My view has always been that if race cars have spacers, then they are probably fine
Well race cars is only run on a very smooth asphalt surface so a spacer wouldn't affecting their reliability, for me if a wrc cars have spacers then i will use it on my daily
Yes, quality, vehicle specific spacers are great. Correct install required too! Low quality? I don't recommend at all. As with most cheap things, they'll probably break or fail. But in this case, it's something affecting the wheel of your car. So going cheap on these could have potentially extreme, and maybe even deadly consequences.

That was my issue running 17x8 et45 OZ rallt wheels on my 95 lancer: needed 7mm slip ons and also extended studs... all because OZ doesn't make a lower offset in 17 for the wheel. That said, slip ons over Bolt on adapters any day.
Can we make a “every once in a while “ counter for this man
I run spacers. I got quality ones that fit specifically for my car. They work great. Had them on 3 years now. Zero issues. Extremely happy!
Do you ever re torque those things or just leave em alone?
@@jonnyhalo1041f you install correctly and they aren’t over 50mm no real need to retorque. If you are that paranoid, drive 5 miles after install and retorque them again.
I used to do this all the time, but stopped because I use a digital torque wrench(450 dollar one) and the torque was always spot on. Granted during install on anything over 30 mm I started using thread locker blue removable(i heard some use permanent) just so my brain can stop being so pu**y.
What is the advantages of using spacers other than aesthetics?
Yall need to make a video on how to protect your aftermarket wheels. Wheel locks and such
Didn’t you guys do this video a while ago? 🤔 glad you’re doing it again, because I was considering them for my new wheels😊

H&R spacers on my Genesis coupe here, 25mm rear and 20mm front. They are light af and hub centric. 0 issues.

I've had 2" spacers on my failblazer for about a year now. They've worked great for me. Of course I bought hub centric ones, and used lock tight and torqued to spec. But I've had no issue at all.
Bought a new doughnut wheel and skinny tire as spare for my new 2024 Civic Type R (which only had the totally ridiculous inflator kit), swapped it to the right front to check it out. With the large Brembo calipers I was worried but it had about the same clearance as the stock wheel - good. Took it out for a check ride and found it had huge torque steer to the left under power and to the right under braking. Well, as a spare that I may never use I'm not concerned.
Why the torque steer? Well, the scrub radius went from almost zero to about 50mm (my approximation). So, watch out for the spacers and low offset wheels on your FWD cars. They look cool, to some, but can have really sour handling characteristics.
I am going to need spacers for my widebody. Most aggressive LMGT fours come in a 10.5+12.
Thanks guys
Can you guys do a video on commonly overlooked details for a car build? Thanks
Been rocking 35mm forged hubcentric spacers for years now never had an issue.

You got everything I could want? Looking for a nice set of 1961 Pontiac 3 - bar flipper hubcaps. Running 14x6 rally wheels on a 65 Chevy II and like to switch hubcaps now and then.
I need to know what the all red wheel is to your right, if it comes in gold, and will fit a bolt pattern of 6x139
I think anything over a inch is a don’t unless you need to clear something or it makes it flush , but at the point of flush just get bigger tires it makes you look cheap or don’t know how to dial in a Fitment to a point unless it’s a slight adjustment
So any of these significant issues with PA6 duraluminum 3 mm or 5 mm spacers?
Ok, I own a 2008 accord coupe (v6MT) I REALLY want Vossen CV3-R 20x10.5 (+45) as I saw on the vossen website on a black accord like mine. I was told the car had 15mm spacers in the rear. Looks like it has a hellaflush fitment with an aggressive stretch. I'm out of my league on the technicals, but, I want a flush -hellaflush fit but with not much stretch. I do plan on rolling the fenders but what I really want to avoid is how the rear wheels sit in deeper than the front. I've seen UA-cam videos of a female owned 8th generation w/the same setup and supposedly no spacers and looks right! Its confusing!! I don't know if the rears would need to be a different offset to account for the width(or does it work like that!?) Or opt for a different brand and go for a 20x11 rear (+?) Confused and afraid!! Don't wanna spend the coin and get the wrong wheel or need spacers(which im kinda afraid of!) HELP!!!
Do you guys offer silvers coilovers for the dodge challenger?

I need to find out what size spacers I need for my rims and don’t know how to do it?
I found hubcentric 25mm spacers t6 6061 and 12.9 studs on Amazon for like 70 bucks for the set of 4. I'm gonna try them out on my daily. It's lowered so I might have to roll the fenders but just gonna send it.
Update on how they turned out? I was planning on ordering 100$ spacers from Amazon
@@bxrninpain5974 I run them every day, and I drive 100+ miles a day. No shakes, no problems. I'd recommend them every day of the week. I even ran them during winter months because I liked the stance too much on my winter set. I did have to roll my fenders though.
@@bxrninpain5974 just make sure the metal it is made out of is quality, and they are hubcentric.
I ordered the same ones too but sometimes I am afraid they lied about the specs of the alloy. I drive at 110 mph so idk if I will die. LOL
BTW, I recommend you to check yours every month to see if there are any hairline cracks, or loose studs. They are hard to spot. By the time you see your wheels on the other side of the highway it is too late my dude.
@bwedges so I ran those all the way until December with 0 issues. Someone cut me off on route 80, causing me to hit them, and I went into a ditch. All 4 wheels stayed on even with my control arm pretty much ripped off, half my frame and subframe bent, and also my rad support gone. Took the wheels and spacers off, and there was 0 visible damage to the spacers. Now I run the same brand spacers on my beater Corolla, and it also has no issues.

you’re not lowered.

Running a custom build, by machine shop, 2.5 inch spacers with extended studs and non hub centric center. No issues at ALL. Just don’t buy the cheapest shit and not expect problems.
lmao, I have many stories to tell about my 1.5" spacers. I'll save them for another day tho.
I’m still deciding if I will use them on my SUV or not….. but….. some people against them mentioned engineering and offset but if I get wheels they will create the same offset than spacers!!!! So I don’t get it!!! Now….. some brands are made in Germany and the Germans will not allow a aftermarket part to be use in their highways so that’s a plus!!! And the key is in the installation and the right torque!!!! So I’m not sure if videos like this are correct cause some other videos with mechanics say pick a great brand and proper installation and y’all be fine!!
Just put on 20mm spacers in the rear and you can feel the rolling resistance heavy...

Some people just have older wheels, that are not produced anymore so you find what you can used. Probably the same type of people don't WANT 3 piece wheels because they don't want 50 fucking bolts staring out the wheel, and maybe they don't want a trailer/show queen, they just want to use their car and upgrade the engine/sus/whatever
