How do you keep a check engine light from coming on. I have a 2015 longhorn with push button start. When I disconnect the grid heater I get a check engine light light for grid heater voltage
buy a tuner. I like the Mini Maxx personally. gets rid of all those annoying codes and tells your truck nothing is wrong with it.
Normally when I do it, I'll clean all that soot on the air horn with some carb cleaner.

Anything from Maintenance related to performance items, Trans oil change on the 2020+, up pipes, manifolds, injectors, ccv upgrade, fuel filter upgrade kits, full piping kit installs, turbos. All of it. 2020+ would be preferred. When are you guys going to make a ccv billet upgrade kit for my 2020? I'd rather buy one from you guys than the other 3 letter company.

2018 2500hd stock everything. Will doing this throw any codes and keep the pickup from starting/running? Located in the middle of the country, so the temps vary seasonally.

Thank you for the fantastic video, love the dry humor! On my 22, won't I still need my grid heater though? Or do you just need this is specific climates?
We always take them off in our application, more so for performance gains. If you are in a environment where it stays 30 and lower all year then yes I would keep the factory unit on!

cummins service manul says leave fuel rail mount bolt loose so u dont crack the fuel rail

We have installed in that application to be honest , if it did work the check engine light would come on if the power wire is removed from the factory heater sir !

Did you just assume my gender?! Kidding. I do have a question though - are there torque specs on the fuel lines, and the spacer plate?
@coast.cutter7552 We don’t sir provide any on the spacer plate bolts but if you’d like them we can grab those. For the fuel lines tight sir 29k of pressure go through them so put a little elbo on them you won’t hurt them.
Any other mods needed for a grid heater delete? I want to do it on a bone stock engine

No it get rid of the pressure relief that can wear out
