Both are very nice delays at a reasonable price point. I love the warm, tape echo tones from the DM-2w. The CC definitely has crisper sounding repeats. No reason you couldn't have both! ;-)

I just did this very shootout. I kept the Carbon Copy because the repeats - specifically the first repeat is darker than the Boss. So it comes across more 3D and in the background. It sits more under your tone than the Boss does. For me its perfect. Your mileage may vary.

some people here saying the carbon copy tone sounds bad.
depends on how you use it
like every tone
it does exactly what you want when playing Chris issack wicked game sound,Tool,Deftones ,johnny cash, zakk wylde and much more.
basically a good overdriven distorted lead sound.
get both pedals = more fun.
use one as a slapback 1 repeat and the other as a medium/long delay or bright delay and a dark delay

That Police Truck section may have just sold me on the DM-2.. What settings did u use? Also did u add reverb or is it just delay straight into the amp?
