Completely filling a sketchbook is such a rush - one I've experienced only rarely! Yeah, there are times when I regret being sporadic with art through the years. What was I thinking??
I was fascinated with the process, here. In particular, the splatter and the wet runs of color. 🤩

@@awatercolouristthrow some paint down on some good paper just for the sheer fun AW. I fully intend to. Whatever sort of painting you enjoy, do it with colours, just remember values. I intend to photograph my paint choices first to see where they lay on the value scale as also not so good at working that out sometimes. Warm and cool, fine, but value…?. I feel like Tiggr Woohoo hoo hoo!! 😂😂🌈🌈😂

Huh, I just had to close the video and then restart it so I could comment - Ann, did some of those splatters get on my iPad? 🤔 Anyhoo, what an incredible painting Ann!! I HAVE to try this! I know colour is less important than value, but this made me like this 😀 the entire way through!! I want to pull up one of my many animal pics on my phone and give it a try. As I am still not confident with my sketching, I think I would print the image and use tracing paper to make sure the features are like Flora, Whispa or Lily, then let loose with the colour and splatters. If all goes well and I am up and about tomorrow (hurt my spine again) I desperately want to try this. Isn’t it such a coincidence that I chose the frog and splatter card for that birthday? Oh, forgot to say. Not Emma’s Dad, he died in 2001. No, this is my error from back in 2016 😂😂😂🤷♀️ Truly excited and maybe just a little high on pain meds 😂😂😂 Sorry. 🎨👩🏻🎨🖌️❤️❤️❤️🌈🌈🌈🐈😻

I promise to be better about all the character names in your tales…I do have the issue of mixing things up if they start with the same letter, such as Richard & Roger…mea culpa!
