I was expecting the singing of Disney songs throughout to be super cringey and I was proven completely wrong. Fantastic job to the runner and couch for an amazing job and extra props to those who sang. Incredible job, that was not an easy thing for any of them to do, especially in the environment. Definitely not am optimal setup for singing with no background music and a sizable audience. ❤️👌One of my new favorites for sure.
My guess as to what's happening with the Oathkeeper cutscene glitch: When you roll into the cutscene, it attempts to remove or swap the Sora play object with a Sora cutscene object, but during the i-frames for Dodge Roll it can't. Maybe the trigger used for swapping the model is separate than for the cutscene, and is tagged similarly to an attack trigger. The random swinging and attacks are based on animation ids for the current Sora object. Since the Sora object type doesn't swap out, rather than the correct animations for the cutscene (in general, the mouth movements still seem to be correct), it plays various attack animations that line up with those ids. Kingdom Hearts has different models for high-fidelity animations and low-fidelity ones, so when it requires a higher-quality Sora model the swap happens correctly. (I think- but I could be wrong, couldn't find the original cutscene easily to compare- Sora only works correctly when it's the high-fidelity model)
My first playthroughs of Kingdom Hearts was on the PC version from the EG store Was so confused when Sora started glitching during a cutscene, but didn't know it was the "Oathkeeper Glitch"
Im already at Agrabah with a time of 1 hour. I already did my Proud playthrough I just have 3 trophies left: Dont change Equipment, No Continues and Beat the game in under 15 hours. I'm glad this is the only game that jas a speedrun trophy.
I find it so ironic that speedrunning the game on Proud is so much easier than speedrunning the game on Beginner. Respect to Mist for running the game at level 1!
