Note that amongst the demigods, Mohg is also missing his left eye. And as others have noted, Ranni's true form is the spirit that is missing a left eye (which is where she overlaps with her mirror-image doll, on its missing right eye). I think the missing left eye in some way represents sinning against the Erdtree / Greater Will. Those children of Marika/Radagon who turned their back on the Erdtree. Whether that's an in-world thing, or literary symbolism, I'm still not sure.
I believe Mohg doesn't follow these patterns, i believe it's showing his devotion to his omen heritage as he refueses to trim his horn even if he will lose an eye for it. For Ranni the 2 faces to me at least, have it's own symbolism but for the eyes and it's symbolism i wouldn't rely on the spirit face.
@@G4meplus Thank you for the reply! That seems very true of Mohg, at least in-universe. Don't we have to insert the unalloyed needle into our eyes to ward off the outer gods?
The game doesn't specifically tell us that but i think it's very logical yes, great catch.
Are you working on a video for the Gloam Eyed Queen, id like to bounce some ideas and unresolved patterns your way or drop them by email if you're receptive!
I would be happy to receive those, you will find my contact email in the about section on the channel page.
Ssssoooo what about Melina being the maiden for Messmer, and she was the one burned for the great tree when it was burned down
In my opinion, Marika, Radagon, Malenia and Miquella have their one eyes closed. We have never seen Marika' s both eyes of her human form and never seen Malenia' s and Radagon' s too. Don't fall into their presentation in the statues I mean their living- fleshling forms. Idk but it makes me wonder everytime.
Was "the eyes have it" taken for a title for the video?
Love your channel, I can tell you are Egyptian!
Even mogh has 1 eye
Is Melina actually an alter ego of Mesmer?
I think St. Trina opened her third eye.
I like that interpretation.
You know what they say, "eyes are the windows to the soul"!
Who told you that after burn Melina is dead?
if you sacrificed her then went and inherited the frenzied flame before fighting Radagon Melina will not appear at the end to deliver you destined death.
@@G4meplus that doesnt mean she is dead.
And who you think transfered you to Azula and then to Capital?
She lied about amnesia. Serving Fingers. Messmir is her twin.
Is this gonna prove my theory that Ranni, Melina, Messmer and Miquella are the same person?
Yes, because Miquella is Mycelia from Mycology and Micelle from Cytology.
I don’t know about Ranni, but I think Melina, Messmer, Miquella, and St Trina are the same person
