$11 cash for that pie is an absolute steal in today's world! If lived within 20 minutes of that place, that would probably be my go to spot.
With how thin they're making these pizzas now its costing the establishment $2 in ingredients... $11 is a steal, for the pizza place. everybody knows the rules
@@Forever_Laura Agreed, The most expensive thing about that Pizza was the box it was sitting in. $11 is still a decent price though. Down here in the south they charge $10 for a little Caesars thin crust which for that abomination is highway robbery.
And it’s a few bucks more if u want a topping. Still not bad

Yeah I was just thinking that I'm gonna open a pizza place, plaster 99 all over the building and box, make the pizza thin and crispy, no flop, good undercarriage, no pecorino, use a well thought out sob story about how my dog, cat, mum and dad all just died, stand there and stare at him while he does the review and then just become a millionaire overnight.

@@tylerberman8471 He says that but we've all seen him give out charity scores to people that watch the review. The sob story is the glue that keeps this strategy together, without it then yeah I could see him lowering the score.

It’s good Dave reminded us that he usually likes his pizza light, thin, and crispy. I had almost forgotten the first 1200 reviews where he had told us that.
Its the gold medal slice
Not a bad way to like your pizza, I like it just a little thicker than him, but just as crispy. There's a few places that have achieved a bit of a thicker slice with a very thin crispiness. Hard to describe. Feels like Dave is looking for a flat bread pizza half the time.

Still as a Staten Islander, while it has it's worse parts like bay street is quite depressing lol compared to the higher areas out here. We still have less crime of the 5 boroughs at least lol so there's that haha

The same family that owns Joe & Pat's owns this place, that's why the pizza looked similar. This one wasn't cooked right, I've been here and it's never floppy like that in the middle. If Dave got one of their good pies with no flop it woulda been a mid to high 8 easily.

Almost all of the pizzas in my town are ~$30 or there about. Seriously, $11 for a large-ish pizza is a freaking steal!
Dave's reviews are going off the rails. That pizza was EVERYTHING he preaches about. Super thin, crispy....it's literally what he wants in every pie.....then he scores it 7.6. Hillarious

This amazing looking , sounding pizza gets a 7.6 but that nasty looking , no crisp, microwaved pizza from the last video gets an 8.2...I dont believe his reviews anymore...hes getting paid, or friends or something is skewing the scores that isnt about the pizza...
It's cheaper to pay cash, because they charge a fee for credit cards. The credit card service, that is.

I always feel like most people from Staten Island probably rarely leave the island. Unless if they work in the city or got family in Brooklyn or Jersey. I just feel like most people there stay there all day, everyday. I haven't been there since I was a lil kid but it used to be fun out there.

It’s cheaper because companies are taking a huge percentage from businesses from customers who use a card.
"huge percentage" is like 2%.. not nearly enough to justify $16 vs $11. That's outrageous. Also, credit cards save them enormous amounts of time and ease/less trips to banks and stuff.

The reason why cash pizza is cheaper, maybe down to card charges, the pizza place may need to pay per transaction it maybe ½p + a certain % if customer pays contactless. I mean, that's how it is in the UK for small businesses who have card machines.
