Do you like a spiced pumpkin tea? Do you prefer a sweeter coffeehouse style scone, or the traditional afternoon tea version? Let me know in the comments!
I found a tea biscuit that claims to be the original tea biscuits. They are called KEDEM Tea Biscuits and they are made in Israel. I like them, not too sweet and come in 3 flavors. Have you ever tried them? Found them in a H.T. grocery store and they're not expensive.
Thank you Sonya for bringing us, "British Tea lovers," yet another wonderful video! I am a pumpkin spice lover and planning to try the Yogi pumpkin spice tea that you preferred. For the scones, I prefer the traditional afternoon tea version. My recipe is quite like the one you shared today, however I do substitute half and half for the milk. It doesn't change the way they turn out at all, looking just like yours. It's very satisfying when this recipe changes a scone avoider into a scone lover!
You must be one of few Americans to own a kettle, let alone one with temperature controls! The scones looked good, mixing with the knife was the way I was taught to do it but it seems to have fallen out of fashion. Cheese scones are delicious too.
I personally love pumpkin spice. My grandmother always told me that pumpkin pie is a very good breakfast food. The scones turned out to be beautiful. I thoroughly am enjoying watching your videos. They’re very calming and informative. I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving. Kathy.
Your videos are such a delight to watch! you’ve got me drinking tea more often these winter months. I actually love a savory scone with rosemary and a salty dry cheese like pecorino to balance out a sweeter herby tea
Nice looking scones. My oven is one of those that varies. Never the same temperature twice. 😁 Talking of spice. I made a spice cake today but forgot to put the mixed spice in so it's just a sponge cake. lol
Thank you for the recipe and the demonstration! I used GF flour and added orange zest and dried cranberries. They turned out perfectly delightful☕️. I will look for the pumpkin spice tea next time I am at the grocery. Thanks again!

I haven't tried the pumpkin spice tea. But, I did have a pumpkin spice beer the other day and it was awful.
Just tea in my teabags. No spices, flavours or anything else.
@@GwendaMorrow I have tried them! I like them, too, for when you want something with a little crunch, but not too sweet. ✨😊
@@GwendaMorrow Ha! That does sound awful! 😆

Thank you so much for watching!
What a lovely Tea🩷🫖☕️
The scones rose beautifully🩷
Mixing w/ a knife;Irish granny approved. Looks lovely.
I have on occasion purchased a calorie-free flavored syrup for adding to my tea. That works for me.

Thank you so much! A very Happy Thanksgiving to you, as well. And I like your grandmother’s idea of a good breakfast! ✨😁👍

Oh that does sound good. Thank you for watching!
Lovely! And I’m definitely going to try the Yogi tea. Their teas are really good.
I prefer either a pastry cutter or a fork for either scones or American biscuits.
