Pop singers lip-synch entire shows because they can't dance in place while singing. Bruce sprints around the stage in his 60s while blasting out songs. UP THE IRONS! 🤘😝
Bruce is one of the best Frontmen ever & Fear if tge Dark is one of the greatest crowd participation songs that really makes tge live experience something Bruce & Maiden excel at. Looking forward to seeing them in Sept '24! Up tge Irons!
Iron Maiden, one of the few things that boomers, gen-X, millennials, and gen Z all enjoy together. I first heard of them in 2003 when I had a summer job as a kitchen aide in a school when I was 15. One of the janitors was telling one of the teachers about getting tickets for a Iron Maiden concert so I went home, powered up Limewire and started downloading.
I'm chilean and have been in 2 concerts, 2009 (aguante los que nos sacamos la cresta en la acequia) and 2019. Iron Maiden never dissapoints and in Chile we really love them: every concert sold out, entire generations (grandparents, little kids, i have seen even 2-3 y/o kids with their parents 😂) singing and jumping and headbanging. Next year i will be going with my daughter (13 y/o) and my little bro (15 y/o) for their first and my third concert. UP THE IRONS!
Soy de Estados Unidos, pero he visto que la audiencia de Centro y Sudamérica es increíble. Perdón por la traducción, no hablo... usé google. Vibras si!
Bruce was almost 53 back then in 2011 😂 I'm not even 47 yet and I'm sweating blood just from watching that guy running around and still being able to sing
I believe that back in the days of "The Napster Wars" where Metallica looked at the illegal sharing data and decided to sue their fans, Maiden also looked at the data, saw a huge amount of piracy in South America and decided that they could sell A LOT of concert tickets and tour shirts there
Iron Maiden has been my favorite band since I was 12 (back in '84). I remember when this album was released, a lot of fans in my part of the U.S. (the South) didn't really like it that much for whatever reason. This particular song immediately became one of my favorites though, so I'm always happy to see how much love this song gets now!! Great reaction as always!! Its always great to hear your thoughts, and you're so enjoyable to watch.
i have watched a lot of reactions to Iron Maiden, the one thing i have not seen stated, is how the energy transfer is prolly the key. Iron Maiden loves their fans, and the fans love them. When you see and hear the whole audience singing to them, THAT is what charges the band to give 1000% back.
Chileans have an unconditional love story with Iron Maiden, and they are also very crazy. Greetings from Chile :D By the way, next year I'll see them live in Santiago again!
Modern "Band" Concerts = Open a new can of the same show. Old School Lgends = You get a REAL performance. I was lucky enough to experience a Pink Floyd Show when i was a young boy. My parents took me with them that night. Even i was just 5 or 6 yrs old back then. It set the stage for me HOW and WHY i enjoy music till today.
Have seen Maiden many times live and the crowd interaction & energy is just always so good... you can't help but lose yourself in the show... already have my tickets for 2024!
Saw them 8-10 times they were awesome. Met and partied with em three times between 1986 and 1991 . After the first time I met em they let me know when they were owing to area and leave me 4 front row tix and pay for hotel room. Originally met em hotel har before a show and went to pay bar tab , it had been paid. When I was checking out the next day my room had also been paid for.
I'm 72, been a rocker all my life, this show is one of my favs. Any band who's been around 40+years and still sells out concerts all over the world has earned the respect from any music lover. These guys never take their foot of the gas pedal. They're all excellent musicians and Bruce - there's only one Bruce. Iron Maiden is pure 100% FUN
well as a 52 year old brit i have seen them live 33 times to date after this years tour and there still the best live band on the planet. it will be a sad day when the Irons retire. they will leave a huge hole in my life
*If you think they're this good just watching a video of them, you should go see them LIVE if you ever have the chance. I finally got to see them here at the BOK center here in Tulsa Oklahoma, September 15th 2022. They were PHENOMENAL. My 23 year old daughter came with me and she was blown away too. They were, without a doubt, the greatest band I've ever seen*
You don’t go and “watch” a maiden concert, you go to take part in a maiden concert, Bruce literally makes you feel like an integral part of the show, I can’t think of another frontman that does that so well.
I read that in prep for a tour that he runs while singing all the songs planned for the tour. Also, let's not forget the fans at this show. South American fans are insane in the best way. I'd love to go to a show there sometime.
FYI, Iron Maiden is the GREATEST(live;)BAND in the world now and forever🤘 Welcome to the Maiden family. You won't be disappointed, as they are even more impressive 👏 Up the mighty Irons🤘🤘🤘🤘

Saw them some years ago in Dortmund. Bruce is transmitting so much energy to the audience... You can not imagine. I just hope that I'll be half as fit when I get to his age (15 years later)
About Bruce being a storyteller. Yes, you're right. Bruce has said that every song is like a mini-movie, and when he's singing a song, he's seeing the movie play out in his head, and he's acting out the movie for the audience.
Another great reaction. I was lucky enough to see them a few times and they keep getting better. Bruce Dickinson is a master storyteller. Keep up the great work.
and a cancer survivor too. My son has informed me he's already bought tickets for us to see Maiden (3rd time together) in Denver next October = can't wait.
Always great to see reactions to Maiden, and I liked your analysis too. Depending on what you're more interested in seeing, but for more of Bruce's theatrical approach you could check Dance of Death from this same concert, or for a song where he is entirely focused on the vocal performance, then The Talisman from this concert is a very good choice.
Great reaction. Love the crazy South American metal fans. They are so passionate and amazing. Bruce's exaggerated movements are so that even folks in the back of the venue can see him.
I've noticed that too, not just metal though. The fans are insane for Aurora too. If I was in a world renowned band I'd be like "man, do we have to play Jersey again? Can't we just go to Brazil, Chile, Argentina, etc???". 😁
Bruce is tireless. Flies the plane between shows and performs like this, usually for more than 2 hours. Seen them 26 times & counting since '84. Twice W/ Halford & Queensryche. My fav shows of all time. Hallowed Be Thy Name will always be my fav.
Saw them at the O2 few months ago and they were amazing as always . They played this and it was epic Bruce's voice was phenomenal, it was a day of nightmare traveling missed coach etc etc but made the gig and worth it 🤘
Love your reactions to iron maiden, they are awesome live, first time I saw them was live after death in the 80's,last time was over 35 years later still amazing.can you do a reaction to rhyme of the ancient mariner or dance of death, that's story telling
I remember listening to this one the radio as a kid, in like 2009 or something. It was the first song I heard that wasn't standard lenght and I thought it was so epic 🤭
This is just what Iron Maiden shows are like. Certain Metal bands just have a vibe that creates audiences like this. And there's really no set rule like it's traditional/power metal bands or anything like that. I've seen heavier bands like Killswitch Engage just say "This is..." and with no music playing at all, the band including the singer just watching, the entire crowd fill in the entire rest of the chorus without missing a beat. Those are always my favorite kind of shows to attend. The audience shouldn't be spectators but collectively another member of the band itself.
Singer, songwriter, Airplane pilot, world class fencer and all around badass!

I was at the show that kicked off that tour. Still the best concert I have been to.

I'm 28 years old, my dad got me into Iron Maiden as a kid. Already bought tickets for their 2024 tour. Will be my 5th time seeing them live!
That’s the power of Iron Maiden. Worldwide. For decades.
So true. Maiden are just incredible.
Absurd talent & wielded in this amazing, cohesive way.
Great reaction. If you want more storyteller Bruce check "Dance of death" live from en vivo. The most theatrical performance by Bruce
Thank you for watching and for the suggestion! I'll be sure to check it out!
But do the original tour instead, Death On The Road...it's the best live version of that song
No. The most theatrical is from en vivo. I'm not talking about costumes.
He was not being theatrical on En Vivo, he was trying to be funny and ended up goofy, which was unnecessary to the song
