So they “stage” the house with minimal items, so it’s supposed to encourage the prospective buyers the ability to create their vision of how they want the house to look. Basically using psychology to get you to want the house. That’s why when selling a house, they tell you to have minimal contents: no personal photos, no pictures or things on the wall or counters, bare bones so buyers can be more open to “seeing” themselves in the house. I guess you gotta do whatever you gotta do to sell the house.

Beautifully designed home and the large windows bring in a lot of light. Also like the fact that it isn't too open plan and I like the outdoor brick fireplace, it is a nice feature.

that house is worth maybe 1.5 million with all the other homes surrounding it, now if you put it on a 5 to 10 acre plot of land....then i might pay 3 million. but with no real back yard and not much elbow room, i'm just not impressed......

The neighbors are just few steps away, the fence is in everywhere, small lot, lack of parking space...and privacy...the design inside is nice and contemporary nevertheless you can get a better view and lot in another location for the same price.......

You could get a house in Alabama like this with a lake in your back yard for 700,000 with at least 1-2 acres of land.
I am assuming your paying for the neighborhood. I live over in Clearwater, FL and 6.8mi can score you a lot more than this (like a mansion with your own private beach and dock). Specially down south in Lakewood Ranch or Naples.

Go 1 block north in Oakville and the same house and lot size would go for around $4M. This is south of Lakeshore and a stone throw distance to Lake Ontario. If it was on the water with Riparian rights it would be at least $17M. This is Oakville folks.

Clean and bright is one thing but this recent move towards sterile white almost everywhere is out of hand. If I wanted sterile white I'd move into a hospital ward... No thanks, give me some colour on the walls and I'll celebrate wood's tones, be it natural or stained!!!
