It truly is Amazing I tried it and I love it! I didn’t have self rising flour so I made mine with all purpose flour teaspoon and a half of baking soda quarter teaspoon of salt and then I didn’t have vanilla yogurt, but I had peach yogurt and I was so determined to try this recipe that I use the peach yogurt cup and 3/4 as you saidit all came out amazing. It is so delicious. I love that you show us how to make things with one or two ingredients and it comes out absolutely great thank you for showing us these recipes.

For those not wanting to use aluminum foil, I just put another loaf pan with the open side down on top of the bread loaf pan for the second half of the baking. Worked great. I just made this bread and it came out so good. It is soft and hearty. For those of you asking about baking time, Miss Pam says to preheat and bake at 425F for 30 mins then lower temp to 375F, cover loaf in foil, and bake for another 30 mins.
My oven browned the bread a bit too much for my liking, so I might cover loaf in foil at the 15 minute mark next time. This recipe is a keeper. Thank you, Miss Pam!

    - Mix with a fork to evenly distribute the salt, baking powder & sugar in the flour.
    - just like cinnamon bread mix the seasoning in with the wet for even distributed taste.
    - Lightly knock the pan’s bottom in a teeter totter way against the counter top to make a level top.

She used sun dried tomatoes and cook in a little olive oil with the basil, thyme rosemary and minced garlic and I think she used a bit of tomato paste as well she used itss as a spread for sandwiches she could make it green or red. I never made it homemade like my mom did. It was one of those things only mom makes lol. I never learned how to make it. I made a loaf of this bread today & it was fantastic!! It has a very Crispy/Crunchy texture on the outside & is very tender on the inside. I think it’s basically an Irish Soda Bread recipe. Next time I‘ll add a bit more salt but other than that, it was delicious. I was thinking next time I might add some minced Scallions & shredded Cheddar Cheese. I made my sweet, hard working man a big pot of Italian sausage, Peppers & White Beans for dinner to go with this fresh loaf of bread. Thx for sharing Miss Pam!

Remember, when you are toasting seeds or spices in a dry pan, when you get them done to your liking, get them straight out of the pan into a plate or some cool vessel. Don't let them sit in the hot pan, it's still plenty hot enough to burn your seeds in just moments.

Pam THANK YOU for this amazing recipe. I made it the original way last week and then today I decided to make it with adding a cup of raisins and then I layered the batter with a mixture of cinnamon and sugar when I put it in the pan. I also added a little extra sugar to the batter mix. It’s turned out so good I’m so happy that you introduced this recipe that I never ever have to struggle again making bread that taste wonderful.

@@nahlabella4857 it turned out really good. I wish there was a place to post picture. I was really happy. It’s still dense, of course. But I had a piece as soon as it was done with some butter and then I had put some in the toaster the next day. It was so good. I’m also going to try and add Italian seasoning to my mix. But this is by far the easiest And it’s the best bread without doing all those steps of needing and rising and waiting.

I’m amazed you didn’t let the dough rise and it vane out good. My mom and g-mom used to place the dough in a bowl in which they placed a kitchen towel in and cover it up with another cotton kitchen towel then put it aside to let the dough rise like 30-45 minutes before making their bread.
This way you do is so much simpler. Less time consuming. So appreciate you sharing this method to us

When you use yeast in your dough, that’s when you have to set it aside to let it rise. She don’t use yeast here which is why it’s such a great recipe. I made it and it’s really good

Hi! I cannot believe how simple this was to make! I have been wanting to bake bread for about two weeks, but kept thinking that I didn’t have enough time to knead the dough or to proof it. I was so glad to come across your recipe.☺️ I added Garlic powder and an Italian spice blend to my dough and used a glass pan for which I had to lower my temperature 25° and also cook my bread an additional 15 minutes, but it is so delicious!
