  • If you don't put liquid seaweed on your lawn, then you should start! It's a great way to improve the nutrients in your soil.
    All the products in this video are relatively inexpensive. You can also use products from your local garden centre too which will also do the trick.
    If you have any questions, let me know in the comments below!

    Great channel thanks 👍. Just curious does your Oregon knapsack make a noise when pumping?

      Cheers 👍🏻
      It does - it's a strange noise, quite loud - seems normal for that sprayer, but not sure if it is the case for others.

    Could you use the bottle sprayer from miracle gro lawn feed if I empty it and fill with the seaweed feed? Thanks

      Yep, that should still do the job as it’s mixing when the hose is on 👍🏻

    Postage stamp size lawn, that lawnmowing reminds me of the Austin powers tunnel turn around.

    I put humic acid and seaweed down in my sprayer. Used envii for a few years and it is a great product but because of the cost I've just bought multi mite seaweed at £17.99 for 5 ltrs. Thought I'd give it a try a with the price.........for better or worse????

    Would you advise mowing before applying?

    • @NoviceGardener
      @NoviceGardener  Рік тому +4

      I would, it will just mean of the product gets down to the soil level rather than just on the grass blades 👍🏻

    How long after you seeded your lawn before you did this?

    • @NoviceGardener
      @NoviceGardener  Рік тому

      If it’s a newly seeded lawn, maybe 4 weeks. Just so that the roots have had time to establish themselves before you walk along it.

    Can we water grass after seaweed?

    • @NoviceGardener
      @NoviceGardener  6 місяців тому +1

      Yep. The product needs to get into the soil layer, so a light watering is fine.

    1:00 Wow, 10ml/5L is a ridiculously small ratio. In USA terms that's like 2 teaspoons for 1.3 gal. 1:37 And that looks like more than 2 teaspoons using their gage. Something seems off.

      If you use Acadian Seaplants, soluble seaweed extract it is 1 ounce a thousand.
      Cheaper to not ship water if your away from a warehouse and no settling over time.
      Agitate fast as you add it.
      If you spill some it is very slippery.
