The Secret to Lush Lawns! Anti stress mix!

- Hey Everyone!
A lot of people ask me how I keep my lawn green during summer heat stress. I use these four liquids to create my "secret" sauce which helps my lawn stay lush and green throughout the summer. I really recommend using this mix once a month, it does wonders! Especially if you are overseeding, this will help the seeds to germinate faster and better.

I love products from Terra Aquatica, they are really qualitative.
I do the same mix as yours except for the silica because ... well because I never heard of it :) .
I also add yucca extracts to reduce the surface tension as I also spray my plants with that mix.
Awesome mate! Glad to hear you also have good results with these. I was actually looking at the yucca extract and wondering if I should put that in to, maybe I´ll try it next time! :)
I've got the goodies in today and made the cocktail only put the root booster in it as well.

Thanks mate! My lawn looked horrible at the beginning of May, so it doesn´t have to take too long to get it looking decent, but it does take a bit of effort. You can do it mate! It´s therapy to be out in the lawn :)

I am going to try your cocktail as well, it turns out I found terra aquatica in the Netherlands.
So hopefully the yellowing and the thin spots will be gone soon.
Oh one more question, did you ever use root booster of the same brand?
I was thinking of using it after I did a treatment for leatherjackets.

Nice one Sam, missed your content the past couple of weeks 😢. Grass is coming along lovely… little tip I learnt, if you do get an iron stain, use a wheel cleaner spray, the type that changes to red colour, as it dissolves the iron. Spray wait, rise. Iron stain will be gone 👍😝
There is also a product called LTP Ferrex that is for concrete which works well.

@@steveg7739 no worries Steve, it's the same products, just liquids instead of powder form, mine ran out and I just wanted to try liquid form instead, no other reason, RAW is still good 👌🏼😉
Hi Sam, your lawn is beautiful! I feel exactly the same as you described, how the green lawn makes me happy and proud, and when it is in a bad state, I feel miserable. I was wondering what are the temperatures in Sweden at the moment and how often do you water it ? Here, the highs are 35-40 celsius and I water twice a day, 6 am and 6 pm for about 7 minutes each time. I don't think I can add anything with such high temperature, right?As for mowing I mow it at a high setting. For now it is holding fine. I really appreciate your tips and I love your videos.

We have temps between 20-26 Celsius here in Sweden and besides the water I did when seeding I have not watered the lawn at all this year. If we get a heat wave I think I will just let it go dormant, it´s not worth the water to try and keep it green. I never do. But this stuff really helps keeping it green as long as possible ;)
Nice video, Sam. Thank you very much for sharing a lot of useful lawn tips. I presume that it's best to apply it on a rather cloudy day? Do you have to water it in after applying it to be most effective or do you leave it on the blades? Best regards from Belgium.
Hey Mate, I would do it on a cloudy day preferably so that the iron doesn't dry up and "burn" the blades. If you are adding iron that is. But it´s not going to kill it jus stress it a bit more. So if you can on a cloudy day that would be the best. No need to water in anything, let it be absorbed through the blades, and what it can´t take up will go down into the roots and soil once it does rain.
Awesome video and channel! I just subbed because I am a lawn-mut myself. Or atleast I want to be 🤣 I want to try this myself. Is it ok to do this process just after re-seeding or should I wait until the seeds have started to sprout? Also, I assume doing this in dry weather is best? But is it still ok to do if its rain in the air? Do you usually start in May / June with spraying? I live in Norway so we have the same kinda rainy summers here😅

When you seed you can just spray the seaweed, it helps a lot with germination, the rest you can wait until the grass has come up a bit and you have mowed it a couple of times. Then you can just do this every month. I try to do it when it´s cloudy but no rain, I always avoid spraying stuff on the lawn when the sun is hot. Doesn´t leave much room does it? No sun, no rain and it should be cloudy, easy! 😅

Looking good. How do you not have rust stains on your border, I always get it on the edges of my concrete driveway.
Spraying very carefully around the edges, I rather not spray the grass closest to the border than get stains :)
Whats your application rate for silica as here in the uk i can only find it for plants and it only gives it as 1ml per litre?
I used 4 grams for 10 liter of water, so you really don't need much, the can I have will probably last a lifetime 😅
Vart brukar du beställa dessa i Sverige? Sen om du har nått tips på kalium-tillskott, har mycket röllika efter mossrivning o vertikalskärning vilket tyder på att näringsnivån är lite knas :)
Köper dem hos Hydrogarden. Om du vill ha extra kalium så kan du gödsla med Algomin, är hur mycket som helst i det. Då ökar du det med tiden samtidigt som du gödslar.

haha I know, I´ve been getting a lot of questions regarding that can 😅
It took me forever to get hold of and once I did I told everyone where I got it and it took that vendor 2 days to stop selling it to us regular folks, too many people reached out to them. Not sure why chelated iron is so hard to get hold of. But I am guessing I won´t find more of it, not here in Sweden at least.

Tjena, jag bytte för att jag ville ha en vätska istället för pulver. Tyckte pulvret inte löste sig så bra i vatten och det satte igen sprutan då och då. Så jag tänkte jag provar en färdig vätska istället, har funkar kanon. Vilket som funkar, tror inte märkena gör speciellt stor skillnad, bara innehållet är samma.

Köpte din mix från Hydrogarden, mycket snabb leverans. De borde betala dig provision då jag tror de kommer få många beställningar. Köpte även en Gardena 12L backsprayer som funkade bra, även om det känns lite knepigt att ställa in munstycket lika från gång till gång.
