  • Airbus A380 Lands after heavy rain with Birds in its Path and creates a massive water spray on landing. The A380 is one of the most impressive planes in the world, and in this video, you'll see it in action. Filmed early in the morning after a heavy rain, the runway is still wet and there's a flock of birds nearby. As the A380 comes in to land, it creates a huge water spray with its powerful jet engines, making for a stunning sight. You'll feel the power of this incredible aircraft as it touches down on the wet runway, and see the flock of birds scatter in the wake of the plane. This is a must-watch for aviation enthusiasts and anyone who appreciates the beauty of a powerful machine in action. Don't miss out on this incredible footage!
    Here are some 10 interesting facts about the Airbus A380:
    1) Largest commercial passenger airplane in the world, with a wingspan of 80 meters (262 feet) and a length of 73 meters (239 feet).
    2) It has two decks and can carry up to 853 passengers, depending on the configuration.
    3) This airplane Wings are so large that they had to be transported by boat from the factory in France to the final assembly line in Germany.
    4) The A380's engines are the largest commercial jet engines ever built, with a diameter of 3.4 meters (11 feet) and a thrust of up to 84,000 pounds.
    5) It has a range of up to 15,200 kilometers (9,500 miles) and can fly non-stop from New York to Hong Kong or Sydney to Dallas.
    6) Cockpit features advanced fly-by-wire technology, which means that the plane is controlled electronically rather than mechanically.
    7) The A380 has a unique "tailstrike prevention" system that uses sensors to detect if the tail of the plane is in danger of hitting the runway during takeoff or landing.
    8) Aircraft has more than 500 kilometers (310 miles) of wiring and 4 million individual components.
    9) It is known for its quiet cabin, with noise levels that are up to 50% lower than other large planes.
    10) The A380 is a favorite of many travelers for its spaciousness, comfortable seats, and luxurious amenities, including onboard bars, showers, and private suites.

      I'm still hoping they will renew Airbus A380 productions 🙂👍I can understand why you feel saddened by the discontinuation of the Airbus A380. It is indeed an incredible aircraft that has set new standards in the aviation industry. The A380 has revolutionized air travel, offering unprecedented levels of comfort, luxury, and space for passengers, while also being one of the most fuel-efficient aircraft for its size.However, the decision to discontinue the A380 was based on various factors, including changing market demands, increased competition. There will be new planes that will offer different advantages and features, and it's exciting to see what the future holds for air travel.

      Only one has been decommissioned. I doubt any others in service will be decommissioned in the near future, and hope they will continue to fly for many, many years. The operators like emirates and etihad still need these amazing large birds because of their hub model. But I can’t see airbus making any more.

    A truly great capture and it has my favorite angle of the A380. Straight on so one can see the wonderful wings. And the start of the video was awesome Oh, look, an aircraft. Wait, that's bigger that an aircraft. And it's headed right at me. The TUI crossing really helps the scale too. The TUI was a big aircraft. AV videos do not get than better this. Thanks. I have not flown on an A380 but I wish to.

      These pilots doing an amazing job. Also Airbus A380 is using Brake to Vacate. It is a feature installed on newer A-380s and also on the new A-350XWB that allows the pilot to select which runway exit s/he needs to use, and the system will brake hard enough, but just hard enough, to slow the plane to taxi speed by that turnoff. This minimizes time on the runway.

    • @topfelya
      @topfelya  11 місяців тому +1

      Thank you for watching mate 🙂👍The Airbus A380 is very well known for its typically smooth landings.The A380 is a large aircraft with a high maximum takeoff weight. Its size and weight provide stability during landing and help dampen the effects of crosswinds and turbulence, leading to smoother touchdown. It's important to note that while the A380 is designed for smooth landings, the actual landing experience can still vary based on factors such as runway conditions, wind speed and direction, and pilot technique. Individual pilot skills, techniques, and environmental conditions can all influence the quality of the landing, regardless of the aircraft type.

    The A380 is a stunning piece of art in the sky. But if Boeing was discontinuing the 747 because of slump sales due to fuel economy with 4 jet engines I didn’t know why Airbus thought the A380 would be a big seller. Sort of sad to see the A380 has already been discontinued after future committed sales. But it’s even sadder to see the true and forever Queen of the sky discontinued. The 747.

      Emirates airline 🙂. This new livery recognizes the Museum of the future, a squashed donut-shaped building in Dubai. The idea behind the livery is that the attention-grabbing building can generate publicity as it flies to airports around the world. According to Emirates, the livery applied to ten of its aircraft. This will allow the carrier to spread the message around the world, with a focus on Europe and key Arab regional cities.

      Good question mate ! The A380 doesn't need reverse thrust on all four engines
      So the first reason why the A380 only has reverse thrust on two inside engines is because that's all it needs. Further reverse thrust is surplus to requirements and simply adds to the plane's overall weight and puts more stress on the wing structures. Also outboards engines are often way out over the edge of runways, it decreases the risk of FOD (Foreign Object Debris)

    What is the difference between flying on a regular plane and the Airbus??

    • @topfelya
      @topfelya  11 місяців тому

      Good Question mate 🙂 Airbus is known for incorporating advanced technology and innovative designs into its aircraft. It has introduced features such as fly-by-wire systems, advanced aerodynamics, and cockpit technologies aimed at enhancing safety, efficiency, and passenger comfort. Different Airbus models offer distinct features. For example, the Airbus A380 is a double-deck, wide-body aircraft with a spacious cabin and the capacity to carry a large number of passengers. The A350 incorporates fuel-efficient engines and composite materials to improve fuel efficiency and reduce environmental impact. The A320neo (New Engine Option) series focuses on fuel efficiency and reduced noise levels.It's important to note that the flying experience can also be influenced by factors unrelated to the aircraft manufacturer, such as the airline's service, crew, and overall flight operations. Additionally, while Airbus is a prominent manufacturer, there are other manufacturers like Boeing, Bombardier, and Embraer that produce commercial aircraft with their unique features and characteristics.

    He only reversed the two onboard engines. It must have been a long runway, with plenty of distance to slow down.

    Great perspective. I wonder how much fuel is burned on the ground.

    • @topfelya
      @topfelya  11 місяців тому

      Good question mate ! Here is some info for you. The Airbus A380, like other commercial aircraft, typically burns fuel during various stages of its operation, including when it is on the ground. However, the amount of fuel burned on the ground is relatively small compared to the fuel consumption during flight.
      While precise figures for fuel consumption on the ground can vary depending on factors such as the duration of ground operations and taxiing distances, it is estimated that an Airbus A380 consumes approximately 5,000 to 6,000 pounds (2,270 to 2,720 kilograms) of fuel per hour when it is idling on the ground.
      It's worth noting that the A380's fuel consumption is significantly higher during the takeoff and climb phases of the flight. During these phases, the aircraft requires substantial thrust and consumes a substantial amount of fuel. Once cruising altitude is reached, fuel consumption decreases significantly.
      Keep in mind that these figures are approximate and can vary depending on several factors such as the airline's operational practices, the specific model of the A380, and the conditions at the airport.
      Have a nice day and thank you for watching my videos 🙂👍

    Meh. Any bone head can fly an A380. The A380 is a flying computer practically flies itself. Thank the engineers and computer scientists who designed the airplane so almost anyone with a room temperature IQ can fly the plane. Future planes will be pilotless. The pilot will be replaced by AI and automation.
