Xem is actually made for this, his commentary is spot on, he's super crowd/chat orientated and the people on the couch are actually being insightful and are helping to explain things that casual watchers wouldn't notice.
Been watching a lot of the VODs from this year and I have to say: this is one of the most entertaining runs I've seen in a while. It's a shame that it was too early for the audience to be fully engaged with it. Xem definitely shouldn't be a backup runner. He is great to watch run. Plus, the fact that he's making donations for every death in a game where he intentionally dies frequently is awesome. Overall great run and I hope to see more of Xem at AGDQ in the future

Lots of games a played in other languages for speed runs. Usually, text boxes fill up word-by-word and so certain languages will fill up faster. If there are spoken cutscenes, sometimes a certain language has faster cutscenes too because it is spoken faster or with less words. In either case, since text boxes and cutscenes count towards time, it's important to minimize the time these parts take. Playing on a different version would essentially be a time handicap
