LEGENDARY band - amazing rabbit hole of music. They're on tour RIGHT NOW (Chicago Thursday!!!), and don't miss their 50TH ANNIVERSARY tour next year!!!
Being in a crowd of a few tens of thousands of people and singing the words "Fear of the Dark" in unison, with that crowd, is a religious experience. It's beyond words. As for a spooky themed song from Maiden, maybe Number Of The Beast, or The Sign Of The Cross. Hope you feel better!
I love to listen to your sweet and calm voice Nikki. Great content indeed. The best crowd supporting so unearthly the best heavy metal band ever existed ! hats off ! 🔥Up the Irons !!🤟 Hugs from Barcelona!
Iron Maiden is on a VERY short list of "godfathers of metal" for a reason. They have toured the world since the early 80's and sold out literally everywhere ever since. It is quite possibly the missing part of your soul you never knew was missing, but once you discover it, you wonder how you ever lived without it. UP THE IRONS! 🤘
Something telling about this band: at the time of this concert, the band had been going for about 36 years. Note how many *young* kids are in the crowd. When I saw them in 2022, that was still the case...it was my daughter's first concert.
And I'll say it again, health comes first, UA-cam can always wait, we're here when you are ready. Yeah, this song is awesome with crowd participation, especially the South American crowds, they really get into it. Another of their very popular songs, you probably have heard this, or parts of it , in passing. Iron Maiden's "The Number of the Beast" would fit for the season. Another spooky season suggestion, the brand new Dream Theater song is called "Night Terror"
It is wonderful that some of the flagship bands from the earlier areas are still so vital and drawing new fans to this day. It's a testament to the quality of the material, the Integrity of the musicians, and just the fact that good music is good music and that it can transcend genres and Trends and even decades. Cheers, I love what you're doing here
I can’t think of a band that has been around that long AND maintains the same energy level and vocal abilities. Iron Maiden is simply fantastic ❤ A good song that sticks to the Rocktober theme is “Number of the Beast” 😈
Steve Harris (bass) has written a wide array of lyrics for Iron Maiden... nightmares, phobias, historical events, movies, fantasy fiction... One of his best lyrics was Maiden's "Afraid to shoot strangers"... about soldier's PTSD from the 1991 Gulf War. Steve Harris writes the music on his bass, playing the riff and whistling the melody he has for the music... The other members of Iron Maiden have to join in to bring his ideas into a song... Former Maiden singer Blaze Bayley recalled Harris writing the epic track 'Sign of the Cross' and there was confusion because no one could figure out how to play it the way he was writing it... but it came out really well on the album.
The second paragraph is very interesting, i mean, i know Steve Harris is the founder, mastermind and main songwriter or composer, but the process of composition you mentioned is really interesting, but i want to ask, where did you get this information particularly?
@@sumonjamal1653 i saw the documentary, it’s long, and there are more than one part. And the main issue is that British accent is very hard to understand (especially some dialects) and there are no English captions or English subtitles lol!! And i am not a native English speaker in general….
@@sumonjamal1653 you know what, as I mentioned, i saw some parts the documentary specifically months ago or few years ago, and there were no captions or subtitles then! But i checked it out right now to make sure about it, and there are subtitles added!!! Loool 😂! It’s very interesting that i know that now!
I'm Proxy double your age and didn't know the song but believin ' in first... Damned, I heard this before... Good music happens. Not more nowadays, but the past time kept some secrets for us.
I'm significantly older, but even so I thought Iron Maiden were dinosaurs, when I was in my teens and listening to Guns 'n' Roses and Skid Row and later Metallica... I'm now a sad old bugger and have given them a chance and Iron Maiden are bloody great, even though I didn't want to like them. The Chilean mad crowd helped a huge amount.
All I can say is they are on a world tour, find your state locate the venue get tickets and go go go..!!!! You will not have to many more opportunities to see these iconic bands anymore in your life time, dont regret it later... I'll be seeing them in New York on 11/2... Up the Irons \m/
Ghost just got a grammy nomination for covering a Maiden song so I think the shirt fits the reaction. Sooooo many bangers but I'd definitely say Dance of Death. Up the Irons!!
First of all sweetheart your health must come first and foremost and I hope that you’re feeling better. Iron Maiden for me is the pioneer of British heavy metal and are true gods in my eyes. There’s no point of me giving you recommendations for future videos as they have already been posted in the comments section. What I will say is if you get the chance you should get along to an Iron Maiden concert to experience what the rest of us will experience. They are due to be doing a world tour in 25/26 to celebrate the 50 years anniversary so if they are close to where you live then it would be worth it and if you’re health is up to it. Anyway sending you lots of love from Bonnie Scotland 🏴
If you like crowd interaction, you should check out Blind Guardian. In particular the live version on the Wacken festival of two songs: The Bards song and Valhalla.
Hi! Whenever I recommend Iron Maiden, I always go for the band's less commercial songs. That is, the ones that aren't singles, the gems from their albums. That's why I'm going to recommend u what I think you should listen to from each album, at least until their 2006 album. 1980: Prowler/Phantom Of The Opera/Strange World 1981: Murders In The Rue Morgue/Killers/Prodigal Son 1982: 22 Acacia Avenue/Children Of The Damned/Total Eclipse 1983: Where Eagles Dare/Revelations/To Tame A Land 1984: Aces High/The Duellist/Rime Of The Ancient Mariner 1986: Caught Somewhere In Time/Wasted Years/The Loneliness Of The Long Distance Runner 1988: Moonchild/Infinite Dreams/Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son 1990: Public Enema Number One/Mother Russia 1992: Be Quick Or Be Dead/Judas Be My Guide/Afraid To Shoot Stranger 1996: Sign Of The Cross/Lords Of The Flies/2 A.M 1998: Futureal/The Clansman/When Two Worlds Collide 2000: The Wickerman/The Nomad/The Thin Line Between Love And Hate 2003: Rainmaker/The Journeyman/Dance Of Death/No More Lies 2006: Brighter Than A Thousand Suns/The Longest Day/For The Greater Good Of God/Lord Of Light. Those would be my suggestions. Don't feel pressured or overwhelmed, that's not my intention. I just want you to know the band beyond their hits. Greetings!
This is a great version but Rock in Rio is even better with the crowd. Maiden puts on the best live shows and they are my favorite band of all times. I'm sorry to hear about your condition and glad you are doing better. You are a "Trooper", pun intended. ❤
That's so awful that you weren't feeling well. I'm glad you're still in good spirits to do some great creepy music though. :) "Fear of the Dark" is an incredible song. If I was going to mention another Iron Maiden, I'd say either "Dance of Death." I would suggest Number of the Beast, but I remember that you mentioned you already heard that one. I've always felt that "All That I'm Living For" by Evanescence has some creepy lyrics. I personally recommend the acoustic version. It's really beautifully dark. Also, you should check out The Misfits and their song "Dig Up Her Bones." I still hope you check Disturbed and their song "The Animal."
Gotta react to "Halloween" by Helloween (preferably the live, Pumpkins United tour version.) Perfect for the month, and you get not one, but two amazing lead vocalists.
I've seen that one but I would totally check it out again cause it's been awhile. I actually just recorded Living Dead Girl for another week in Rocktober!
In keeping with you Halloween theme, I highly recommend "Dance of Death" if you want to stick with Iron Maiden. As wich live version to watch, I leave that to your other viewers to decide.
If you like seeing the crowd singing along/take over, watch a German band called BLIND GUARDIAN at Wacken 2016 with *_"The Bard's Song/Valhalla"_* : ua-cam.com/video/i-IcX_bccFc/v-deo.html
R.I.P. Paul Di'anno 😔...Fear of the Dark is one of Maiden's simplest songs, very popular, but not the best. Should you please react to The talisman, or The claivoyant... maybe Maiden is always the best 👍🤘
Hello! So sorry, I can promise you it wasn't intentional. I try to get back to everyone but it takes me a bit. I post a lot of videos and new comments kind of push older ones to the back of my notifications. I do my best to get through them all. 💛
🤔 It's not a reactor thing though lol. At least not to my knowledge. It's just something that music (or life situations in general) does to you. Not every band or song does it though. That's the difference. At least for me. 🤷🏻♀️
2 Iron Maiden suggestions... Rime of the Ancient Mariner (Flight 666) and The Clansman (Rock in Rio). Hope you're feeling better, and hope you stay well for as long as possible.
