I love my DD-5, I also have a Keeley modded DD-3 (ads an effects loop for the repeats), but I still ordered a used DM-2W, always wanted a DM-2 after a bassist I was in a band with smashed one up in front of me, I was horrified and told him I would have given him at least $100 for it, but he didn't seem to care. 🤦♂️😔
Great demo, thanks. I’ve owned this pedal for a year or so now and I’ll never part with it. I’m 50 now so I’m pretty sure this thing is going to outlive me. Does everything I need and more. I use it as a subtle effect most of the time and it just adds something special to my tone. Great pedal no doubt. Have my eye on the Boss DC-2W Dimension C. These wazacraft pedals are worth the extra $ imo. Liked and subscribed.
Thanks for watching Brian! The Waza pedals are really great for sure! I’ve got a few demos of some of the other Waza series pedals here on the channel. I really enjoyed all of them. Thanks for watching!
Great demo Eric, I sometimes get lost in the weeds with the settings on my delay pedal. I have a Behringer Vintage Delay, of course. One day the settings sound fine, the next I have to change them again!!!😂😂😂 Anyway, great job explaining the parameters of the control knobs!!!🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
@@EricMerrow I’m new to the guitar and after seeing this video I finally finally understood how this pedal works. Now I can’t wait to go back home and play, thanks again 🫂
I didn't get that from the beginning of the video, but this must be an analogue delay. I had a simple digital delay pedal, but I wanted more versatility. I ordered a Boss DD-8 at my local store, but he hasn't been getting his deliveries from Boss for months, I've been waiting for my pedal since July 2021. In the meantime, I bought a used EHX Canyons, and boy is it fun! But the funny things of, my favourite settings are the Deluxe Memory Man setting and the tale delay setting. And that makes me thing that i don't really need much versatility, maybe I should just get the MXR Echoplex. That's really interesting how things work.
Thanks for the review. Good job! I have owned this pedal for a year or so now and I’ll never part with it. I’m 50 now so I’m pretty sure this thing is going to outlive me. I also have the TU-3W and it’s a fantastic tuner. Do you own any other wazacraft pedals? Take care
The DM-2 is a much different style of delay than the 202. Can the 202, get the sound of the DM-2? I’d probably say yes. But the 202 will be able to do a lot more than the DM-2. In my mind, if the 202 is serving the role of being a more a more “out there” delay but you also need a simple slapback or standard delay - then the DM-2 could be that compliment to the 202. Other than that, I’d probably opt to stay with the 202 unless you’re not digging it
@@EricMerrow thanks for the inputs and kind advice. I’m gonna get the DM-2W and if all is good, will sell off my RE202 and get the SDE3000. Gonna scroll through your videos for more good stuffs.
I’m not terribly familiar with all of Gilmour’s tones but I would listen to the solo and get a feel for approximately how many repeats are in the solo tone - then you can match that with the DM-2 m. And then you can hone in on the speed of the echo to get it close!
Waza does it again! A really great delay pedal! The DD7 will always have a special place in my heart.
Great demo, Eric! Cheers!
I love the DD-7! These Waza pedals are definitely awesome! Thanks so much for watching Zach!

Another great review of a great pedal! Thank Eric! Beautiful Work
Thanks so much, Patrick!
Great demo as always! I enjoy how you present the tonal range and analog characteristics of the pedal.
Thanks so much Derrick!

You’re correct, the DM-2 and the DM-2w are analog delays. Super straightforward and simple! The Canyons is such a cool pedal!
Excellent
Thanks!

Should I get this if I already have the RE-202? It’s a bit overwhelm for the RE-202. 😂. I have a RV-6 as well. TIA.

Does it work with acoustic guitar too?
If you have a pickup in the acoustic then absolutely!
