 years which has long been and gone and he will not get out until he admits he murdered his wife and shows remorse so it looks like he's going to be in prison until he dies amd deservedly so.
The movie "The Fugitive" has NOTHING to do with the Sam Sheppard case. It is instead, based on a TV series from the 1960s, starring David Janssen, which ALSO has NOTHING to do with the Sheppard case.
Omg I remember this story from forensic files and this guy as a child....craaazy story...and that guy has NEVER really watched forensic files ?????!!! 14 or 15 seasons ( not counting FF2)of pure true crime awesomeness.....but yeah that episode def one of the best...
Amen he really deserves the recognition. Go check out his UA-cam channel Collier Landry. Podcast called moving past murder. He will be hooked there's plenty of content and he puts out a new vid every friday!
I remember watching the I remember watching the show where he testified against his father. It’s eerie looking at him and his still sounds the same and if you look really closely, he looks the same. I’m sorry he had to go through this. I remember how mature he seemed while he testified.
I realize there must be some time constraints on how long the podcast runs, you shouldn't have a "hard" cutoff. You should allow for a natural break in conversation, not a two minute warning. I feel these topics are too important and should not be limited in explanation by a clock. Just my humble opinion. Loving the show otherwise.
It's not just being strong. I would say it is the opposite of being strong. The anger towards injustice is undescribable in some cases, and that can be driven to further tradgedy or as a drive forward, but it is not strength just because it is powerful. I believe any "strong " person would rather be in a situation and safe space that never required them to fend for themselves to the degree one has to in some circomstances. Don't admire pain, please. When you see someone being strong, please just be empathetic instead or give a hug, not praise. Praise locks in the hypervigilance, care is what really is needed. Cause as you hear him say, he had no one who cared for him. There was a lack of care. And no one should live like that. So, try to redeem people like that with some care, if you know they are kind enough to you to care for you, too.
Ugh it just clicked when he said his dad was sore..as a kid he had to rub that bengay on his dad who was complaining about his back being in pain and it was because he had just jack hammered the floor were he had buried his mother. narcissistic psychopaths
STICKS….. I found you, you’ve been lost for sooo long. I miss watching all you guys, well especially you. I haven’t watched A&E except for First 48. I don’t know 🤷♀️ why you don’t have your show back?? Glad your doing well. Shame on A&E , grow some balls people. Your loseing out!
I think of the games your dad played with your mind even into adulthood. I wonder what your mom had to put up with how trapped she felt. I will be praying for you Collier its exhausting following your story on multiple sites giving you feedback in snippets on my own life dealing with a psychopathic mother and her sick twisted extended family. I'm relieved some decent fairminded people took you in stood by you through all the twists and turns of the trauma then through puberty an important life stage into manhood. You were almost stuck in the trauma the pit your dad dug for himself, he tried to drag you into it.❤
Hi Collier i don't know if you have ever been to church before and are a Christian, but i will pray for you.I noticed you swear a lot so maybe you haven't asked Jesus into your heart yet and did the sinners prayer.i will pray for you to trust in Jesus. We love you and are so proud of you for testifying against your father.Jesus can heal you heart from all the pain you have endured as a child from loosing your mother at a young age.
Ahh! I've been watchin him on tiktok! I'm so invested in his stroy & he only makes like a 1 min vid & sometimes waits a few days in between parts. We're on part 10 right now😄 but now I get to hear the whole storyyyyyy
@@missyreed1804 I just watched a lil bit of his "murder in Mansfield" documentary. Dude, the footage of him throughout the doc...it HAD to be at least 10 yrs ago. This man now at 43 is 10000× SEXIER than he was in his 30s. It's wild. He's got his longer hair, blonde, great body, all tanned w those blue eyes! Omg he's daddy AF!!! it's crazy

He became homosexual. It's sad. He can have a family and change the trajectory of his family in the future. Hope he does. His honesty and perceptiveness is remarkable. We need more of these role models in the world. He deserves the love and devotion of his own family that he can build. We love our men for their imperfections too!
Too much waffling. I don't have time for it and that's why I hate shows with panels, and I hate livestreams too. I just want the straight story, and not 5 hours of waiting to get to it.
If you want to hear more about his story straight from him and no interruptions go to his UA-cam channel. Collier landry. Podcast called moving past murder. Believe me you don't want to miss this! But I would also like to thank the creators of this video. I quite enjoyed it I got to learn a couple of things I didn't know before.

Lots of people aren't murdered by the favorite doctor in town. Lots of people don't go to trial at 12 against their fathers! You just seem upset cause he's talking about his trauma and doing what he needs to heal and move past it. Collier, you are an AMAZING person. Keep it up

Me too love this guy 💗
@@missyreed1804 I just watched a lil bit of his "murder in Mansfield" documentary. Dude, the footage of him throughout the doc...it HAD to be at least 10 yrs ago. This man now at 43 is 10000× SEXIER than he was in his 30s. It's wild. He's got his longer hair, blonde, great body, all tanned w those blue eyes! Omg he's daddy AF!!! it's crazy
Me too
saw a picture of his mom she was beautiful and kind looking.
"It's Sherrrrriiiii!!!!!!!" (Courtroom bursts into laughter).
今天才知道这个案子,他好勇敢,好棒!希望他以后的人生一切都好。
Remember God loves you♥️!
John 3:16
For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life.
Please repent, change your life around and live for Him🙏
He is coming back soon🥳😊...........
He is great!
Hearing stixxx say blunts took me out … then he hit us with “the weed”
What was the name of the film you guys said?
Was he looking for Eric Hunley and Mark Groubert /
Viva Frei & Robert Barnes ? 😁👍
Alcohol is poisonous 🤣🌳
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
What did his grandmother know?
I was wondering how far into this podcast they would say "female"
Is that pink whiskey? Is that what Amber SCAMBER was drinking in court?
Keep that bottle at your hand, my man...
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Six years with his girlfriend? Why didn't he marry her?
cannot hear you
I thought his dad was a psychiatrist.
Have you ever thought abiyt becoming an actor you have a nice looking face and beautiful blue eyes.
He became homosexual. It's sad. He can have a family and change the trajectory of his family in the future. Hope he does. His honesty and perceptiveness is remarkable. We need more of these role models in the world. He deserves the love and devotion of his own family that he can build. We love our men for their imperfections too!
He became a homosexual? Really?
He says he likes women though. Do you know him?
No he didn't.
Too much waffling. I don't have time for it and that's why I hate shows with panels, and I hate livestreams too. I just want the straight story, and not 5 hours of waiting to get to it.
5 hours means you don’t know how to count.. Im not the sharpest but I can count the fingers on my hand..
@@stephanienelson1475 There are creators on here who have lives streams that for for 8 or 12 hours......or even 24.......did you not know that?
Not a huge fan of roundtable discussions.

The two commenters are annoying. They should just claim it.
Ur comment is annoying
Seriously! But I'm very thankful for this interview because I got a lot of new information. But if you want to know more about Collier Landry go to his UA-cam channel his podcast moving past murder. You don't want to miss this!
A lot of people's moms were murdered. Most of them don't use it as a catapult to fame
🐳
Aweeeeeeee
Lots of people aren't murdered by the favorite doctor in town. Lots of people don't go to trial at 12 against their fathers! You just seem upset cause he's talking about his trauma and doing what he needs to heal and move past it. Collier, you are an AMAZING person. Keep it up
Dismissiveness is the definition of stupidity
Yes leslie. He was my doctor! And I'm the same age as collier. It's not a catapult for fame he's legit helping. He has other things that he does and he's a very successful. Collier Landry deserves recognition go to his page and subscribe!

This murder happened in the city that is 10 minutes from where I live and I will listen to Collier every day of the week tell the story because he is a courageous young man because would you have at 11 years old put your father in prison so if you don’t wanna listen to him scroll past and watch Something else
