Great video. Have the exact same washer. I almost killed it while pressure washing my boat and it fell in the lake. Drained all gas and oil from it. Pulled plug and sprayed WD 40 inside so while attempting to get it going again wouldn't cause damage to the piston. Left the plug out for a day and also left the oil fill plugs out too. Partially filled with fresh gas and oil. Got it started after some work, let it run for 10 minutes then drained it completely again. Filled with another round of fresh and it runs as well if not better than it ever has and that was 5 years ago.
Can I borrow your power washer? 😂 Taking the time to wash your house goes a long way to keeping things looking nice and up your curb appeal. Great tips JB!
Electric pressure washer definitely take way more time. For siding I recommend using a car sponge. Rinse well. Then hand wash, then spray a mildew killing cleaner, and then do your pressure wash. For driveways I do the same but use a push broom to scrub. Fabuloso is a great cleaned that won’t kill grass.

Love your videos. As a true PW beginner two questions. How "adjustable" is the pressure on this machine? What is the appropriate setting for vinyl siding?
Hey piney! The pressure is not adjustable on this specific unit! On other generac models there are adjustment knobs for the pressure. Take a peak through their line up! I just hit the house with the full pressure!
Hi JB, wonder if you can talk about generators to power homes when power outage, it's now more frequent. About power washers, I use the cheapest 100$ ones since all pumps are now really fragiles n made in 🇨🇳
I would recommend starting a few feet away from the siding with a 25-degree tip even with a baby pressure washer that you'd get at Lowes or Home Depot. It takes 2 seconds to permanently damage your siding, whether it's vinyl, aluminum, or anything else. Even with something as little as 2000 psi from 5 feet away. Houses should be softwashed with chemical. You can go with safer stuff. It's just gonna take longer unless you're cleaning your siding at least 2 times a year. To be honest, yeah doing it yourself can be rewarding, but there's no risk when you go with a pro. You don't want to be that one house in the neighborhood with permanent high-pressure marks on your siding. And it looks so terrible. Chemicals are fine if you know how to use them and you presoak organics and keep anything touching them extremely diluted. Also, a professional softwash would only use 1.5% sodium hypochlorite (bleach) at most with a surfactant to leave a nice scent among many other reasons. Pressure washing seems very simple. There is a ton of risk to keep in mind though. You're pumping many gallons of water at your siding so you better make sure everything is buttoned up tight and cover anything electrical because water WILL get in there. Don't touch anything painted with high-pressure. The list goes on and on
