  • Hey Everyone,
In this video I will show you how I keep my lawn alive during summer stress. It's an easy recipe you can mix yourself and just spray on the lawn. Trust me these products will help your lawn survive a hot summer.
Here are the products I use.
    Only for Swedish residence:
    www.hydrogarden.se/sok/Raw
    UK:
    gardenlawncareguy.com/shop/fe...
    NPK industries RAW:
    Silica: amzn.to/3P6942Y
    Humic Acids: amzn.to/3QzQ2D0
    Sea Kelp: amzn.to/3SG60gQ
Another awesome product I use myself is BioBizz, they make awesome organic stuff.
Either the Raw products or these are awesome. Bio Root contains Humic Acids and Seaweed, so just add some Silica to it and you have an awesome cocktail for the lawn.
    BioBizz:
    Root Juice: amzn.to/3d7olTJ
These stuff usually go out of stock pretty quickly, just google it and see if anyone has them available, I really like using these, don't argue with results :)

You and me both my man, I am honestly very surprised how well it turned out. I mean, I knew RPR grows faster and has a faster establish time, but I didn't think it was going to be this fast. Now for one of the downsides of RPR, it grows so fast, you can barely keep up with mowing haha

First thing I always do is, raise the height of grass, it shades clay soil and roots and keep soil moist. My grass stays green among sea of roasted brown neighborhood lawns.

Exactly, very good to do before every summer, really helps a lot just raising it a little bit. Mine is also green and I can see the neighbors lawns are turning more yellow every day.

The soluble seaweed extract powder you use is definitely the way to buy it, no worry about shipping water.

    • @SamsLawn
      @SamsLawn  2 роки тому +1

I agree Wayne, it feels more manageable in a small bag and using a teaspoon here and there rather than having big jars with 5, 10 or 15 liters standing around.

That's a great result Sam. I do use those products but in a different form. How is your inlaws lawns coming on?. Enjoy your holiday and I hope your lawns survive. We have a heatwave in the UK at the moment. Although not too bad here in Scotland.

Hey Ray, thanks, yes I am actually surprised myself, like you said last time, there was a lot of bare spots, didn't think they would fill in this quickly. Home now from Greece and the lawn is still alive and still green thankfully, we have had some very high temperatures in Sweden as well during the time I was away, so I was a bit worried. Still working on the in laws lawn, I have recorded the first steps, just need to decide if you should release it step by step or wait until the autumn and release the whole thing at once. Any thoughts?

Hey man, thanks a lot, I am glad it is turning out so well. I would say that early spring, not in May like i did it OR early fall, so start killing everything off in August. We had such a weird spring, that's why it took so long for me to get started. Do it in the fall, then you don't have to worry about the heat or anything :)

    Is it a 3 in 1 product?
    Thanks a lot

    • @SamsLawn

Hey mate, good thing you brought it up, I had to put in new links in the description. Usually these products go out of stock quickly. I put in a link to BioBizz Root Juice, that one contains Humic Acids and Sea Weed, so all that is missing is the Silica. So either buy that one and add silica yourself or se if you can find all three and mix yourself like I do. There are probably some other products out there that have everything pre mixed, but I really can't say anything or promote anything I haven't personally tried and know works. But you could probably find something with all three if you don't want to mix anything. good luck dude and just let me know if you have any other questions or anything.
