Our pilot rode a bucking bronco of a wind, with our Connie working with him and running rich, that was crazy to watch from my window seat just behind the wing. It was four hours of sequential "this may be my last breath' type of terror. Five landing attempts, aborted. Storm became worse. This is why people clap when the plane lands.
Why?
The pilot does his job?
I can confidently say that we wouldn't be friends.
@abso wep So you clap when the bus driver gets you home safely? No you don't. Do you clap when the construction worker builds a foundation, or an electrician fixes a broken powerline without getting electrocuted? Nope. So the pilot is just doing exactly what he was trained and supposed to do. There is no alternative option for the pilot, therefore, we don't clap at mundane repetitive jobs such as landing an aircraft.
@abso wep Yeah sure thing buddy. And the sky is purple when you look away.
4:40 almost looks like the aircraft wants to flip backwards 😨
Excellent work by these pilots and the videographer! 👍
Thank you for your effort to bring us this awesome and enjoyable video 👍💯
Greetings from Egypt 💪🇪🇬💪
Cheers🥂
Glad you enjoyed it!
WoW❗ SOME FANTASTIC PILOTS
Bet there was a LOT of cheering for those crew from the passengers 👏
Низкий поклон пилотам всего мира.вы настоящие мужчины!!!
Imagine the pressure these guys feel I couldn’t
Damn, imagine being the passengers in any of these planes....
imagine being the pilot dude!
Yeah i remember my case at guanzou airport with Ethiopian Airlines from Addis - Guangzhou (china) in 2011. Since that day i don't like to take airplanes. I told you it was horrible to be inside.
@@jeanclaudemusimbi8209 What happened?
I have built and maintained many of these aircraft types including many of A380... Building them is one thing.. Flying them as these guys do! Much more impressive 👍👍
These pilots are absolutely The VERY BEST!! That is extremely impressive to fly under those conditions.
Couldn't agree more! Thank you for visiting my channel Ken !
Que gusto poder disfrutar de tan espectaculares imágenes! . Mi más sinceras Felicitaciones TOPFELYA!. 👍👏👏👏👏👏👏
Nice video love the A380!!
Thank you for watching mate !
A minute in, A380!!!, gently sets down a freaking A380!!! 🤜🤛
Fabulous pilots and fantastic filming
Taking off looked bad enough, but landing in those conditions must require amazing skill. What Fantastic pilots we have! 👍
Im absolutely agree with you Ian
Oh, that’s what those little bags are for in the seat backs.

Great compilation! Very well done! There is another storm coming this weekend. Are you going plane spotting again?
Im not sure yet , but I will try . I have another plans for this weekend . Thank you for watching Dim !
Another bloody storm ??
@@cyodylolgaming yep storm Dennis.
@@ds1868 Gordonbenit
@@cyodylolgaming Yes, this weekend.
Congrats to the Captain and their Crew. Under those winds and rain. Truly a heroes. Blessings ☝️ 🙌
The skill of them Pilots are outstanding wow !. The wing flexibility just goes to show how well designed they are. I can't even fly an RC plane in a 2 mph wind. They deserve a massive salary increase!
1:30 the wings are actually flapping like bird wings🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️!! Omg😨😨😨!!!
Great video again! I enjoy the stormy landings and take offs! Nevertheless respect to you for recording this in heavy rain and wind conditions! :D Big fan!
Thank you mate . Im appreciate that
I assume you enjoy watching stormy landings. let me tell you, dont be inside one of he planes in a stormy landing, you will shit your pants!
i only ever had one very bad stormy landing experience! noone inside the plane were making a noise, you could hear the winds/rains/engine noise... we made it to the ground after 4-5 aborts, and even the landing felt like we crushed the ground and we re gonna die! i wish none to experience it... you seriously wont enjoy it when you are inside one of these situations!
I was more amazed at the runway having so many dips and valleys. I always thought runways had to be more smooth and flat grade.
No runway is perfectly flat. The extreme zoom of the lens used just exaggerates the contours.
You are stupid
,same
@@Crazy--Clown he wrote what he was thinking you're mom is stupid
It's amazing to watch these huge machines fighting mother nature.. thanks for the footage!
Glad you enjoyed it . These pilots are so professional and well trained
Wow - not for the weather but for that hilly runway. Like a rollercoaster 🎢
The zoom messes with the perspective, but ya, it's not even close to being flat.
I wonder what goes through the pilots mind when taking off/landing in those conditions. Are they nervous?
Probably not to be honest. They are extremely highly trained
They know exactly what to do, and they'll know if it can't be done. Quite a few flights were rerouted due to the storm.
Is this a total pilot work or does the aoutopilot/computer land the plane?
If he doesn't get it right, a whole plane full of people who just shat themselves is gona go thru his mind.
@@gustavdergeist most big airports will have a system in which they create a virtual slope for the plane to reach the runway, once the plane's system pick this signal up, it will glide down to the runway mostly by itself.
Now I'm not too sure about this part, but I believe that in these conditions, when the planes gets closer to the runway, it will be almost fully manual for the pilot to maneuver it in order to land safely.
great footage no bullshit talking awesome video thank you
Thank you
I would love to be on one of those, The adrenaline rush would be flippin epic
Ignis Pyro be careful with your thinking 💭!
I went to bermingham on an sas crj 900 this tuseday and it was scary like we where banking to the left and right and seconds before it turned a bit then the plane bounced once and landed so pls be careful
Ignis Pyro I’d be peeing in my pants!
In 1960, flew to The Azores Islands. 2-300 miles from Lajes Field which is 800 miles off the coast of Portugal. We were in a C-121 Constellation, a massive pop up storm in the Atlantic caught us. Our pilot rode a bucking bronco of a wind, with our Connie working with him and running rich, that was crazy to watch from my window seat just behind the wing. It was four hours of sequential "this may be my last breath' type of terror. Five landing attempts, aborted. Storm became worse. Pilot took us to the top edge of the storm and flew to stay airborne, I'm pretty sure disregarding any destination, to just ride the wind . I'm in the middle of writing the book and am watching videos to see how to describe and convey the new ways I know about how stomachs can flip and flop and ten other moves. I'd say these pilots did great in this video. The storms are about 2/3 rd's of the one that surprised the weather guys.
Awesome video mate, kudos to all pilots!
Great work capturing such stunning footage. I dont know about the passengers and the crew on board but I’m still shaking from looking at some of these takeoffs and landings. 🤯🤯🤯🤯
