It’s cool that they added gray, the only time I see paint sets include the color gray is when they have a large amount of different paint colors 🤔 Loved the review 💕

I just ordered a set for myself. Gouache is my theme this month as well, and I've been getting good use out of my Himi set in the past. But I've been wanting to get this one. So far I've LOVED everything I've used from Caran d'ache. It arrives on Feb. 1, so I'll be ready for gouache month!!! Can't wait to see you paint with these!

This is really good gouache! I don't like using it straight from the pan, I think the consistency is a little weird like that, but I love these paints when I mix them with a tiny little bit of the white, just to add a bit more opacity and give them a nicer, creamier consistency. When they are properly mixed with the white, I find that these paints can compete with much more expensive gouaches.
And yes, they do sell the colors idividually. I got mine like that, instead of buying the set I chose individual pans and the tube of white. I gues depending on what country you are in it can be more difficult to find the idividual colors. I am in Germany and they are easily available here.

I have been wanting to get this pan set. Do you know if this one can pass or hold colors on the lightfast test?
Good day, thank you for your support and your comment. According to Caran D'Ache website they are lightfast however I have not done any homemade fading test on them as yet. I am planning to but the results wont be ready until a year from now.
